1  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Wonky Colored Question Mark Tiles on: 2009 September 29, 16:54:39
For what it's worth..
I do not have the latest EA patch.  I've visited the Goth house, remodeled the Wolff house and have been to the art gallery several times.  I have several mods (not AM), some cc and all the store stuff.
I think I'm in week 30 something and I do not have the riddler tiles anywhere.
2  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Black Screen Then Computer Freezes on: 2009 September 02, 03:05:12
I've googled too and have seen the "update your drivers" repsonse, so I did and I still get the error.  I thought (was hoping) you might have some info beyond that.  It seems like I get the error early on while playing, sometimes 10-15 minutes in.  Then there's no rhyme or reason to it; sometimes I won't get it again at all, even after playing 4-5 hours and sometimes I'll get it 3-4 more times playing within that same time frame.  Makes no sense to me.

Do you ever get an error that says, "graphics driver 'blah' stopped responding, but has fully recovered" with this? ... If so, I get the same thing, and apparently it's a common Vista issue.

I get that error.  How do you get it to stop?
4  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Facts & Strategery / Re: Stuff I would have noticed earlier if I weren't so stupid. on: 2009 July 30, 04:58:28
The only one I did know about was the one pertaining to the relationship panel.

Do sims ever take a tranquil bath on their own?  My sims have had a tub since they moved in and I've never seen that moodlet.
5  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Facts & Strategery / Re: Gardening and fertilizing on: 2009 July 30, 04:53:20
I'll have to check the seeds out next time I play.  My sim is level 10+green thumb+super green thumb and her husband is only at level 6, without the trait or perk.  I'll have them both collect seeds and see how much they are worth.
I've never paid any attention before.  I always plant the special seeds and sell (in one fell swoop) the rare, uncommon, etc...  Anything but the special seeds end up messing with the fishing bait list anyways so I never keep them.
6  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Patch 1.3 Released on: 2009 July 28, 19:58:39
How many of you remove all your hacks when patching?

I remove all mods when patching.
7  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Hard-to-find conversational options on: 2009 July 27, 15:25:36
As far as I've seen, the "Boast About .." options are only available when the sim in question has recently skilled up in the thing to boast about (not necessarily by a full point -- but as long as they learn, they can boast).

So my natural cook, with level 10 cooking skill, who has learned all the recipes will never be able to boast about cooking?  That would make sense since I can't ever seem to fulfill that want.
8  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Story Mode on: 2009 July 25, 04:40:45
So, anyway, even though nobody probably cares anymore now that they can have IndieStone with AwesomeMod, the Awesome Story Driver is still in development and almost operational.

While reading that, I just got the mental image of you standing, with your head down, hands clasped behind your back while your foot kicks at the dirt. Cheesy
9  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / World of Puddings / Re: Inge's Pudding on: 2009 July 25, 01:05:46
Hmm, that link works fine for me.

*edited because Motoki didn't actually make the pretty house. Tongue
10  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: What defines "Growing up well"? on: 2009 July 24, 17:22:23
They don't get a comfort moodlet, but they do get a little cuddle time one.

I see, thanks for the clarification.
11  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: What defines "Growing up well"? on: 2009 July 24, 17:04:27
since I don't think they get comfort moodlets from their cribs

I thought that if you stuck a teddy in their inventory they got comfort moodlets.
12  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: New peggy hairs. They doesn't replace anything on: 2009 July 23, 23:21:41
Because the hair is ugly.  Have you never put some of these on your sims?  99.9% of them look like shit in game.
13  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Facts & Strategery / Re: Gardening and fertilizing on: 2009 July 19, 23:06:29
My sim who also has green thumb, super green thumb as is a level 10 gardener has always been able to revive the death plant once.  Second try and it dies.  This is out of about 100 death plants thus far.
14  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Frustrated with Sims just standing in place in droves whining about motives on: 2009 July 16, 21:20:07
I've read the no auto go home mod was causing this.  You said you took all mods out though so this probably isn't any help at all. Tongue
15  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Facts & Strategery / Re: Sharing inventory on: 2009 July 16, 16:52:35
Yes, EA made the door option all by themselves.  Hard to believe, I know. Cheesy
16  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: After jail, my criminal sim just stands in front of the Police Station on: 2009 July 16, 02:33:19
I recall this being a bug that was fixed by AwesomeMod. Are you using the latest version?

Was this an EA bug or an AM bug?
17  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Three TS2 Bedding Patterns for TS3 on: 2009 July 15, 21:27:58
I'm grabbing the cream bedding.  That was my favorite from TS2 and try as I might, with what's available in the game, I just couldn't get anything that looked even remotely close.  Thanks. Wink
18  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Trash rummaging and Police report writing on: 2009 July 15, 18:54:11
Ok thanks.
I'm going to try and see if putting a laptop in personal inventory gives me the same bug.
19  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Trash rummaging and Police report writing on: 2009 July 15, 17:01:46
I should specify this was household inventory that I put the computer in.  Can you put computers/laptops in personal inventory?
20  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Trash rummaging and Police report writing on: 2009 July 15, 16:48:09
My neat sim rummages through until she gets the info...sometimes 4-5 cans in succession, without any problem.

Phylllis-This probably isn't your issue but I noticed that if you put the computer in inventory, the option to write reports is gone once you pull it back out.  You then have to go rummage/question some more to get the option back.
21  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: After jail, my criminal sim just stands in front of the Police Station on: 2009 July 15, 03:13:45
I'm playing Sunset Valley and have a sim in the criminal career path.  He was just arrested while I was playing today.  After his time was served I sent him to the park to play guitar, then somewhere to eat and finally back home, all without a problem.
22  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: is there a way to turn off opporunities or allow the sim to decide themselves? on: 2009 July 14, 15:47:43
Yes, I've done the same in both TS1 and 2 for testing purposes but never just while I'm playing.  I can't see the point.  To each his own I suppose.
23  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: is there a way to turn off opporunities or allow the sim to decide themselves? on: 2009 July 14, 15:34:06
Is this common...people running the game for hours without actually playing it?
I could see stepping away from the computer for a minute and letting it go by itself but for me, going out to dinner takes hours and I'd never let me game run unattended that long.  I actually like to play the game while I'm playing the game. Tongue  Just curious.
24  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: What did you do with the Wolff family? on: 2009 July 10, 17:21:20
I stole Thornton from Morgana to marry my CAS sim.  I changed his traits via the mid life crisis perk and although I don't specifically remember what new ones I gave him, I do remember getting rid of the frugal trait.  I got tired of him turning the lights off every time he had a second to himself.  One time he even clapped twice and turned them all off, reminded me of my grandmother. Cheesy
25  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Facts & Strategery / Re: Gardening and fertilizing on: 2009 July 09, 16:45:20
Also, I read you can bring the death plant back to life once you harvest it if you have the green thumb trait. Well I do but I never get the interaction to do it. It's not barren, the death plant just ends up regular dead once you harvest.

You have to have high enough gardening skill as well.  I believe it's level 6.
