I think inge (?) made a hack that when they go to the bookshelf they read and gain a random skill....it's been a while since I saw it but look at the older stuff at simlogical.com
ok, makes more sense now. I thought the hack wasn't working because they were still getting totally red when they exercised for a few minutes. Good to know. I'll ignore the stupid thermometer now :p
I did a search for "temperature" and ended up here. Where is the fix that makes it so the sims don't get so freakin hot when they are exercising or in the hot tub?
I'm pretty sure those LTWs were either disabled or "oops"'d out before the expansion shipped. The prima guides are written before the game ships, so sometimes there are things in it that aren't actually in the game because of last-minute changes.
hmmmm maybe I should try it again then. It seems to me it happened a couple of times so I got sick of it and started putting a bathtub outside. I'll try again. Good to know.
I always build a greenhouse now, and a fishing pond. I love the pets, and I use Bathroom Uses You, so I always end up with a bathtub either on the deck or somewhere against the house in the back yard so that the pets don't get tossed out of the bathroom. I went for a long time building closets, because I have that thing that someone made that looks like a pole for clothes, and it makes the homes look more realistic.
That confused me, too. I've never had the alien archetype head....there is one that is elfish with pointed ears, though, maybe you are thinking of that one?
