Ah, OK, thanks.
177  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bon Voyage dissatisfaction on: 2008 March 28, 00:11:16
I got here from SimLogical.
There's a link to here, for the visitor controller, and another link to the right place, at the Kitten-Killing site, which were a mere one paragraph away from each other.
As a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure the broken link is still there.
178  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: No head-templates... on: 2008 March 27, 22:08:25
Alright, thanks. I'll try not to ask stupid questions in the future. XD

So... How does one save sims so that their heads show up in that panel?
179  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bon Voyage dissatisfaction on: 2008 March 27, 21:03:33
Yeah, I know made-up animals can't be accessed while unregistered (I was confused, once, when Firefox failed to automagically log me in as usual.)
180  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: No head-templates... on: 2008 March 27, 21:01:13
...Oh.
Well, fuck.
Now I feel stupid.
I don't think I've used any "normal" skins in CAS since I made a sim-Emma (for Torture Emma Day), and then I just saved straight after selecting the archetype from the bin.

Well, thanks anyway.
*kicks self repeatedly*
181  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: No head-templates... on: 2008 March 27, 20:49:55
Yeah, I've a default alien skin replacement, and added a lot of non-default skins and eyes, but nothing else...

I'll be starting the game in just a few minutes, hopefully. (need to qexpress my download storage and then organize the downloads folder again, it's a long, labour intensive process when I've recently downloaded a lot... Which is to say, nearly every day.)
182  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: No head-templates... on: 2008 March 27, 20:24:21
Alright, that's good. I've removed the CASThumbnails.package file, and I'll see when I next play whether or not it fixes anything...
183  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: No head-templates... on: 2008 March 27, 19:53:06
Hum, I've never heard of such a thing. I shall try that!

Come to think of it, I once accidentally deleted cigen.package, and forgot all about it afterward. Any chance that may have caused it?
(Yes, as is very clear, I am, on occasion, entirely FAIL, as they say. [Way to many clauses there, no?])
184  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bon Voyage dissatisfaction on: 2008 March 27, 18:45:10
So I've read...

I have to say that it worked on me. I was sitting there thinking "WTF? I have to know." so I clicked.
185  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / No head-templates... (Well, I feel like an idiot. Fixed now.) on: 2008 March 27, 17:26:55
For some reason, when I go into CAS, the second option - the place where you can choose from the head templates - is completely empty. I admit I hadn't played for a while before I first noticed this, but I could've sworn there were some there before.

I have pets and uni, but nothing else, and I have a lot of hacks, but they don't seem to be conflicting (I ran HCDU a while ago, with only the expected problems that I'd already made sure wouldn't affect my gameplay)

I usually run with testing cheats on, and nothing seems to be erroring out- they apparently just aren't loading, for whatever reason.
186  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bon Voyage dissatisfaction on: 2008 March 27, 16:34:15
Come to think of it, anything you say would lead to that result, so it doesn't matter  Tongue
(And I read the FAQ! And I also lurked quite a bit, both before and after registering! My lurk-gotten knowledge of this forum, let me show you it  Cool )

(Also, this is the most smilies I've ever used in one post. I really need a life.)
187  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bon Voyage dissatisfaction on: 2008 March 27, 14:51:22
FYI, I haven't ever read the FAQ.

You do realise that saying that will no doubt lead to a "Death to EMMA" style comment, right?
'Cause it seemed obvious to me.  Wink
188  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: The Sims 2 freezing on: 2008 March 26, 14:15:28
Alright, my bad. I thought I read somewhere that it was the other way around, and I couldn't check it for myself as I don't have the stuff packs.
Sorry!
189  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: The Sims 2 freezing on: 2008 March 26, 13:10:33
Last I checked, the game only runs from the exe in the latest EP, and not from stuff packs.
But I'm not certain.
190  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: NEVER FORGET! BLUESOUP HAS FAILED US DAY! on: 2008 March 24, 12:59:36
She deleted the phorum? WTF?! OK, that is some seriously fucked up bluesoup.

Did she ever have a Myers-Briggs acronym thing, by any chance?
I'd love to know what kind of personality makes someone act like that...
191  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: NEVER FORGET! BLUESOUP HAS FAILED US DAY! on: 2008 March 24, 12:46:33
Well, as near as I can tell, she was generally annoying, then got pissed off because she had to do all the work with the booty at PMBD, then she quit that, but blew up when Pescado replaced her, deleted her forum "Be Less something-or-other" (I forget exactly what), then became the First Souper For Whom All Other Soupers Are Named, then came back to lurk and post occasionally. Also, she has a fat head.

I got all this from searching her posts and other people's posts about her, so some of the details may be off. If I got anything wrong, anyone care to correct me?
192  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: The Challenge Challenge! on: 2008 March 21, 23:21:02
I suspect that s/h/it doesn't really have a harder version, and is delaying until it has the chance to make one. That, or hoping we'll get annoyed and tell it to fuck off. Not sure which.
193  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: NEVER FORGET! BLUESOUP HAS FAILED US DAY! on: 2008 March 17, 20:21:12
Finally! I was wondering "Shouldn't there be a 'Bluesoup has failed us Day' thread?", but I didn't know enough about the subject to make one.
For quite possibly that very reason, I would like to suggest that this thread also be used to regale newcomers of this storyline, perhaps?
194  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: This... BFF spam on: 2008 March 16, 21:44:20
BFFs are for 12s, AFAIK, only prevents the adult sims from making new Best Friends. Lot Debugger may remove the memories, as it sounds like the kind of thing Pescado would consider spam, but I'm not sure. However, the memories probably won't come back again. However, I'd like to stress that I am Non-Awesome, so take my advice with care.
195  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Best way to completely nuke unwanted babies? on: 2008 March 15, 21:29:15
This really doesn't add anything of value to the discussion, but:
My first thought upon reading this was: "Thank god Celesta can't reply to this.".
That is all.
196  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: The Official TORTURE EMMA DAY Thread! on: 2008 February 26, 13:53:56
Umm... I fail at Malaysian time, so I don't have a lot, but I did manage to get a video of Goopy throwing darts... through Emma's head.

*rummages through files*

Here it is... (in a .rar archive)
197  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Alternatives to Trillian? on: 2008 February 14, 22:39:54
Normally I just lurk, but I have to suggest Meebo.
It allows you to connect to a number of messaging services, and it's entirely browser-based (no software to install [read: take up valuable space]!)
www.meebo.com should do the trick.
