The FFS Lot debugger has this nice entry: Toggle LTW Bit. That works perfectly to change from permaplat to normal and back. The Insimenator should do the job too

Borked Mahjongg Table:

1. Did you notice that it has 9 tiles? If you put chairs around it then sell it, you'll lose the chairs and get only the value of the table.
2. If you put the Mahjongg Table in a corner and put chairs around it, Sims can get trapped in the corner (I had a visitor nearly die because I didn't notice for a day or more)
3  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Suggestion: READMe labeling for mass downloaders on: 2008 March 13, 13:24:19
Call me lazy, but I made a script for "Mouse and Key recorder" to auto-rename rtfm files to the names of the package they come with, so I can always read what which mod is doing.

If someone is interested to know how, I'll give you the mechanics, since MaKR is highly machine specific with the macros.
4  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: EA/Maxis has found the Nvidia problem! on: 2008 March 13, 13:16:53
I'm running TS2 with all EP installed on a notebook wich is 5 years old (Dell Inspiron 8200, 64MB ATI, 1GB RAM, 1600x1200 TFT). Before FT I rarely had a crash, but now with FT I started using Moniques "Save Reminder" to alert me every 24 Sim Hours to save.

To get TS2 running smoothly on this machine, I used a special WinXP Gaming edition, which comes with no bulk at all. Since that PC is not on the net with that configuration, no AV etc installed. Of course I'm dual booting with a "Real XP".

These crashes are IMHO sloppy coding, and any connection to specific hardware is purely coincidental.
5  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: SimPe is released for FT and Castaways on: 2008 March 13, 13:00:40
AFAIR SimPE makes backup copies of all edited files. Did you try setting the age of the toddler and growing him up with Insimenator?
6  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Wish: Fix some useless features.. and something about FFSdebugger on: 2008 March 13, 12:56:38
For the heat issue I'm using Inge Jones' Air Conditioner (for my gym-rooms) it works perfectly well. I don't know if it's usable outdoors though. The Air-Conditioner in conjuction with Inge's "Ceiling Object Hider" works perfectly for me.
7  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Macro Control: Macrotastics on: 2008 March 04, 21:47:05
What happened to the lastest version of Macrotasitcs/Skillinator for BV/FT uploaded to the site at March 5, 2008 3:30PM (Or as shown in the Zip file Macrotastics 3/4/2008 12:15 PM  Skillinator 3/4/2008 12:25 PM)?  My sims get green then stand there.  I'm still using Bon Voyage.  Freetime I'll get after ACR is updated.  I tried one sim to skillinate - body, another sim  I tried skilinate - charisma.

Classical case of disregarding the old rule: "Don't fix it if it isn't broken!"
8  TS2: Burnination / The War Room / Re: Chance Cards: A Quick Gambler's Guide on: 2008 March 02, 23:22:35
My teen who is very interested in nature just got a chancecard that he and his buddy had a bug collection at work, and some bugs labels were incorrect. Question: Should he correct the labels himself or tell the friend? I chose that he tells his friend and got an interest-decrease because "his very sensitive co-worker starts yelling at him and accuses him of perfectionism". LOL
9  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bork List: Freetime Ed. on: 2008 March 01, 14:20:32
I haven't been able to let my Nature - inspired Sims do bug-collecting (although one has 9 points of Nature interest). Does any non-awesome hack prevent this? (I've got Insim, the Maids by Christianlov, and the mods wich are not in the incompatibility list of TwoJeffs).

Or am I trying in the wrong season? it's springtime in my 'hood.

I found the LTW of becoming the uber-ballerina missing (or at least not accessible with the FFS Lot Debugger), the only new LTW I could get was "Hand of Poseidon" and the top of the new entertainment career.

10  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bork List: Freetime Ed. on: 2008 February 29, 22:50:18
I'm back with some more funny stuff...

Wink
Send a male sim to the Arts&Crafts secret lot and try to make him take a shower... -> Seems they built the washrooms with brains in OFF mode.

I'm playing with nearly all my old hacks, even Christianlovs NPCs and except of some ADHD everything seems to work fine.

ALL abduction related hacks stopped working and some caused jumping bugs when trying to use the telescope. The Boolprop cheat doesn't work either Sad
Neither does the "Summon Aliens" work.

I got one weird thing though, Sims step out of the shower and get stuck (no interactions at all). Using Moniques Computer (or any other clothing hack) getting them clothed will fix them.

Please post links where FT incompatible hacks are listed.
11  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Faster computer - why the lag? on: 2008 February 28, 15:38:39
Who needs DirectX 10 on Vista? Like putting the motor of a Porsche in a tractor :/
12  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bork List: Freetime Ed. on: 2008 February 28, 15:14:06
Skillbuilding with the Thinking Cap on is becoming exceedingly dangerous. One of my sim-teens with a LTW of maxing out 7 skills just lost one point, EACH time when she wore it. Even with totally maxed out Aspiration Sad

The "Summon Aliens", which should work with any standard telescope, doesn't work at all for my (previously abducted) teen.
13  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: [TUTORIAL] Customizing Christianlov's Custom Skintones Selector on: 2008 January 29, 15:54:45
Follow the instructions together with the tool at MTS2, it tells you also where to find (and in which file) is the package used for this.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

ONE CAUTION THOUGH!

You can seriously screw up a Sim who has a custom skin tone originally. Just did it and had to restore  it via SimSurgery in SimPE
14  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Juicer Tweaks - Recipe Book, Stocked Produce Count, and More! - Updated on: 2008 January 29, 15:47:45
Thanks for this mod. For me it's the perfect complement to "Juicers have infinite capacity" on http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=230139
