Would that be 499 or 501?
27  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Slave Bots on: 2010 August 01, 15:48:58
I wanted to have the slavebot mod, but it conflicts with the auto repair plumbing and electronics that I have for sims. Pity.

I have just realized that half the lots I decrapified have lost their names and info. Is it normal? Is there something I can do?
29  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Stuck in buy/build mode? on: 2010 July 23, 23:39:50
It wasn't a problem with washing machines but with dishwashers, and the culprit was the community lot dishwashers mod.
30  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Stuck in buy/build mode? on: 2010 July 23, 22:46:36
Replaced packages first, then reinstalled, same thing.
Should try to take out my cc. Sigh...
31  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Stuck in buy/build mode? on: 2010 July 23, 21:58:34
My game freeze when I choose the empire line washer, and also with a stove. These are game files, should I reinstall? Or copy from the disk?
32  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2010 July 20, 18:19:57
I haven't played since February, I think, but I have had my sims3packs in folders since the beginning, for backup purposes.I promised myself never to suffer again the mess that was my downloads folder in Sims1.
And I extracted them directly in their folders. The launcher would show the non installed at the top, so it didn't matter if I forgot what I hadn't installed. I have reinstalled everything but the sims3packs, and will go the decrapifying route this time, since the working launcher method doesn't work anymore. So I suppose the non recursive launcher doesn't matter , as I will have to keep the untouched files elsewhere.
Done. It seems to have worked, I have a big fat dbc with 904mb of store items.
33  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2010 July 19, 21:26:11
Can anyone tell me what the BeachBedroom, Beachlivingsleep and Beachcas2set consist in? And where is the Islandvilla, and Beachbumming?Never mind, I downloaded them again, and I already had them with a different name.
And I have another question: the launcher used to be recursive, and now only sees what is in downloads, not in subfolders. Am I the only one with this issue?
34  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Stupid Sims 3 patch on: 2010 July 17, 23:41:55

It was unrelated. Super computer was causing it to not load. It would still be nice to be able to update world adventures though :/.
I have the same problem with the same patch and an untouched game.
35  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: If you REALLY want to use Launcher to install Sims3Pack with 1.8/2.3 on: 2010 May 09, 11:08:31
I suppose if you patched your game to the latest, you should change the files you use in the working launcher too. I get the message, but haven't done anything about it yet, because the only things that will install in my game are those I install from the EA site. cc isn't marked installed, neither is decrapified stuff. But it is in game in spite of that. The main problem is that the launcher installs them individually, small dbc files for each time, if I try again, it will install them again. I found lots of dbcs of the same size, with a few minutes difference.
So I make big packages while I muster the time and energy to reinstall the game.
I don't like decrapifying anyway because of the duplicates when you download houses, or the objects disappearing from the downloaded houses.
36  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Graphic card on: 2010 May 09, 10:44:31
That's what I'm doing, but I would like to know why it affected the game this way. I don't think the driver is buggy, it must be a setting or a feature. I didn't change anything either way, but maybe I should have changed something. When I hear people complaining of shiny face syndrome, maybe it's the graphic card, not the hair. But if no-one knows...
37  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Graphic card on: 2010 May 08, 20:21:59
I installed a few weeks back a new driver through windows update. Didn't see any difference. But I started a game today, and there were problems: one of my old cc hair had the shiny face syndrome, and lots of clothes, specially the leathery ones had a grey overlay, the ea ones. I went back to the old driver, and everything is fine. Can anyone explain the phenomenom? Maybe I will have to upgrade the driver one day. It's an nvidia 8800gt.
38  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Merging mods to increase Performance! (Manually creating .dbc archives) on: 2010 April 02, 16:58:06
Is there a way to mark the 00000 lines as to be deleted automatically? It takes a long time to find them, hurts the eyes, and as I usually miss some, I have to do it twice. Or is there a reason for not deleting them?
Thanks.
39  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: launcher bug on: 2010 March 28, 13:17:03
Latest discoveries: no cc I install gets the installed state, even though they are a success. But I had a look in my cache folder, to see if something had changed, and I have 15 dbcs, some with exactly the same size, and a few minutes apart. I think they all get installed, and the launcher doesn't realize they are already installed when I try again.
Any suggestions?

I'm talking of the ones manipulated by awesomemod story.
41  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: name config on: 2010 March 11, 16:04:28
That was just to track the sims that get married. Sometimes I want a daughter to go to the ancestral home when parents or grandparents are dead, and can't find her.
I'm not getting any younger, and/or can't play regularly.
How do I get the women to keep their names, then?
42  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: name config on: 2010 March 10, 21:16:35
No, but like in real life, they would drop one each generation. Lots of countries do that.
43  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / name config on: 2010 March 10, 18:13:47
How do you set the config to get two barrel names for children and married people? Or at least for married people so I know who they were before they got married.

Tried everything.
Thank you for trying to help anyway.
45  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: If you REALLY want to use Launcher to install Sims3Pack with 1.8/2.3 on: 2010 March 06, 01:57:54
I had this one, but didn't try it because there wasn't a decrapify inside. Dumb again.
Well, success but not installed, so I'm stumped.
46  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: If you REALLY want to use Launcher to install Sims3Pack with 1.8/2.3 on: 2010 March 06, 00:18:21
I tried to find it, but only found 0.15, so thought it wasn't out yet.
47  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: launcher bug on: 2010 March 05, 19:01:57
Just tried it for the new update, didn't work: original/working launcher=needs an update compressed/working launcher= hangs forever decrapified/normal launcher=says success but not installed decrapified/working launcher= hangs forever (I decrapified by dragging, and then through DOS).

Edit: in fact, even though they don't show as installed, they are. I can see them twice, as I put a big package in mods.
I tried to install cc, and it won't show as installed, same as ea content.
48  Awesomeware / Armoire of Invincibility / Re: TOOL: TS3 Recompressor on: 2010 March 05, 17:45:51
I have the cmd open with the options. What do I do now? Just decrapifying didn't work.

Edit: found how. Do I have to type it, or can I paste?
Anyway, it didn't work, the packs still can't install.
49  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: If you REALLY want to use Launcher to install Sims3Pack with 1.8/2.3 on: 2010 March 05, 16:07:29
Well, I've been happily using this method, and the message from markjs makes it even simpler, but I have not been able to install the last simpacks updates: first it said I needed to update and try again, and putting through s3rc it hangs indefinitely at 0% of 'installing'. I haven't tried decrapifying yet, as it would defeat the point, but  is it just me because I suck, or did anyone have the same problem?

Tried decrapifying, did the 'am installed, but not really routine', decrapified through DOS, same thing, then tried with the working launcher, and it hangs, same as before.
I'm officially beaten.
