TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: African pattern for TS3

thanks Eva. Oh, I've got a ton of patterns I want to create. I particularly want to do ethnic, Victorian, Art Deco and Art Noveau patterns. I figure the other types of patterns are well covered by creators like Ambular anyway.

Nice site, looking forward to any future work you release.
Bog Sims Institute has been around forever and a day and they've always been a great site. I vaguely remember having a Rosie Cotton Sim from there back in TS1 days.

I think you made the right choice, that type of pattern is very refined, so the fine detail is incredibly important. White is the colour you'd expect on the background of that pattern. I make patterns for the game myself, so I understand the difficult choice involved. The four colour limit is incredibly frustrating at times.

I loved the attention to detail and clean look of this pattern, I downloaded it a couple of days ago.
I was trying to work out how you managed to make the background not recolourable. Did you do it by turning it that area black on the alpha level and setting white as the filler colour?

Witch I know what you mean, the roof tool for TS3 is a bit on the painful side. It's one of those things along with the interface that EA screwed up with TS3. The other thing that I find baffling is the fact that you can't actually save an unpopulated lot in buy/build mode, you've got to go up to the neighborhood view. I find myself asking "why?"

Witch, it's another very nice, playable lot. The only small thing I notice is that I think the building would have worked better with a gable roof, but aside from that it's perfect. You are exceptionally good at doing highly playable layouts.

It's not at all important to me personally Carleeede, so thank you for bringing it up. I'm aware of how important good grammar and sentence structure is around here, so I try to pay attention to that. I evidently didn't pick up on this particular posting norm, it's no biggie.

Witch, I've just been to take a look at that when you mentioned it here. What planet are they on? I mean the leg of mutton sleeve is great, but teamed with a knee length skirt it's somewhat pointless.
I will have to look into whether it's technically possible to import some of Sussi's old TS2 meshes into TS3.

I like the attention to detail you've paid with the decor. The size and proportions fit very well with the period and it's absolutely lovely to look at.
The only criticism I'd make and it's a mild one is that with the way the economics seem to work with the game these days, it will likely take forever for a Sim to be able to afford this home. However I understand the problem as I've been working on an Art Deco home myself-most of the appropriate furnishings are expensive in-game and the Victorians also loved elaborate gardens. Both of these elements tend to push the price up somewhat.
Now all we need to do is get someone who wants to make TS3 Victorian clothes and we're set.
