You can usually upgrade RAM, and your harddrive. But things like video cards, usually not. They're integrated.

I just got a Macbook Pro two weeks ago, and so far it kicks ass. It's my 4th notebook, and, by far, the best I've had for running the game. Only has 2 GB of RAM right now, but it's upgradeable to 4.

I have partitioned my drive with Bootcamp, so am running XP, and the game, off that partition.

Was this released on my birthday, intentionally, or was it freaky coincidence?

The pic I have of an adult grooming a child was taken back when Uni first came out. I haven't seen it available for adult/child in a while, though. Maybe it was squelched in one of the EPs?

I know the adult/teen grooming option is still there. I use it all the time. It depends what the groomee is wearing, from what I can tell. I can't get a sim to groom another sim if that sim is in a swimsuit. PJs? Yes. Formal? Yes. Nekkie? Haven't tried, but will, b/c it sounds amusing.

I rarely remember to turn off the cheat. I use it a lot, so most of the time I just keep it running.

I noticed it was gone, too. I have a pic somewhere of one of my adult sims grooming his child, so it was there once upon a time.

Hopefully the new Brynne will at least have the same business acumen, so she can make a dollar off her humiliation and get the last laugh. And the aging (or lack thereof) glitch was sweet, but a fluke. I'm sure new Brynne will be peeing her polka-dotted granny dress before too long.

I use both Fraps and Gadwin. I heart both, but for screenshots, Gadwin wins, hands down. It's all I use for pics.

I've only played one hood, and it's the same one I started with back when I first got the base game, whenever it came out. I'm too attached to my characters to get rid of it, and I haven't gotten bored of it, yet.

And I rarely pee myself in my game. 

Will there be a peeing Brynne in this one?

Sim Brynne could have used this a while back...I had to do it with SimPe. Not a great photo-op, there.

(Funny how real Val/Brynne is getting divorced, and Sim Val/Brynne is marrying everyone in sight...but bygones.)

Does each sim get the "got married" memory, too?

Funny, I first heard about it on MY forum. When you told me. 

I haven't had much problems with wolves on the lot I'm playing right now, lately, but there's this one white dog, Nashira or something, that shows up every fricken couple of hours on every fricken lot. She gets shooed off, then comes right back a short while later.

I have TJ's visitor hack and it keeps the strays away, but there's still a lag when they TRY to appear on the lot, just before vaporizing. Grrr.

It is a pain trying to keep an eye on those sims who want to befriend the wolves, though. I don't want any more werewolves in my game.

As far as what the other sims are doing when they produce those thought bubbles, they'll be doing just about anything. Even playing pool. And the thought bubbles pop up because of showering or using the toilet, but not when a sim is playing redhands in the bathroom.

Well, all Bradley was DOING was showering. You'd think my sims would see that as a good thing, as hygiene-obsessed as they are!

Elvie: type "showheadlines off" in the cheat box to get rid of them. Won't get rid of the heart-fart bubbles, though.

I'm trying to remember where I saw it discussed here, before. It was a looooooooooooong time ago, I know that much.

I remember this coming up in a thread a while back, after NL came out, I think, but I haven't seen any mention of it since. Please feel free to hit me if I'm wrong. I can take it.

I used to play with showheadlines off because this little bug REALLY got annoying, but the past couple of months, I've had headlines on, and I don't remember seeing this. Not since...I don't even know when. Pre-Pets, maybe? No clue.

Bradley takes a shower, and everyone on the lot, INCLUDING THE CAT, has a problem with it. They're even spawning multiple thought bubbles on the subject.



Was this fixed in a prior EP and is just now resurfacing in Seasons? Actually, this is the first time I've even seen this in Seasons, come to think of it, after playing for a few days. It's one of those things that really jumps out at you when it happens, so I don't see how I would have missed it if it was happening, before. Has anything been done, Awesome or otherwise, to stop this? It SUCKS.

I'm still so new to this EP. I didn't know there even was a lightening rod.

I've only had one thunderstorm, and a tree was struck by lightning. The fire department came, put out the fire, and I got the message "Gotta run! Please be more careful next time!"

I'm getting scolded by every friggin fraggin NPC in the game.
