yes, tiny, annoying wires I've never noticed before because in all other computer, they never came loose.
the mobo manual I found online says nothing of these wires. Let's thank them for being dumb bastard and asuming this wouldn't happen to anyone.
Intel® 845GL chipset is the mobo type. Junky, yeah, but it's goodd enough for someone who plays nothing but pogo games.

was broken, so I had to pull the front off so I could remove the button. Well, in the process I accidently pulled the wires from the motherboard... and I have no clue where these wires go. Does anyone know where these wires would need to be placed. Obviously, I can't turn the coomputer on without these plugged in.

Arr? I don't get it. You mean you could call someone in the base game with no phone? I don't think that's even possible, unless you have a non-awesome hack at work.
Yes, this was back before ANY of the expansions and the only solution I could figure out AFTER I saw the cellphones in university was that the cellphone code must have been present in the base game. It makes sense as the grim reaper has always used a cellphone; it just wasn't added so everyone could use them until later.

Similogical fridge! Similogical fridge! Similogical fridge! Plus every fridge hacck of JM and Twojeffs. Really, I'm a fridge nazi when it comes to stopping unarthorized meals, because the sims NEVER EVER cook for more than themselves.
And buyable fire is always good for unwanted guest. I have a special room in every lot that I send gain control and send unwanted guest into. I like "died by fire" ghost because they complain the most, and for some odd, sick, reason; I enjoy listening to it while the sims sleep.

That is why I have the simlogical fridge. I refuse to even give them a fridge if I can't find that hack. I'd rather cheat my brains out and give them the all-in-one NPC who cooks for them. It isn't actually bad cheating if you turn on the "pay NPC hourly" option, which takes out like... 10-15 dollars a hour.

I also have social gain when nothing is being saidd, but this is normal in real life also. That's why you feel more social when your sitting with someone else watching TV, then sitting by yourself.
Or it's a glitch, but I don't mind it. Shame you can't macro chat with the social bunny. XD

I've had this happen before, and if you're fast enough, and have a extra sim, immediately stop time, jump to the idle sim and hit the big red error on all button on Jm's debugger. It will usually postpone the birth for another hour, or the baby will be born with a really odd name that can be changed. Better than the lot barfing because of a fatal error.

Everything works great except for when they go to do some restocking. They don't want to restock one item, then rush back to the register; they want to restock EVERYTHING, then go back to pick up the stuff the sim threw down.
The way they do it now is like impossibly better than the way they did it before BRY made the game playable.
Question: Is there anyway to make a BRY bathroom Uses You that alows multiple sims to go into the bathroom to use the commercial toilets? For some reason they refuse to stop what their doing and go to the bathroom until they piss themselves, and when I put the "Bathroom Uses You" into it, the traffic causes it to go beserk sometimes.

This sort of drives me nuts at times, especially when it has to do with the cashier.
I've noticed when sims have more than one type of badge they will zip around doing multiple jobs. I really don't mind a salesperson restocking at the same time (Because that prevent sims bitching that there is a single sold out sign) but I really get driven crazy when the cashier zooms off every idle second at their register to restock, sell to customers, and even tidy up if they have any form of cleaning skill.
So, I was wondering if there is any hack oout there that makes the cashier sit at their fuggin register instead of pissing customers off by doing a job I don't want them to do. It sure beats having to block them into a area so they can't escape, because all they start to do then is cry, and bitch.

Well something odd happened in my game today.
My sim me was at the shop and of course I jumped off to go finish Dustin, and the Pleasant girrls off through college, but my sim came to liliths graduation party and flirted autonomously, and since they were 100/100 they wwere instantly in love. So I decided to get them hitched. My sim moved into the pleasant house and immediately moved out.
When I went to the new house, I noticed the icon above it was shaded like he was still at work, but it let me into the lot to play. when I tried to make him go to work; the game informed me that I was already at work, and needed to jump to that lot. No problem. I go to the lot, and the game goes into buy mode and state the lot cannot be played because the player is currently at home...
Err... okay, so I'll just go home...
When I go back to the home lot, I'm informed that I'm at work, and can go theire, and the same thing happens over and over. I can't access eiither lot, and I'm going to likely have to use inges teleport mirror to get him on another, gain control and sell his business.

Another weird glitch about cell phones. More than once in the base game back when I had no expansions; I got the option to call when I had no phone in the house. Baffled by this, I went ahead and told the sim to call someone, to have them use the cellphone animations, even though I didn't have university even! I'm pretty sure the first time it happened was back when sims 2 just came out, and I still catch them using a none existant cellphone on occassion.

I've never had my sims be fat unless I made them fat to begin with. It's so retardedly easy to make sure they don't eat too much, plus pescado, and DJS's hacks make it impossible even for the slobbiest of sims to eat too much.

I do have to admit. This computer still handles sims 2 fantastic, and I can play DOOM 3 on medium quality with no lag, and guildwars on max quality minus aliasing. It's just the random crashing on sims 2 that bothered me. Definately is PCI only but my sister won't mind. All she ever goes and does is plays neopets, and that is nothing even for a weak video card.

Well, that's it. I'm done with DELL because I've gotten mixed answers from their representatives. I thought I was getting a good computer, but apparently all I got was a piece of junk that will struggle to do the very thing I got it for. Unfortunately I've had to return a computer to dell before for a refund and ended up not getting it refunded and getting a lovely piece of 256mb ram (wooptie doo) even though it already had 2 512's and there wasn't another slot (and why would you add a 256 to two 512?!). So building a new comp, this will be a present for my sister or something, since her comp bit the dust about the same time as my 3000.

Good news. going back to the original drivers appears to have fixed the problem. I started, quit out of the came and went back to the splash screen several times. The video ccard appears to be responding much faster than it did with the updated drivers.
I'll post here if it happens again, but if anyone else has a radeon 9200 256MB PCI, use the original drivers on the CD until ATI comes out with usuable drivers, which will be NEVER!
