1  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Indie Stone Now with added Awesomeness on: 2009 July 20, 18:34:33
Sorry just wanted to ask this, what is entailed in the indiestone mod?
I know it has alot to do with adjusting story mode, I did type this in google and nothing came up so i just wanted to know what the indiestone mod brings to the game.

Ps. Anyone know what extra commands it brings to the game.

It had to be someone who knew what they are doing.  The two obvious choices?  Pescado or Delphy.  But Pescado has been working with AM so heavily that it would be hard for him to take time away from that right now anyway, it seems.  And Delphy seems to be working on other aspects.  So, go Delphy!  It's just a shame that when you figure it out there is even some one  like lousy Chinese Peggy that will be glad to "borrow" your work.

Like that has ever mattered to her?  What can you do about it? Complain to EA?  We could boycott her site. *But, I thought we already did that*  Realistically though what would be a good plan?  It's not right, but...

You found that to be unsettling? Get the blur remover and put your pregnant Sim in the shower - then come back and tell me how she takes the baby off when she washes.

I was wishing that same thing when pregnant. How fortuitous that EA thought of saving their poor Sim's sanity.  Wink

I guess we should be slightly thankful that someone (even if it was Peggy) figured out custom hairs, and now I'll stick to hoping like hell that Nouk is going to make custom hairs for Sims 3.

Nouk hasn't been seen very often if at all on other sites since shutting her site down and pulling out of WickedNoukFamily.  I wonder if she's moved on to other things.

Throwing away Sims for a while to focus on others would be fine... if you didn't have to edit town, change houses and go back in to play them.

I don't mind the school and work rabbit-holes and while I am a micro-managing fiend *to some degree*... I would like to explore the catacombs, see the movie/show, have the baby and a shop for groceries/books.  And visit the spa... I realize that every place accessible would be hard, but some of the places that are inaccessible don't make sense.   And they need a make-over EP with decent hair and facial templates and more body sliders.  *You know when the females complain about the boobs... there is something fundamentally wrong with the game.*
8  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: The Sims 3 Expansion In My Head on: 2009 July 05, 04:19:26
I would like to see them get rid of the stupid rabbit holes...  Talk about irritating... and getting rid of the larvae... bring back the baby and the diaper... oh, and bathing the baby and toddler... the whole tornado baby - it's clean! Sucks!  And I don't like not being able to make visitors selectable... It screws my stories to pieces and I have to play several times to get what I need.

I'm glad I'm not the only one noticing the blush looks like bruising.  It looks so much better in CAS and I have it working on 2 separate super computers... one with 19" monitor the other with a 24".  Another thing that is noticeable is the splotchiness of the skin for close up shots.  I tried to take an infants picture and it's skin was not smooth at all - it was striped and splotched... I've never seen a striped baby... maybe a splotched one, but not striped.

Inge is over at Sims 3 Tools... Delphy has a section there also.

I think a T and A controller would be hilariously popular.  My daughter is getting T3... and she had the Movies (CyberOp  Wink )  She loved doing the plastic surgery...  and is stomping to go to work on 3... No, I'm only very slightly awesome *compared to the real world* ... so no pre-release for us...

If we wish to money order/check where do we send it, how do we make it out and then how do we let him know the title we want/earned?  I don't care If  JM knows where I am....because my life is boring, I have children so I'm usually broke and as much as I hate to be made fun of......sometimes I do deserve it.....fortunately those are the times I can laugh at myself......usually  Wink
13  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Empty and Cleaned-up Templates. [UPDATED] on: 2008 July 07, 19:56:55
Okay, I have installed everything up to seasons.  I also put the cleaned up character files in the character files folder.  I did this in program...   Now, when I go in I should have only Maxis playables & who they know in the neighborhood, but I don't.  I'm going into a completely uninhabited neighborhood.  So, I checked the character files, and they are there.  Any ideas on what stupid thing I did?  I did follow directions, and deleted and redownloaded to make sure....same thing.

Thanks for any help!

Fixed - so don't need help - thanks anyway.

You know, I don't post ofter - usually when I need help (stupid non tech here), but I just have to say EA stinks! *read sucks*  What chance does someone like me who is miles below you guys, but miles above even more people?

Thanks for sharing this info.  I hadn't intended to get spore, but will pass this on to student's parents when school starts back.
15  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Empty and Cleaned-up Templates. [UPDATED] on: 2008 June 22, 19:32:44
Okay, what I have done is gone into documents folders and moved all those folders to my desktop then re-installed K&B, but not started the game - so everything should be ready to install templates (of which I will save to desktop folder shortly)?

Okay, I read the info and have followed instructions from base through and am ready to do Seasons.....
16  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Empty and Cleaned-up Templates. [UPDATED] on: 2008 June 21, 12:55:14
What I would like to have are the neighborhoods with the maxis playable and the people they know.  When I checked the first of the thread that link no longer works, are they somewhere else or is there another way to get that such as separate downloads - one for neighborhood the other for characters?  And, I understand what you are telling me to do with the rename folder, ect., but do I install the templates into program files before I start the game (after rename) or .... something else?  Thank you, I appreciate the walk though.
17  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Empty and Cleaned-up Templates. [UPDATED] on: 2008 June 21, 03:45:23
I don't think you did anything wrong - when you reinstalled the base game it added the three original neighborhoods, before you had a chance to replace everything with cleaned/empty templates. The templates don't affect already existing neighborhoods but if you started a new neighborhood it should be empty. If you want to empty out the original three hoods, drag the Neighborhoods subfolder from My Documents to someplace safe (in case you want to put it back at some point or whatever) and allow the game to generate the folder again. This time the neighborhoods should be empty.

If i read this correctly, I can drag my neighborhood folder (from the documents folder) someplace or delete it if say I just reinstalled FT and didn't save my stuff *I did save download folder*, but checked it out to see how it was running.  Please tell me I'm right?  Unlike others that just recently posted *grac..cough, cough*, I would be very grateful for any help in getting this right.  Thank you!
