Actually, I think that may have started all the way back with OFB, though I really remember it starting to be annoying with BV bitching about hoods not having vacation destinations.
"Your sims have nowhere to goooooooooo!!!! Waaaaaaa!!!!"
I think this annoyance goes back to AL, but it may have started with M&G -- if you have a sim buy clothes at a store, they get the annoying "need a dresser to keep them in" message when they return home if there are only the AL closets on the lot. The only hack I have that affects clothing is the clothingtool from here, and I'm pretty sure that's not causing this dialog to pop up.
Anyone else seeing this, or do I have to dig deeper into my downloads to find something that's causing it?
I notice that quite a few things have been updated in the test & objects directories as well.
For some reason I thought ghostbuster was in the objects directory, but now it is in the test directory - has it been moved, or am I having an F-ly moment?
Thanks -- I missed those object updates. And I guess the FOJ saw your message, because the ghostbuster has been moved back.
Pescado's novelprogress hack was obsoleted by FT (I believe), and should be removed from your game. In any case, FT changed how novels are written, so I would imagine that any hack that affects novel writing is obsolete if it hasn't been updated for FT.
Then it's tight pants -- something else in your game is causing the problem, because the 12/14 version causes no errors in a regular uni. I suspect the problem lies with the hack you use to have them go to uni from the normal hood, in which case Pescado will probably tell you to take the other hack out.
Second, my sim found two maps for secret lots but she is unable to go to any of those lots since when she calls for transportation or tries walk to community lots, they don't show up in the destination options.
There's a secret lot in each of the three vacation destinations; it's possible your sim found the maps for the secret lots in the vacation destinations she's not in, which is why they don't show up.
Yes, M&G definitely mucked 'homework in bedroom' up. You could get kids to macro/do homework, but if you attempted to mouse over it to have them ask for help, it errored constantly.
