I had my Sim go to the gym last night, and there was a hideous little baby on the floor inside the door for everyone to walk on and around. I took a picture of it. Why it was lying on the gym floor without an ounce of supervision, I don't know.
The parents realized it was hideous and abandoned it? The other sims were as disgusted with it as you were so they were walking on and around it paying it no mind? Maybe the sims are really showing intentional thought?nah. That would be beyond EAxis capabilities. Must be a glitch.

Do not run. Ever. I set up my shortcut to go straight to the cracked exe, bypassing launcher.
Sorry if I sound stupid but how do you do that, I have just been turning off my wifi before I launch the game, but if there is another way please let me know. Left-click the desktop shortcut, select Properties. Edit the Target path to go to TS3.exe instead of the launcherwhatever.exe. Apply. Save. Voila. My preferred way is to go directly to the cracked exe, and right click drag it to my desktop and choose short cut. Then I move it to my tool bar.

Why the hell they had to take such a huge step backwards is beyond me.
They tried it with simcity, when they made simcity societies, and what a flop that was. None of the simcity loyalists liked the idea. So I guess they thought they would try it again with the sims? Fail in one game, so do it again in another. Doesn't really make sense to me, but that is EA.

yes. This 404 page was what I wanted to post about on that distinguished forum. Then I noticed that the so called moderators, were posting stickies of gibberish. I tried to flag them inappropriate, but when you do that you have to tell why, and spam/nonsense was not an option.

So did I. I can see all the Reply buttons etc and it lets me create the post, but when I hit submit it pops up one of those grown-up looking login boxes, you know the sort you get when you are an admin of a windows server?
You have to use thwe "quick Reply" to reply. The other method doesn't work. I was trying to quote and reply to a post, maybe that is why it wasn't working? What's the point of having lots of shiny buttons that don't work?

The only irregularity being Pascal Curious having a human baby instead of an alien one.
This happened to me too. If I recall correctly, the other parent was messed up and not a PT. Don Lothario doesn't leave Cassandra at the alter anymore either. But I've noticed this since Seasons, so I contribute it to the increased relationship gain during summer.
That happened to me too the very first time I played, using just the base game. In fact, he's never left her at the alter in my game. Maybe I let them do to many relationship building actions before sending them to the alter?

I have all the expansion packs and stuff packs so that isn't an issue, but I do have a store stuff question. All the store stuff items that I found were through useful links provided by the good people on this site. I was having some weirdness in my game, and had noticed that it was recommended several times in various places to use Hack Conflict Utility. I ran that program and it found possible conflicts with much of my store stuff items. I know the store stuff items haven't caused my weirdness, because that was going on from before. But would the store stuff items cause a conflict? or is this a false positive on the scan?

I haven't used a tv as a monitor since I used a Commodore 64. Monitors are cheap. Get ye one.
I loved Commodore 64. I played on that and a VIC 20. I learned BASIC programming by playing on them and reading the manual as a 6 and 12.

It looks like you somehow managed to import without specifying a hood to import from. Where is your game installed? Does the combo box in the "Import Sims from SimPE" section of the dialog show the names of hood folders (e.g. N001, N002, etc.)? Also, if for some reason it isn't working from SimSheet, you can do it manually - you figured out how to get SimPE to generate the files (they should be under a folder called Rufio, and there should be a file called ExportedSims.txt). Move the Rufio folder into the same directory where SimSheet is installed. Run SimSheet, and go to import Sims, but check "Import from previously created output" before doing so. It should find the files and import the sims without running SimPE.
To save the current list, you have to go to "Manage Sim Lists" again, enter some text in the box in the "Save Current List" section, and then hit "Save As". You can then bring the list back up again by choosing it from the combo box in the "Open a List" section and clicking "Open".
I got it working now. Thanks. My game is installed in the default location. SimSheet didn't have a drop down list of neighborhoods. But when I typed N001 into the space it did the work.

I can't figure it out. I can't figure out how to tell simsheet to get the sims from SimPE. I got the Q&A version. Ran it under -rufio. SimPE saved files. Now how to I tell simsheet to get those files?Nevermind. I figured it out. Edit: My error messages, let me show you them. Edit again: So I manually entered a sim family. Closed SimSheet. Opened SimSheet and the family was gone. How do I save the info I enter?

So I just open the torrents w/ Explorer?
Because, um, I now have Spyware Protect 2009 on my computer, which isn't good, and I'm not sure if I got a good torrent to begin with.
You'll need a torrent opening program, like vuse or utorrent. You will also want Daemon Tools. All are free programs.

TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Ottomas family in Seasons - normal brokenness and more brokenness

Hello, I'm new here (doesn't excuse the necromancy I've just been accused of, but hey ). This problem has just happened for me yesterday. I only noticed it today though, when I saw that one of my sims, Josef, had the Ottomas twins as his grandkids and his child-aged daughter as their 'father'. I read through this thread, but I don't really understand how to fix it. I don't trust myself to fiddle around with programs I don't know how to use in order to fix it, and I don't want to nuke the neighbourhood to fix it, either. I made a back-up the yesterday (I think), but I don't remember if that was before the twins were born. Other than that, I haven't made any back-ups in years - very naughty of me, I know, I know. Any suggestions? In eejit terms, thanks. You should download the seasons patch before playing the family that will fix it.
