I disagree. Look at how apartments in sims 2 were implemented. The other apartments were in seperate lots that overlaid each other. The other "playable" sims were not really living their lives while you were playing one family. In fact they were acting the same as the NPCs in the new apartments. And although you could visit their apartments and go inside, didn't you notice that when your in-play sim was there, *he* could use their fridge etc as if he owned their apartment, while they could not! It really didn't work lol. Under those circumstances it would have been better if they didn't allow visiting. At least the new way keeps some sort of realistic synchrony.

Create another user account. Install the framework and AM in the "Documents/Electronic Arts/Mods" folder.
AM won't work for me in the My Documents place, I have to put it in the install folders like the old way.

The whole point of proxy IPs is they don't identify people. And we didn't see the logs anyway - BESIDES which, istr, Delphy himself who possibly did see his logs said he didn't see any clear evidence to implicate TSR.
And how did TSR get hold of the petition list? Yes, how did they? And did they? Maybe there is a tattletale. Maybe there is a hobbyist hacker in the inner circle who thought it would be fun to make trouble when the blame was likely to fall elsewhere. Or maybe it was a strategic fake hacking calculated to be blamed on TSR. Most of us don't really know each other very well. Looking for firm evidence without having access to anything other than each other's internet presence is really a waste of time. You need to be able to seize people's computers, or verify they are online at the time these things happened.
Still, the speculation continues to be a fun pastime.
(edited to correct MTS to TSR lol)

But you can't strengthen current speculation with past speculation and cause it to become evidence We don't have any clear evidence they ever hacked anyone. The only things I have seen credible evidence of are that personal contact details of members were shared with FAs and that Steve posted a TSR article in a way that led people to believe for a short time that he was the source of the information when he was not. Those are evidence of poor judgement, but not direct evidence of hacking. Everything that they "could have done" with information they had, could have been also done by others with similar information and without the approval or knowledge of TSR management.

Weird thing is there were no hackings during their month's holiday, and they've just started back into the office this week... I still don't believe they're doing it, but whoever is certainly knows how to time things to incriminate them!

I worked something out - he doesn't have to progress in his job, he gets gratification from increasing skills too. I bought him an easel and every time he gets restless I will sell his last painting and let him skill up on that.
