101  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Facts & Strategery / Re: Building Your Own Apartments: Late Night on: 2010 October 31, 10:47:18
I disagree. Look at how apartments in sims 2 were implemented.  The other apartments were in seperate lots that overlaid each other.   The other "playable" sims were not really living their lives while you were playing one family.  In fact they were acting the same as the NPCs in the new apartments.   And although you could visit their apartments and go inside, didn't you notice that when your in-play sim was there, *he* could use their fridge etc as if he owned their apartment, while they could not!   It really didn't work lol.  Under those circumstances it would have been better if they didn't allow visiting.   At least the new way keeps some sort of realistic synchrony.

Didn't you soup?

Yes I did, but I had to come back to see what people were saying about me souping.

I really do have to wonder why the posts I'm making that give information on things are being removed

Do you have yourself on Ignore?   I'm seeing your posts ok.

Anach, Peter asked you a question relating to your latest s3pe report, at http://dino.drealm.info/den/denforum/index.php?topic=253.msg1248#msg1248

No one gets naked to pee.   Or... do they?

Yes, don't use any package containing a corrupt txtc in your game or you will lose your game.

Sorry you have to download everything again, but it's a better idea to check your packages with dashboard before combining them and deleting the originals Cheesy
111  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Coreless AwesomeMod? on: 2010 August 15, 14:27:51
Lol - all my other mods work ok in there, I just couldn't get the game to understand AM was in there too.
112  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Coreless AwesomeMod? on: 2010 August 15, 12:01:45
Create another user account. Install the framework and AM in the "Documents/Electronic Arts/Mods" folder.

AM won't work for me in the My Documents place, I have to put it in the install folders like the old way.
113  Serious Business / Spore Discussions / Re: I realize this forum is dead and buried....but I'm looking for mods. on: 2010 August 14, 11:01:33
Seems like a perfectly reasonable question to me.   Not enough real trolls or sheep about to amuse us these days, obviously Smiley
114  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Is T$R at it again? on: 2010 August 08, 15:50:44
The whole point of proxy IPs is they don't identify people.  And we didn't see the logs anyway - BESIDES which, istr, Delphy himself who possibly did see his logs said he didn't see any clear evidence to implicate TSR.

And how did TSR get hold of the petition list?  Yes, how did they?  And did they?  Maybe there is a tattletale.  Maybe there is a hobbyist hacker in the inner circle who thought it would be fun to make trouble when the blame was likely to fall elsewhere.  Or maybe it was a strategic fake hacking calculated to be blamed on TSR.  Most of us don't really know each other very well.  Looking for firm evidence without having access to anything other than each other's internet presence is really a waste of time.  You need to be able to seize people's computers, or verify they are online at the time these things happened.

Still, the speculation continues to be a fun pastime.

(edited to correct MTS to TSR lol)
115  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Is T$R at it again? on: 2010 August 08, 13:35:19
But you can't strengthen current speculation with past speculation and cause it to become evidence  Cheesy   We don't have any clear evidence they ever hacked anyone.  The only things I have seen credible evidence of are that personal contact details of members were shared with FAs and that Steve posted a TSR article in a way that led people to believe for a short time that he was the source of the information when he was not.  Those are evidence of poor judgement, but not direct evidence of hacking.   Everything that they "could have done" with information they had, could have been also done by others with similar information and without the approval or knowledge of TSR management.
116  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Switching from single PT replacement to multi-PT on: 2010 August 08, 10:34:17
Sorry lol, but what is "PT".  I have been trying to work it out since yesterday but I give up Cheesy
117  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Is T$R at it again? on: 2010 August 08, 09:08:21
Weird thing is there were no hackings during their month's holiday, and they've just started back into the office this week...  I still don't believe they're doing it, but whoever is certainly knows how to time things to incriminate them!
118  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: All Game Sound Shuts Off on: 2010 August 01, 13:41:46
Yes same here.  Or else one sound gets stuck and very loud (usually the PC game or TV) and no other sounds play
119  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Zoom in, in world edit view on: 2010 July 26, 17:44:09
Ah - sorry I was talking about the wrong place - it's when you're trying to move a lot.  The placement does let you zoom
120  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Zoom in, in world edit view on: 2010 July 26, 10:59:24
I need to get a little closer when I am placing lots in game.  Does anyone know where that is set, or whether anyone has already made a hack for it?
121  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Proper stairs? on: 2010 July 26, 10:53:36
You can do the first one!  You just end up with warped walls.
122  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Proper stairs? on: 2010 July 25, 20:41:24
Not sure what problem you're experiencing with stairs.
123  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Fitting room guard on: 2010 July 25, 20:21:53
I worked something out - he doesn't have to progress in his job, he gets gratification from increasing skills too.  I bought him an easel and every time he gets restless I will sell his last painting and let him skill up on that.
124  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Fitting room guard on: 2010 July 25, 18:26:02
Ok I am happy enough with a fitting room guard as a husband... but he has the "ambitious" trait.  He's gonna get rather moody if I can't help him get a better job.
125  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Fitting room guard on: 2010 July 25, 17:10:06
It's just so difficult to find partners in the game, and these two are about the only suitable ones she knows and who respond to her... sigh...

Well never mind I guess she can support them both if needs be.
