Also, shiny new test features added:
Erase Gossip From Me/All: Erases all gossips (including potentially corrupted ones). Forces the gossip DB to be rebuilt in your entire neighborhood.
Prep For Delete (debug): Nukes all memories pertaining to the deletee and shreds file to sever relations. Don't use on anyone with relatives. Then to complete the expunging process, you need to delete the SDSC, SWAF, and character file manually.
Ok, I'll bite... what in the heck are SDSC and SWAF???

I've had some customers that are unclickable.  They're miming the "need help" motions but I can't help them.  Naturally, the BRY-assigned salesperson can't either.  I tried to bugger off the offending sims but their names don't even appear on the sickle as if they're not really at the lot.  This was the first time I've played this lot after installing GLS.  Just a glitch maybe???  I wish I'd thought to force error or turn debug mode but I was just bamboozled all I could do was yell, "Why can't I click on the idiot??!!!"
Needless to say, these sims walked out of my lot with minus signs over their heads.   Roll Eyes
53  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Fully furnished Maxis Item Only house on: 2006 September 03, 17:56:14
I'm downloading anyway.  I'm a sucker for furnished houses, can't be bothered doing my own thing.  Plus it is a nice house.   Tongue

**hits the thankyou button**

What is the Nuke Scene Controller or something like that?  Definitely new & shiny option.
55  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Ok Glamour is installed. Anyone have questions? on: 2006 August 27, 19:13:19
Try looking in the lot bin.

Doesn't really help if you have a lot of custom houses in there -- since Maxis doesn't distinguish the included houses from ones you add, it's almost impossible to tell what FFS added to the bin.  I know I wasn't aware that FFS added two houses...

My thoughts exactly, thank you!
56  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Ok Glamour is installed. Anyone have questions? on: 2006 August 27, 16:49:59
And as with FFS two houses in the lot catalog to showcase the new things.

Okay, I did not know this.  Would someone kindly point out these houses to me?  I've never really used the FFS stuffeth but it'd be nice to see them all in one lot.
Thank you.
57  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Restaurant/Bar/CoffeeBar Fixes: Hobbsee Has A Scrawny Pencil Neck! on: 2006 July 16, 14:42:12
I've only tried this one time but I noticed that when my sim bought coffee for another sim, the other person did not take her coffee, she simply walked away.  Is this a side effect if perhaps she wasn't tired enough?  I was indeed pleased with the lack of a crowd in front of the espresso cart.
58  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: OFB patch 2 MaitreD bug on: 2006 July 12, 03:19:44
I'm glad it's not just me.  I thought I was going crazy.  I was getting frustrated when the maitred kept saying no available seat yet there were still chairs left even at the counter.
We need the mighty "game fixers" for this.
59  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: The most violent Sims 2 hack ever. on: 2006 July 04, 18:07:23
When I click on the link, it says file has been deleted due to inactivity.  Am I missing something?
60  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: New Patches for OFB and FFS on: 2006 June 16, 00:46:48
I'm having a brain fart or could be because FFS' status as an EP or not EP was never clear to me --  SO, do I install both OFB & FFS if I have both?  OR just FFS?  I am SOOO not awesome.

Now that I've read all the fixes, I guess I only need FFS.  They've included everything from OFB patch.

"Single serving desserts no longer disappear from owner's inventory upon restock."

Well, does that mean we can remove Crammyboy's restock fix.  Will the patch prevent the whole meal plates from disappearing?

"Moveobject cheat can now be used to manipulate and place objects in out of bounds tiles."

Someone at MTS2 made a hack so we can place objects on the street.  Does the above feature in the patch now make it so that we can remove that hack?

61  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Invisible Fish Poll on: 2006 May 22, 21:51:26
I have fish.  NVIDIA GeForce 6800 Driver 6.14.10.8195.

I lost my fish when I had shaders false but got rid of that line coz I like my fishies.
62  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Business Controller: Business Runs YOU! on: 2006 May 08, 19:21:37
I noticed this hack was recently updated.  JM, did you by any chance change something so that the salesperson also tries to restock in between sales pitches?  I kept getting out of item messages but no one was assigned to restock.
I had a lot of instability also.  The server was still not doing her job even with the waiter fix hack.  The host kept trying to sell items.  I had controller token decay error messages.  Just weird...  But it was just one session.  I'm going to go back and play that restaurant again and reset everything or something.  So I probably just have a mixture of non-awesome hacks.  Gotta do more testing.
63  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: What's Up With The Fish? on: 2006 April 14, 01:53:28
I found out why my fish was missing!  When I installed Gunmod's light hack (as completed by ChocolatePi), there was a userstartup cheat and with it was the line "boolprop useshaders false".  I took that out and voila, fish is back.  So...  I don't know much about what that command was doing or how important it was to the light hack but I think I'd rather have my fish.
Hope this helps some of you.
64  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: What's Up With The Fish? on: 2006 April 06, 00:18:45
Well, I guess that saves me from trying to figure out where my original light files are.  Thanks.  Smiley
The only other thing I can think of is the graphics card.  But I've had the same one for years and I know I had fish before.  I have NVIDIA Geforce 6800 Series.  I did update to the driver version 6.14...8195.  Speaking of which, before OFB I had weird graphics issue with this driver and I saw posts about rolling back to the previous version.  Anyway, post-OFB, no more graphics problems unless, of course, you count the invisible fish.  But I'm digressing...
Oookkkaaaay, so what do we do now?
65  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Business Controller: Business Runs YOU! on: 2006 April 05, 15:58:01
Where is the Be Restocker option?  And how does this affect employee breaks?  Do business owners still have to tell employees to take a break and they're just coming back quickly or the employees take the break when they need it automatically?
66  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Would you download a hack from a modder who says stuff like this? on: 2006 April 03, 18:47:55
Without any more details from the user such as an error log or her statement as to the error being reproducible in a number of different situations, it can be difficult for a modder to try to figure out a resolution.  I saw that post because I'm one of Christianlov's fans and I read his threads all the time but when I saw it, I felt the same way Christianlov did.
He is usually an accommodating modder.  Well, take a look for yourself on how many pages that one particular thread is.  He updates his hacks all the time to accommodate people.
I love Christianlov and his creations.
67  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: What's Up With The Fish? on: 2006 April 02, 21:29:43
I took out my Downloads folder and still no fish.  I looked at two different families.  Bought new fish tanks, restocked, and... nothing.  I wonder if those people who lost their fish are by any chance using Gunmod's (or ChocolatePi's) modded light files?
68  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: What's Up With The Fish? on: 2006 April 02, 16:03:51
My fish is invisible!  Anyone figure out the culprit or a workaround?
69  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Broken things in employee management on: 2006 April 02, 15:34:40
Oooh, I can't wait to see Business Runs You.  I'll definitely be running for it when it comes out.
70  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Broken things in employee management on: 2006 April 01, 19:55:00
Other than the ineffective break, which JM is working on a control,  *Dancing wildly*, and the supposed unbreakable "employees making many", there are other things that seem to be broken in the employee management department.

I found that if you assign a server at a restaurant business, you (the owner) lose all the interation options other than two, one is "be seated" and I forget the other one but it has something to do with being served. You can't change wages, tell to take a break, assign to another job, etc... So I have to assign them to a register through the register, to "break" it.

Another issue is that the employee that you assign to restock seem to have problem to restock crafted items. So far I only played bakery where the owners made many cakes in her inventory, but the restocker employee wouldn't be able to restock those, a message pops up saying that there is no more in the owner' inventory, but the owner has them. I have to get the owners to restock those items.

Anyone else is having the same problems?
I'm really getting annoyed with the server problem.  My server has actually not been taking care of the customers.  So I try to assign her another job but of course, there are no options on her.
Does JM's lot debugger with its all new awesomeness fix this, you think?
71  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Can't change townies clothes - yes, that again on: 2006 March 17, 01:50:08
Or you can use Christianlov's Clothing Boutique Rack.  Works great with all EP's.  You don't have to mess with changing them into family members then back to townies.  Search for it at MTS2.
72  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Hey! "Tell secret" works now! on: 2006 March 09, 00:07:15
It always dropped out of queue for me before SOB, err, I mean, OFB. The first time I opened up a lot with kids post-OFB install, I saw 2 girl telling secrets to each other.  I was mighty pleased...
73  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: "boolprop" Phobia on: 2006 March 09, 00:04:39
It couldn't hurt. If you get errors then it could be a hack or object or even poorly designed Maxis 'feature' (aka a bug). If however you turn debug mode on and get no messages, it could be some high poly objects or something else entirely.

At any rate, it's certainly worth a try. I would do it if it were me.

Okay, I'm not afraid of the boolprop cheat, heck, I've even shortened it up in my startup file but, my game is soooooo darn slow when it's on.  I don't get any error messages so you're saying that it's mainly because of high poly objects?  And the stopping and the sputtering and the jerking but no error messages, that's high poly?  Wow, I never knew that.
74  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Townies and the notownieregen hack for OFB on: 2006 March 05, 04:16:46
OFB definitely added more townies not to mention the families that came with Bluewater Village, the default shopping district.  I detest townies, too, but I'm resigned to the fact that I'll have to wait for the new SimPe to change skintones and/or use Christianlov's clothing boutique rack.
75  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Managers and the salon chair on: 2006 March 05, 04:05:12
Turns out, my restaurant situation is caused by not having enough chairs around the table.  I had only 2 instead of 4 so sims were confused with the blank space, go figure!
I took out all my hacks to see if my Florence problem is still there.  Sure enough, she cannot get a makeover.  Oh, well.
