Are you sure that the custom hair that you have is complete for all ages? Many use default maxis hair for toddler & child and then have the sim 'grow into' the custom one.

They get all red & splotchy. If they are hot for too long they pass out and can die unless another sim throws water on them.

EDIT: It makes it very difficult to play an extreme legacy challenge in the desert.

I installed the patch with no problems but now my userstartup cheats file doesn't seem to be working. Anyone else have this issue?

Has anyone else noticed their streakers wearing coats? I recently saw some random sim at uni running around waving his hands in the air - it took me a few minutes to realise he ought to be nekkid.

Yes this happens to me but with no real rhyme or reason. It seems to default to the next Maxis hair in the list after their hair.

Sorry, no idea what causes it or how to fix it.

I pause just as they finish the placing and put their hands over their heart...then go into buy mode and delete the offending object.

For me there is a bit of a lag between the sim collapsing due to freezing and another sim being able to hair dryer them. Perhaps you clicked too soon? This only seems to happen with the cold weather as I can direct another to throw water on an overheated sim straight away.

Or you could use Merola's Mind Control Mirror to make them selectable and then direct them to work out.

HolySimoly fridges have not been updated for Seasons.

Try the "moveobjects on" cheat and then go into buy mode and delete the penguin.

@ nesschap - the items themselves are available from TLS as linked to by Sleepycat. If you want the codes then try morriganrane's suggestions of running through combinations of two letters followed by 'seayur'.

@ cwykes - have you been able to successfully d/load the items yet? If not pm me as I got them a few days ago with no problems.

I thought that the skunk, LotP wolf & penguin were created automatically if you have Pets & Seasons - whether you wanted them to or  not.

How do you sell the produce? Do you sell the items piece by piece or can you sell them in bulk?

Could sims be prevented from autonomous snowman building as a way of dealing with the temperature issue?

Yep, first round of betas and those you have released as completed 02, 25 & 27 (with the betas for those removed). It's great you have a couple more to try out. I can deal with the teen males - everyone tends to go through a 'plain' stage at some point in their lives and it is nice to see them grow into their features when they get older.


Well Nailati's will be the best set of realistic templates when they are complete but not all the sims will be conventionally 'beautiful' which may not suit all simmers.

One set of templates is all that is needed - so delete the one that is not in ...My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads. 

Also, deleting the CASThumbnail.package is all that you should need to do. If that doesn't work, check your graphics settings and try again. If it still doesn't work then ctrl-right click on the face in CAS to get the thumbnail to regenerate.
