OOOOkay! From that same thread: Just wanted to pop in and say thank you Pescado for such a great mod. I used just about all of your modification for the Sims 2. When I heard of the Awesome mod, it was an immediate download. You always address some of the most annoying things about the Sims games. Also want to thank all of you who provide needed help to those of us who have questions and difficulty getting things to work. The information you provide is most appreciated. Like the NoCd info above. I was just about to ask how you get that feature to work.  The NoCD will work if you load from the base .exe found iiiiiin..
Program Files/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Game/Bin
Launcher won't let you use the NoCD, I only really load up the launcher for downloaded content etc.
I may be in for an Epic Phail, but I can't see how your quoting the description helps with my post. |

I searched for NoCD and did not find it in this thread... I only get the startup CTD when I try to use the NoCD (launching from the TS3.exe instead of the launcher as advised) - of course, if I use the Launcher, I can't use the NoCD, but then my game loads fine with the Awesome Mod.  |

There are reports that with FT there are a greater number of annoying Mascots running around harassing sims in the Uni Hoods... with no option/way to get back at them; is there any way this can be made More Shiny to take care of that?

I printed out the RTFM and there are 2.25 pages of information... on the lot I need this to work, I get 10 options (using the oldest sim, an adult) instead of the advertised 29. I have all the expansions and stuff packs - I downloaded the latest version from http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/ffs/pets/hacks/ and downloaded The Director's Cut for Pets, (same file edited on 12/07/06 @ 1:30 pm). What have I done wrong? My son has visitors stuck on his (downloaded) lot that just walk around in circles... any ideas on how to fix this, or get the other 19 options to show up? |

I can't seem to find the "Lot-sync timer" here: http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/ffs/ofb/hacks/ maybe I'm just too tired (or too blind). For a while I've had a contrary opinion that I'm going to make public now: not *all* BlueSoups suck! Thank you, BlueSoup for your reply. [edited to fix typo] [edited again to add] Can't even find it in the Mar 22 edition of the MoreAwesomeThanYou zip! ...day 8 of 10 day stretch at work (plus overtime) - tired/brain-dead... be kind, please! |

*kicks DMDye* At least, you did *not* get my tushy! I'm glad it was your video card - and not actually something the game did! Sorry it's going to take you a couple of weeks to get a replacement, but at least it won't cost you anything. |

I'm sorry you are having a rough time... this is a prime example of the old internet joke... Do like Jesus and , *save*! As soon as you get a 'milestone' or anything worth saving.
I believe the Headmaster can be called on consecutively (every day) until he allows your kids into the Private School.
