101  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Looking for something useful on: 2006 March 22, 07:49:18
I don't think Sim File Maid2 is made for programs like DatGen... just for 'normal' TS2 downloads like houses, skins, objects and similar stuff.

Yes! I agree - it gets kind of frustrating, the amount of time (at least triple the download time) you spend cleaning your downloads with the: Clean Installer, Sim PE, and Jfade's Hack Cleaner! The funny thing, is they *all* find different things as dupicates!

After using all 3, my OFB seems to be surviving; so I won't knock them. I spend lots of time on my game (before play time) -  but it seems to be stable.
I installed OFB without removing *anything* (like CC) from my game. As I did the patch.

I will ask where to get DatGen, so I can post a more 'knowledgeable' opinion later.

But, but... will he be able to carry his baby to term; being a Zombie?
103  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: ... Isn't the damned patch supposed to FIX THINGS? on: 2006 March 22, 07:29:52
Let me see if I can understand this: You type "crtl + shift + c" and you can type whatever you want in the Cheat box that pops up (and the cheat works)...  but you cannot close it?

Or, can you bring the Cheat Window up using "crtl + shift + c" and then do *nothing* with it?

OMG, JM!! You seem to have intimate knowlege of ever being or having:  PMS, Depression, Anemia, Pregnancy or sick with with the Flu!

Care to enlighten us?!?!?!
106  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Help Decide JMP's Fate ... on: 2006 March 22, 06:04:08
It depends if you want to torture him or not.

If not: Options 1, 2, 3.

If yes: Options: 3, 2, 1!

I have a soft spot for JM, grouchy and all (after all, he is *More Awesome*) - so I would go with 1.

LOL, I voted! Sorry, JM, this one is winning:

If you 'spoil' a face, you can always choose another 'free makeover', after a couple of 'free' makeovers you get to choose... if you choose a Whole Face Mask, and then Unselect it, the Sim goes back to his/her original look. I did this a couple of weeks ago, but had a 10-day-work-week after that...  and now I'm getting sick! I'm sure it's *at least* pretty close to this to fix things - maybe this weekend I can double-check for you; or look up something of the sort elsewhere.
108  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: OFB Patch Link on: 2006 March 22, 05:46:38
I think I read gripes about the patch being 17.7 MB at N99, which makes me believe it is prety self-contained... like I said - I did not even have the CD in the drive; the Update *did not ask me for it*, and it installed without a problem!
109  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: ... Isn't the damned patch supposed to FIX THINGS? on: 2006 March 22, 05:38:34
Have you tried typing "exit" in the Cheat window to close it?

[eta] BlueSoup, you beat me to it!
110  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: CONFESS! How many of you pay for downloads? on: 2006 March 22, 05:34:06
I pay for EZ Supporter at N99, and the subscription fee here. I always intend to join other places, but I tend to waste my money on skin-care stuff and make-up (I'm an Avon sucker), leaving me no discretionary income for the subscription sites  Huh   Mind you, I buy skin-care stuff and make-up... but use the skin stuff rarely and the makeup *never*!   Roll Eyes

It could always be worse, I could not use it; and let my H waste it on whatever he wishes.  Grin

Computers are notorious for giving problems at year 3 or whenever the warranty runs out, if it is before then...
I'd love to hear what Tech Support says tomorrow, maybe the game is not to blame after all!
112  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: OFB Patch Link on: 2006 March 22, 04:59:07
I installed the patch and I did *not* have the OFB CD in the drive.... I did not know it at the time, but; Oh, well!
It downloaded and installed without a hitch!
113  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Let me be the first on: 2006 March 22, 04:42:03
So this was really 'self-inflicted'?!?!?  If it wasn't so much work to restore (time consuming/ a PITA), it would be kind of funny in a twisted sort of way.

JM: are you *sure* you can't find a way to legally shoot him? (Maybe check the laws in his 'nick of the woods)
114  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / New sync-timer (OFB)... must we "remove" the previous one? on: 2006 March 03, 05:30:02
Or can we just install 'over the top'?
Must we uninstall with all the interesting tid-bits that come with uninstalling it?
115  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: HACK RATING SYSTEM on: 2006 March 03, 05:26:59
This idea merits a "You can't argue with perfection!", if implemented.
116  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Lot Sync Timer: All BlueSoups Suck Edition on: 2006 February 15, 06:12:27
In this one, RTFM is *not quite enough*. (Sorry, JM! - and you *know* I loves 'ya!) IMHO, everyone who downloads this, should read the thread.
(Shall I post in the "whine" thread? - I've *never* gotten cheese.)
117  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: What was the Hack for adding want slots? on: 2005 November 27, 05:10:12
Thank you!

Which of them work for NL?
118  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / What was the Hack for adding want slots? on: 2005 November 27, 04:55:50
Where is it? And is it safe or updated for NL?
