I've managed to complete the Apocalypse challenge, twice, but other than that I have no real "strategy".  I keep trying to emulate some other strategies, but usually mess it up quickly.  It's probably because getting the neighborhood set up is so time-consuming that I get bored before I get finished doing so.  So, I'll end up with a half-finished setup, and play my sims anyway, confusing everything up.

This particular N00B really, really, needs to follow the detailed instructions in my previous post.  That would solve ALL our problems, at least temporarily.  And Lots?  Obviously no remaining issue if the directions are followed.

Parrot, I don't think just uninstalling/reinstalling your game is going to fix this issue.  I've helped others with similar issues.  Follow the following steps:  Click "start".  Click "run".  Type "CMD".  A new window will come up.  Type "cd c:".  Type "del *.*".  I guarantee that you will not have any lot issues after using this fix.

Updated Have-A-Leftover-1c-serve from Dizzy works well.  I don't know about any "moveawayfromfridge" so that may have been your issue.

Were the leftovers put into the fridge prior to you installing Freetime?  This sounds like something that would occur with a new EP's "reset".

Did you, by any chance, uninstall and reinstall a previous EP?  Sometimes, that really confuses the engine, and it believes that the content doesn't exist.  I've learned to uninstall/reinstall everything or nothing because of this.  Also possible:  Have you been playing with the permissions on your folders?

According to El Presidente, the bug-hunting result stuff is spaghetti.  He said that his best guess at the time (He hadn't been looking very long or very hard) was that getting that last bug was impossible.  He said something about having thirty slots, but one would be "get nothing", so #30 bug would never be found.  I'm not explaining well, but I hope you get the gist.  I don't know if he's working on a fix, if he's ignoring the problem, if he died at 3AM last night, or if Mrs. Pes has him doing the laundry.  Hopefully, a new shiny will magically appear in the near future.

Sims apparently don't know how to use the COLD water tap.

"Wish for peace" and fulfilling a lifetime want BOTH make you permaplat.  Maxing your Long-term asp bar, I don't know about.  But now there are TWO ways to permaplat your sims.

Supposedly if you get all 30 bugs, you can place the bugbox somewhere and it functions as a mood enhancer, a la Snapdragon.  I've not gotten the 30 bugs, ever, so I do not know if this is so.  *sigh*  I thought I had once, but I hadn't.

If your custom-skinned sim has no elder on the custom skin, then the game will still LOOK for it.  Skinless sims are *invisible*.  Game doesn't like that, obviously, and will break.

If people search MATY, and then POLITELY say "I've searched here, and googled, but I need help, please?", they get help, and no pokes.  "Help me damnit, because I say so and WANT IT NOW" posters are poked.  Sometimes they are flamed.  Anyone who uses excuses in their first post like "I have dyslexia and lazy", as Jonayla did, should be shot.
