76  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Game hung - need help understanding error log on: 2007 July 16, 02:35:50
I was just playing a house that I've always played (nothing changed) all of a sudden the game hung and I turned on testing cheats to capture the error log but I don't understand what the problem is. The error states Simwardrobe-Boost Mood Controller...Smart Milk Controller, however I don't have anything from Simwardrobe dealing with mood boosts or smart milk. Can someone help me to understand the error log before I go posting on Simwardrobe that a hack is causing a problem? Thanks.

The jobs are actually generated the moment you check for the first time in the day, so if you save before you look, you'll get a different list every time.

Now you tell me! I've waited a half a sim's lifetime before the job I wanted showed up in the paper/computer.

Thank you.
80  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Removing roof with more than one building on lot on: 2007 March 15, 20:49:20
I didn't break it, but does someone know how to remove a roof from one building structure when there are multiple on the lot?
When I try the remove roof option, it removes the roof from all the buildings and that is not what I want.  Huh

thanks

If I have a child with a 'D' but the others has A's and C's, then the social worker shouldn't come right?
I'm getting pop ups saying the child isn't doing well in school and could be taken away. So are these just
mere threats?
(this is with the old ss hack, haven't tried this shiny yet)

I would like to see a no pranks hack, or at least an updated one. My sims are pranking each other all over the neighborhood left and right again.
84  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Empty and Cleaned-up Templates. [UPDATED] on: 2007 March 07, 10:07:23
Does anyone know anything about this, G001_Suburb002 file? It gets added to the G001 neighborhood folder when you install Seasons. It has nothing but Unknown sims with Family names.
85  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Seasons: Plant sims on: 2007 March 07, 07:50:00
I got jfade's hack to prevent the Maxis horror.

What hack?

I've use Enayla's default plant sim replacements. The only thing is that it makes Rose's eyes blue, without the default skin they are brown.

There is another place where you have to change the #of babies count from 2 to 0, I believe.

I just installed the Insim. Obj. (removing all other hacks) and used the Reproductive Adjustor to get rid of the pregnancy. She reverted to a none-pregnancy state right away and I was able to get her pregnant again the same day. I uninstalled the Insim. obj. when I was done. It was simple and done in 1 minute.

She gave birth to twins (thanks to TwoJeff's Mutlti-birth hack) and the father is who it should be.

I had the same problem with the current release version. I downloaded the latest QA version of SimPE and was able to edit the neighborhood memory file just fine. She still waddled and other Sims still had the "rub belly" options but I had her get knocked up again and she was reset back to the invisible pregnancy state.

Where did you get the QA (Seasons) version of SimPE? Site says I have to be a member of the QA program in order to download it.

I really, really don't want to download inseminator to fix Sam's pregnancy.

Me either and SimPe won't let me open up the neighborhood memory browser to delete the pregancy token, etc.

- What happens if you let the twins be born but never have them reproduce, is this still bad for the game?
Allowing them to be born will already do the damage due to their corrupted pregnancy token, yes.

- Can I kill them off once they reach childhood, and continue to play the rest of the family?
See above.

- Can I get rid of the pregnancy all together with SimPE or someother program (not the Kitten/Puppy kliler) so she never gives birth?
Yes, if they haven't given birth, you can abort the pregnancy and they should be clean from there.

Thanks.

Don't want to go through the process of fixing the character files, so...

- What happens if you let the twins be born but never have them reproduce, is this still bad for the game?

- Can I kill them off once they reach childhood, and continue to play the rest of the family?

- Can I get rid of the pregnancy all together with SimPE or someother program (not the Kitten/Puppy kliler) so she never gives birth?

- If I can't do any of the above and have to move them back to the sim bin, does it matter that they've already interacted with other sims?

thanks

I hope someone can find a solution for this quickly. I've played that family the most so far, they are my farming-country bumpkins. I put some animals in the barn and had big plans for them.

93  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Odd things I noticed about Seasons on: 2007 March 02, 21:29:36
Is there a way to fix this before she gives birth?

I noticed a very odd problem with the Ottomas family (from the bin).  The mother Samantha was already pregnant and gave birth to twins.  They're not related to their father.  Their "father" is Patricia Wan (O'Mackey -- she married Gabe), who Samantha has not even met.  Shocked   While amusing, it seems to be a serious glitch, possibly a VBT.

On the BBS people have been posting that the 'father' of Sam's babies have been Ariel - a dog!

Oh crud! I just finished playing the Ottomas up to about 4 hours before Sam's due to give birth to those twins. I do not want a screwed up family tree!  Angry I should be able to use SimPE (once it's updated) to get rid of this screwed up pregnancy, then get her pregnant again by her husband to correct the problem right?

To stop this disgusting behavior, download this file and use it to replace the one in C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Seasons\TSData\Res\NeighborhoodTemplate\G002

Download: http://www.box.net/public/d6j78gvmxk

Then open the Characters folder in the same location, and delete everything inside it. Delete the Thumbnails file, too

But if I already installed and played Seasons, then it is not a good idea to delete the characters in the TSData\Res folder, correct?
95  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Odd things I noticed about Seasons on: 2007 March 01, 20:58:54
Not a negative but just wondering, why does McGreggor (single guy) have a barn on his lot that is made for animals with holding spots and everything? Did they plan to include animals in this pack or will this be coming later?
96  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Seasons: What mods are you already begging for? on: 2007 March 01, 20:52:21
I would like to see a moded version of the a plant-sim, where they have an aversion to water like a gremlin, and a mermaid variation where they have to stay in contact with water all the time or they die within 2 sim hours or something.

... thanks Sara, some lots were aging at 6pm, others weren't, but I didn't let it run through to another day. Everyone is aging fine.

Sims in new hood RiverBlossom Hills are not aging. I took out all hacks & custom content. Anyone else having this problem? I've tried everything to see where the problem is coming from to no avail.

99  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Seasons - custom content that doesn't work properly on: 2007 March 01, 13:30:49
I have all my custom skins (by Enayla), including defaults by Louis07 and everything seems to be working okay. Haven't tested sunburn state though.
I have a fat bodytype by melodie9 that I have to try as well.
100  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: censor.package and userstartupcheat on: 2007 March 01, 11:32:20
There is a userstartup in the Config folder after installing Seasons. When the game installs it overwrites the one currently present with a new one. I changed it with another file by mistake and I wanted the original back.
