26  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Customer Selector v2: Hobbsee STILL has a scrawny pencil neck! on: 2008 July 31, 00:14:48
Please someone explain what I am doing wrong...I keep having vacation townies show up on my lots everytime I put a selecter down. Whether I leave the settings on default or change them, they keep coming. Huh
27  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Base hood University: Lion's Uni-GoldRecord and Unitest (Based on Argon's) on: 2008 July 20, 02:10:49
I will ask this question here instead of starting another thread,

Can the semester tester be used on adults in a regular neighborhood to simulate them going to school/back to college?
28  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: FFS "Batbox" Lot Debugger v2.0: NUCLEAR WAR EDITION on: 2008 June 27, 22:28:52
What am I doing wrong with the perma-plat toggle? My sims remains in the perma-plat state when I try to flip the switch. Does it not work for those obtaining perma-plat by maxing out the FT life/goal bar?
29  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Restorable car not allowed on owned community lot? on: 2008 May 26, 14:36:28
You should be able to place them and save (if this is an owned lot). However, once restored, the car will drive off on it's own. It took a bit of trickery for me to get it to stay on the lot and place it for sale.

On owned business lots, you are supposed to place them on the rotating display-thingy. I'm not sure where it is in Buy mode, so easiest way is to go through collections and choose the OFB collection. Then set for sale like any other merchandise.

It was restored when I transported it to the comm lot. I put it on the car display but didn't price it for sale before leaving the lot. I guess that is why it disappeared?
30  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Restorable car not allowed on owned community lot? on: 2008 May 26, 03:00:14
I had my sim purcahse a comm lot and put the restorable car on the lot (transported via inventory). I left the lot, returned and the car was gone. Are restorable cars not meant to be allowed on owned community lots?

Also, how do I make cars available for purchasing on owned bus lots?
31  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Help: Unknown Wants (BV) on: 2008 May 26, 02:52:05
Have you updated uni_ltws_sns?  That isn't in the DC, so it can be easy to overlook when you're updating your hacks.

Take a look at this thread and this part of the FT Bork List thread.

Yes, of course I saw this thread after I posted...  Roll Eyes   Lips sealed
32  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Help: Unknown Wants (BV) on: 2008 May 26, 00:26:12
I have the same problem, with patched game upto BV (did not install FreeTime patch) and all hacks updated. I havn't figured out what is causing it yet.
33  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Lot Sync Timer skip day function keeps skipping days on: 2008 May 16, 04:36:38
Only once. What I do is pause the game, turn on debug mode, select skip day, turn back off debug and take the game off pause. This was working before and still works with one lot but the others are borked. I've tried uninstalling the timer from the family and buying a new one, even moving them out bulldozing the lot and moving them to another but it still doesn't work properly. I was trying to see if it was anything special or different I was doing like turning aging on/off, playing the family through a day, then trying to skip but no combination seems to trigger it to work again.  Huh
34  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Lot Sync Timer skip day function keeps skipping days on: 2008 May 16, 00:37:53
I have been using the skip day function on the lot sync timer and lately it stop working properly. Now instead of skipping one day and stopping it just keeps skipping the days, seasons, and aging sims in the process. Did I break something inadvertently? I made sure I have the newest version.
35  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Big Foot Hair and Beard taking my cc over on: 2008 April 12, 03:36:38
The bigfoot hair overwrites one file for Compulsive D's dreads - that I know for sure.

Which file exactly? I have been trying to track this down with no luck.
36  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bork List: Freetime Ed. on: 2008 March 18, 00:56:44
Ahah, by golly I think that's it. Lightening did strike a tree on the lot recently.  Wink
I thought it was a pretty cool glitch though.
37  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bork List: Freetime Ed. on: 2008 March 18, 00:37:03
Thanks Emma, I will try that! I knew about the simwardrobe fix, but wanted to know if an awesome fix was available.

----

Don't know if this qualifies but I recently noticed if I have a sim sleep outdoors in a bed, they will not stay asleep but instead wake up with a fire icon in their thought bubble. Like they are afraid they will catch on fire by sleeping outdoors. Is this something introduced by FT, some other EP or is it borked?
38  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bork List: Freetime Ed. on: 2008 March 17, 23:17:17
Sorry if this has been mentioned but I failed trying to search

Is there an awesome fix for not being able to call NPC's on the phone anymore? NPC's such as the store clerks, newspaper delivery, etc. can not be called on the phone.
39  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bon Voyage Patch #2: Now on thesims2.ea on: 2008 February 28, 03:25:43
thank you...What about the 1st patch?
40  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bon Voyage Patch #2: Now on thesims2.ea on: 2008 February 28, 02:44:01
So what is the verdict, do we install both patches before FreeTime or does it patch automatically?

Sooo...do we have to change the values you indicated AND download the EP specific version of the hack?
thanks

I don't know if this helps but I tested without this hack in the game, I had two teens go steady and then break up, they only got one break-up memory. The break-up memory is the double pink heart with a white "ban" bar over it (if that is what you call it). I will try to get a picture.
I don't recall this happening before BV.

I did keep it in as I didn't think it was doing anything 'bad' per say besides having double memories. The double memory happens all the time (between two adults), it seemed benign, but I didn't look under the covers so I really don't know.

If I take this out, I won't be able to test anything since adults can't go steady without it, right, or am I having a brain fart.   Undecided

Is any one getting duplicate break-up memories with this mod? Whenever I have my going-steady sims break-up, they get two memories of the break-up. They only have one going steady memory though. This is the only mod I have in regards to relationships/break-ups accept for JM's. Could there be a conflict with something, as the hackscanner is not showing anything. I have the version dated, 9_9_07.

thanks
46  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bon Voyage dissatisfaction on: 2007 October 13, 21:08:37
Arggh..(shakes head)...
I thought I noticed something funny with their energy motive going up a little but I thought it was just my eyes.
So I have to "cheat" in order to make the game do something that is common sense, what else is new.  Roll Eyes
47  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bon Voyage dissatisfaction on: 2007 October 13, 18:32:52
I took my sims on vacation (staying at a custom hotel) and their "guests" can not sleep or relax on a single bed. I can only get them to relax on a double bed. My household sims have no problem but how are the guests supposed to go to sleep? I tried the control pets cheat and can direct them to do other things but not sleep in the bed???
Please tell me I'm doing something wrong and not that this is the way it was programmed.   Huh

I'm really starting to believe EA/Maxis, whoever, purposefully leaves things out of their EP's because they know some modder will make a hack for it. Less work for them.

49  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Can I teleport townies into vacation destination? on: 2007 October 06, 21:15:00
I want to fill up a hotel with the townies "I" want instead of the game filling it up with the ugly crew. So,
if I send my sims on vacation can I teleport in townies, make them selectable, have them "reserve" a room and then make them unselectable again?
Will they stay?
50  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: No autonomous gestures - PLEASE! on: 2007 September 30, 17:03:31
I kinda like the gestures, my sim gets up in the morning and on her way to the bathroom she does the chest pound thing. It's cute!

I can understand not wanting it to spread through the hood though, if any of my playable sims learn it without going to three lakes and getting the asp. points I will be slightly miffed. I have Pescado's hack in, so hopefully it won't happen. Wink

Pescado's hack doesn't stop the sims that have been on vacation from doing the gestures in the main hood, thus spreading it to everyone. So I have sims, including townies, that have never been on vacation chest pounding. I could see if sims with a certain personality or in certain situations would chest pound, but for all of them to do it at any given moment of the day is just plain stupid.  Angry
