Vowelless-people annoy me almost, if not more than, number-name-peoples. Unless you're an alien. I wish SMF had regexp username-reservation. Then I could put vowelless-people whose IPs come from Earth, and people who start and end their names with "x" (other than Xerox), on the list of names-not-allowed.
Be forewarned that a massive movement of female bloggers are starting to put thousands of As in front of their names. Example: AAAAAAAmikeAAAAAAA Scary, eh?

yah..... what does that mean extract the file?
What's up with your username. It lacks this certain thing in basic English called VOWELS. I won't even comment on you not knowing how to extract a file. Why do you even have a computer? Does your keyboard lack vowel keys? Amazing.........

TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: OFB Patch Crap

Problem started for me with the OFB patch.
It's purely display by the way: the bar can be completely full and they do get an A+, but it is shown as only one third.
If you set the perfomance bar to full with twojeffs' college adjuster you can see the real level, but unfortunately this fix doesn't stick.
Thanks for pointing these things out, Jordi.

I can't help but wonder why some of you even bother playing TS2 when all you do is bitch about it and maxis/ea
I wonder the same thing. It gets rather annoying how people bash Maxis but still continues to play the Sims 2. You make the biggest hate statement by not buying their product, not posting a useless hate thread.

TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Buying a laptop, advice needed
|

My daughter bought a laptop and we specifically stated we wanted to play games on it and that the graphics card should be good - Intel 915GMA. Intel state that there is no conflict with Sims2 but Maxis don't support it. Although Sims2 runs ok the EPs slow it down until OFB brings it to a full stop. Intel does not make video cards worth shit. In the modern video card market, there are two manufacturers worth mentioning: ATI and NVidia. All else is shit and doesn't count as a video card fit for gaming. I have an Intel graphics card, sadly. If it wasn't for my fast processor, I'd have no way to play.

I see dumb people! They're everywhere, they walk around just like everyone else, they don't even know they're dumb!
Sadly, being dumb is embraced. Smart kids are called nerds and get beat with sticks.

[quote author=Lythdan link=topic=4178.msg117592#msg117592 date=1146783365 Though speaking of elder deaths, has anyone else noticed a random family member always seems to come in uninvited on that day? I've noticed this with both of the recent ones, and I'll have about twelve more to observe shortly I hardly have elder deaths. I don't play with a family for that long.

Just some glitches I encountered while playing today. This one looks Friggin scary. Here is one of the normal looking ones. She's being squished! It looks like she is actually crawling into the bed.

TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: You think you might have a hack/mod conflict? Than check this tool!

*** POSSIBLE CONFLICT DETECTED *** Procedure Name: Sub - Get in T[0] - School Friend Group ID: 0x7FBE051B Instance ID: 0x00002029 Packages Containing This Procedure: \downloads\NL - school bus - bring friend dialog.package \downloads\nofraternization.package
According to a discussion in TwoJeff's forum, this is a legitimate conflict -- using the latest nofrat package keeps the 'want's to bring xxx home from school' dialog from poping up. You can only use one or the other right now. Oh really? I didn't know of this. Once again, I have to choose between Twojeffs and Pescado, and I think I'll go with twojeff's hack.
