1  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Invisi-Cat of Mystery on: 2007 May 04, 21:08:19
Ok, I turned on the cheat again and this time waited for her to disappear.  It doesn't seem to make an error log about it without forcing an error on it.

I tried another thing too, Called adoption services-give up pet. The policeman came again, this time he appeared standing in the middle of the street, and the cop car looked like it ran into him.  Both Jumped (in the style of the old jump bug) he got in his car and left without retreiving the invisi-cat.  For fun I adopted another kitten.  Same thing, now there's two invisi kittens.

Since I can't make an error log on this I'll have to try moving them out Sad
2  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Invisi-Cat of Mystery on: 2007 May 04, 20:38:19
So, I had this family adopt a kitten.  The police arrived and dropped off the cat, who promptly disappeared including her portrait on the gizmo thinger.  I wasn't all that perturbed so I kept playing the family for a while.  Then next time I loaded up the game I noticed the kitten was still in the family portrait on the loading screen.  The kitten appears in the yard and her portrait for about a minute before disappearing again.  So I put on the testcheats and forced an error on the kitten next time before she had a chance to disappear again.  Text log is attached.

So now three generations later this phantom kitten is still appearing for about one minute every time I load this family.  They all have wants about her... I'd like to fix her or delete her.  Whatchayall think of that.
3  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Is anyone else having this much problems with flashing blue accessories in pets? on: 2007 March 24, 16:04:08
I have this problem too like mad.  I have been looking for threads on it but couldn't find any.  Still happens in Seaons for me.
4  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Anyone know of a visitor clothing change hack that works in seasons? on: 2007 March 16, 14:48:10
Ooo good something I haven't tried yet.  I'll let ya know.

It says its incompatible with seasons.  I'll still try it though.

**

It did work in Seasons!  I don't know if there's any other problems besides no option for outerwear, but I don't care, they dress themselves in that anyway.  Thanks alot, now I have an easier way to get party guests out of stupid clothes and into swimwear at poolparties (aside from begging each one to play marco polo!)
5  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Anyone know of a visitor clothing change hack that works in seasons? on: 2007 March 16, 13:51:07
No, but I tried them and they didn't do it.
6  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Anyone know of a visitor clothing change hack that works in seasons? on: 2007 March 16, 13:07:15
I'm looking for something that forces changing into formal/swimwear etc on a residential lot for guests that works with seasons.  I have the lot controller, love it, but apparently the clothing paintings work only on comerical.  I've visited some of the old solutions I tried but they don't work in seasons.
7  TS2: Burnination / The War Room / Re: Accurate recipes of Juices and Juice bugs! on: 2007 March 09, 20:27:47
Maxoid Sam put the "correct recipes" in his stickied note in the seasons forum at the BBS.  He states the prima guide IS wrong, the recipes were changed since the time of its writing.  Most of the recipes he confirms are the same as mine, but they might be identical to the ones reported above.  However he doesn't confirm the serve recipes so I'm going to assume they really are x6 since x4 sure as heck doesn't work for me.
8  TS2: Burnination / The War Room / Re: Accurate recipes of Juices and Juice bugs! on: 2007 March 09, 11:24:24
Oh, I guess that would be easy to try out.  I know cooking skill doesn't matter.
9  TS2: Burnination / The War Room / Re: Accurate recipes of Juices and Juice bugs! on: 2007 March 09, 11:17:22
Other people disagree too, even though I have tried out each recipe adding produce one by one until the option comes up.  It leads me to beleive there might be some unknown variable in that juicemaking or some sort of bug.  I'd love to know why it takes more produce for my sims to make the recipes than others do.
10  TS2: Burnination / The War Room / Re: Accurate recipes of Juices and Juice bugs! on: 2007 March 09, 04:51:51
Those recipes are not right either... Here are the ones I personally confirmed in my own game:

Before slash is a single recipe, after slash is a serve recipe.

Apple Juice- 4 apples / 18 apples
Beauty Cocktail- 2 oranges, 1 cucumber / Could not find a serve recipe
Eggplant- 2 Eggplant / 12 Eggplant
Lemonade- 6 Lemons / 12 Lemons
Orange Juice- 6 Oranges / Could not find a serve recipe (I tried up to 21 oranges!)
Orangeade- 4 Oranges, 2 Lemons / 12 Oranges, 3 Lemons
Pepper Punch- 2 Peppers, 4 beans, 2 apples / Serve recipe not found
Strawberry Juice- 6 Strawberries / 18 Strawberries
Strawberry Lemonade- 3 Lemons, 2 strawberries / 9 Lemons, 6 Strawberries
Tomato Juice- 3 tomatoes / 9 tomatoes
Vegatable Cocktail- 2 tomatoes, 1 cucumber, 1 Pepper, 3 Beans / Serve recipe not found.

Some of them required so much produce I gave up before finding a recipe for serve.
11  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Graphics Card of Suck? No Pond Fish & Snow Cursor on: 2007 March 01, 22:07:10
I didn't either, but that was the only thing I changed before the option became clickable. Tongue
12  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Graphics Card of Suck? No Pond Fish & Snow Cursor on: 2007 March 01, 21:33:34
Actually, turning shaders on fixed this option too I just didn't notice, so problem solved.  Thanks for trying Kralore.
13  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Graphics Card of Suck? No Pond Fish & Snow Cursor on: 2007 March 01, 20:44:56
I have the x1300 video card, and seasons has disabled the button for showing neighbors.  Is there a code for that?
14  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: missing NL content with pets? on: 2006 October 30, 12:34:58
i just loaded pets.  im playing the new family, roselynd or something.   some guy calls up on a random invite for a group outing and i take it.  we arrive at the bowling club and there is no 'date'  meter.  now i only played so much with the date/outings, but im pretty sure there was a datemeter with the outings, and if you did good, then more people called you up for outings.   the only hacks i have running right now are maty.   so... i should have the meter, right?  is anyone else having this problem?  i checked hack compatibility but i could have left an old one in or something.

When they call and ask you out its never a "scored" outing.  There's two kinds.  Try doing the asking and you'll see what I mean.

Would you consider doing a robots break NEVER version?
16  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Sick of razzle! on: 2006 October 20, 09:40:55
razzle is driving me nuts and my copy of pets just arrived today from EA. on the bright side however  I have not experienced a single bug yet  Shocked pets is working perfectly my carpool s including those for the dogs have arrived correctly and brought rover home at the appointed time properly.I am stunned that the major errors are missing this time around for me

Well that's gotta be the dumbest statement ever made.  Don't you know saying things like that is the #1 cause of nuclear disastor??
17  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Is anyone experiencing trouble adopting BABIES-in Pets? on: 2006 October 20, 07:37:43
I have just a few hacks, but they are from all over the place and I know the compatibility of hacks is unknown, so I'm only asking whether or not anyone else has had sims jump out of the interaction when calling adoption agency?  The sim will ring up the agency, yak a bit and then pop out of the interaction, no baby ever appears.  Anyone else seeing this?

Thanks guys!

UPDATE:

Removed all hacks, still have problem.  So I switched to my vanilla version, on a seperate XP log in with nothing in the folder, Sims still jump out of interaction on the phone... Sad  I'll try the spawn townie/NPC thing.

UPDATE:  Spawning NPC's worked.  If anyone else has this occur, that's what you do.  Thanks for the suggestions.
18  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Alright, what to do about mopping the lawn? on: 2006 October 18, 09:35:51
So are there any hacks currently in existance that will end this idiotic need to mop the lawn? I thought it wouldn't be an issue since I've been using the perfect plants thing for months now, but of course that doesn't work anymore.  I refuse to mop the lawn every time the dog has to piss?

I'm more than willing to let the puddles sit on the grass for the maid to get once a day if there's already something out there to stop the weeds....
19  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Better Photo taking on: 2006 July 11, 18:35:43
*taps finger to temple*
I knew I've seen those photos somewhere before.  Sims 2 community!

First off, is possible, adjust your video settings higher, because the quality seems quite low in your avatar pic.
Also, take pictures with walls up!! Try to keep the shot simple and close up instead of trying to take a shot of the whole room.  That's all I do and I get nice pictures too.

How high should I go on the video settings?

As high as your computer will allow.  Even if the game will barely run that way, because you can always set them back for real game play after your pictures have been taken.

21  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Buffets on Community Lots on: 2006 June 26, 21:10:46
I've only tried it on owned community lots.  The sim running the business pays and the customers eat for free.  I have not yet tried it as a visitor to an unowned lot, so I'm intersted in knowing what happens too.
22  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Anyone recognize this mesh? on: 2006 June 26, 16:38:33
YES! high Fives Persephone
  gracias, merci, thank you

Lol, I'd save your enthusiasm until you see them!
23  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Anyone recognize this mesh? on: 2006 June 26, 15:57:24
Ms Maria,
the one I mentioned is a freebie at MTS2. I can't afford pay stuff Cry  I didn't even DL the free one because I don't like the recolors that are available. If some talented person were to make some really adorable recolors I would probably grab them quicker than you could say Jack Spratt. And if Mrntmn wants to PM me too I am not proud either. There were some cute dresses and shorts and bathing suits on that site. Cheesy

I'm going to work on some re-colors for the bubble, but I won't probably wont' be posting them, but if you'd like to examine them for cuteness I'll send them to you.

I feel so dirty, I need more bacon.
25  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Anyone recognize this mesh? on: 2006 June 26, 04:38:11
Uhhh Persephone, it didn't sound like they were rubbing it in.  It sounded like they were inviting you to PM her/him.  Wink

Bluesoup, I have NO idea what you're talking about.  Wink
