I believe the gravitational pull of her nose is slowly sucking in her eyes.  Fascinating.

I'd rather have a popup akshully, my sims never get the time to read the paper.

Grab Buzzler's birth announcer in the Pudding Factory under "Event Notifiers".  Works like a charm.
54  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Core mod Incompatibility with Awesome Mod? on: 2010 April 02, 16:20:10
That's the thing though. They are readily found. In five or six recent threads, even. Just searching for the word "mismatch" gets you that link these days. Hell, if you limit the search to 30 days, this thread and the one I'm talking about comes up.

Only Noone uses teh search box.
Also, the timestamp is from a week ago.  Why hasn't this been formally released?  I am not playing right now, so I don't know jack.  But is there a reason?

@learnwhatever-
Is your game fully patched?

It is a legitimate question.  For someone who does not know the forum well, the test version is nearly impossible to find without reading through every single thread.  Let's face it, people aren't going to do that.  So you are going to get this question again and again and again until the version is either publicly released or readily found links are available.

*Silently walks away

Good, take your tardly tripe with you.
57  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: How To Get AwesomeMOD work with High-End Loft on: 2010 February 03, 02:32:49
OK thanks, so do I have to remove the AwesomeMod Files to play?
Thanks a mill.! Smiley

Personally, I would wait.  Pescado said it would be a few hours.  He is generally very timely about these things.  If you must check out the new stuff and must take out AM (AwesomeMod) in order to do it, then take it out.  Just make sure you start a new hood/game, just as a tester.  I wouldn't risk playing an existing AwesomeModded hood/save game without AM.

See?
Test version...huzzah!
58  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: How To Get AwesomeMOD work with High-End Loft on: 2010 February 03, 02:16:57
Be patient, Pescado is working on it.
59  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomod discussion/questions/helpful tips thread on: 2010 February 02, 16:19:38
Think about what you are asking in relation to where you are.  Lurk more and read the FAQ.

Strange, I've read the FAQ half a dozen times and it mentions nothing about the pay version of Awesomemod.

If you are referring to the thread I am posting in, I was merely trying to avoid creating another thread. Since my question has to do with Awesomemod, and this is the Awesomemod question thread, it seemed well suited.

If I must be enlightened, please do so with much lulz. I am bored at work.

No, I enjoy toying with people.  Now think about your first statement.
60  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomod discussion/questions/helpful tips thread on: 2010 February 02, 15:59:17
Are there large differences (if any) between freeloader AM and PAY PLUS AM? I've seen it mentioned that there were differences.

I'd consider switching to PAY PLUS but 40 bucks a month hurts the pocketbook and I'd like to know what I'm getting.

Think about what you are asking in relation to where you are.  Lurk more and read the FAQ.
61  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomod discussion/questions/helpful tips thread on: 2010 January 26, 23:36:40
Yeah, within a couple of generations, I have to start removing cribs.  It is kind of funny to watch the sims duke it out over who gets the right to breed.
62  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomod discussion/questions/helpful tips thread on: 2010 January 26, 22:33:55
So get your sim a job and have him or her interact with coworkers and bosses that must be spawned.  At this time, AwesomeStory only allows for this type of immigration, otherwise it works with what is already there.  Most people do not want hood spam families.  You are free to not use AwesomeStory or wait to see if/when new features are implemented.
63  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: New World: Milton on: 2010 January 24, 06:19:55
So roughly, how many lots are we talking; since you refuse to provide all the pics, you know, like those of the right side of the road?
64  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: New World: Milton on: 2010 January 24, 05:27:41
Hmmm, are you just scared, or are you really a n00b who comes waltzing in to peddle your wares?  Needs more pictures, preferably of the entire hood.

Who be you?
Do we know you?
Do we like you?
65  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: EA store stuff in *.dbc format - a torrent on: 2010 January 24, 01:37:00
*sigh* We'll have to write a manual. Which Noone will read.

Noone always reads the manuals.  This is how Noone formulates such intelligent questions to which we can respond.
66  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: EA store stuff in *.dbc format - a torrent on: 2010 January 24, 00:24:34
It also needs pictures of the buttons, a mere description will not suffice.

It occurs to me that you must take pride in being a dumbfuck.  There simply can be no other explanation for your idiocy, stupidowl.
69  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod causing red blocks of colour on: 2010 January 12, 04:13:36
I believe Pescado states "driver fail" as the cause, right there in that very thread you linked.  I never saw a reply that stated otherwise, so I would go with "driver fail".
Solution?  "Driver pass"

I vote we don't give a map to the retarded Owl so that it ends up in GetFuckedistan instead.
71  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Changing files in the patch on: 2010 January 11, 23:09:57
Well you did not get very far.

http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,17746.0.html

Anach's method, if followed exactly, will work for installing store content acquired through whatever means, in .package form.  Read the thread, follow the directions, download the appropriate tools from the links given.

El Cheapo is always cheap.  You get what you pay for.  Besides, I hear Kofistan is a swell place.
73  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Broken Mood Meter on: 2010 January 11, 16:01:50
I think you're special, cause AFAIK you're supposed to put your mods into the last EP's directory and NOT in the base game's dir.

Tell that to the numerous people who have all their mods installed in ye olde place, myself included.  In my case, only the .dll was needed in the WA game/bin.
You had best make sure you have all the facts before you go spouting off, or word your advice to read as being opinion only.

Are you using any other mods?  Or were you?
This does sound special, as I would expect others to be complaining.  Perhaps your pants are tight?
74  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: I'm Just Not Awesome Enough ... I Need Help, Please on: 2010 January 09, 22:59:13
If you are sure your framework is correct, then I would start by removing all of your mods and CC except for a fresh AwesomeMod (move all of it to a file on your desktop for now).  Make sure you have downloaded the most current version (in other words, download it right now).  Configure your AM as you see fit, generate the file.  Place both files in their proper place (see framework instructions if you are not sure.  Screw the Monkey, you will learn more if you do it yourself and will always be able to find the things you have placed in your game).  Delete your scriptcache.  Start a new hood (old hoods can become corrupt from borked mods, conflicts, and mod removal).  Check to see if AM is working.  If it is, great.  You can start adding your CC back.  Then add other tuning mods.  Stay away from other core mods, check the sources of any and all mods you might be using for any updates, compatibility issues, or comments from other users addressing any problems they might have found.
If it doesn't work, go back and manually make sure your framework is installed properly as per the instructions here.  If everything is correct and things are still not working, beat your harddrive with a hammer OR do the uninstall/reinstall dance.

Unfortunately, I can not peek into your files, so I have no real idea of what you (or any other person) may have done to them.  But if you approach the situation methodically and logically, you'll get things working again.  I can not stress the importance of making your eyes bleed, though, both here, and the other places where you download your content.  Read, then read again.  Any time after a new patch or an expansion pack, go back and check your CC/mod sources for possible newly-discovered issues BEFORE you start up your game.  Always make back-ups of saved games, as well. This might seem basic and "duh"-worthy information, but you would be surprised by how many people fuck themselves because they just don't bother to take the time to think.  Good luck.
75  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: I'm Just Not Awesome Enough ... I Need Help, Please on: 2010 January 09, 21:16:15
I have done some bleeding over there. But, I will continue.

My advice:

I believe whoever created the sliders over at MTS2 addresses the core mod issue in detail, even pertaining to and referencing the use of AwesomeMod.

You also failed to mention whether you are using the latest patch.  Are you playing WA?  If so, you need to make slight modifications to get your CC to show up.  Was your CC in .package form or Sims3pack form?  You need to provide a little more info than, "is not working, halp!"  Then the help desk can point you in the right direction.
