Snowbawl what is your problem? I've just added my first name. Go find something else to do. Go sit in a corner and indulge in your "smartness". To bad that its only smartness of your mouth though. @Jesslla Thankyou Oh how fucking cute. Because you need your first name for AwesomeMod to work right?

I uninstalled my FAT AND OUTRAGEOUS HEAD
That was meant for Bluesoup, although if your head is also fat and outrageous by all means go ahead and uninstall yours too. Should we assume the condition is catching? STAY AWAY! I do not wish my head to be fat and outrageous.

So the game crashes over and over, and Event Viewer gives me this nice message that:
Currentgame.sims3\traveldb.package in the hash map cannot be updated properly because a "device attached to the system is not functioning".
Usually if I look into the current game folder (obviously when the game is not running), it is always empty. Now it is full of crap. Is anyone familiar with this message/error and know how to remedy?

Blah blah blah edit edit edit.
I'm positive that this is a MAC issue and not a FOJ issue....
And then I go on and on...but I don't because it's incredibly obvious and boring.
What the fuck is this horseshit? Do you have a problem? Yes? Then post. No? Then fuck off. Are you cleverly trying to reply to another's post? Then quote it. Better yet, just fuck off anyway.

Hey, I appreciate all the work being put into the update, thanks Pescado. I havn't been able to read through this whole thread, and I'm sorry if it has been adressed, but is there any guestimate avaliable for when the new AM would be out? I foolishly thought that it was avaliable for Ambitions, but I didn't realize that it was only for the retail, and that there was an update since then. Fairly quick patch...geesh...but I digress. So I'm just waiting for the new AM to be out so I can jump back into my Sims. I already got a SimBot, and I wanna color that shit up lol.
Man, you're annoying. Here's a hint: Routinely check the date of the file and what it says in the official AM download thread and stop being such a pain. This is the "test" thread, not the "waaah, when can I have?" thread. Here, I will provide the retarded ninja's standard replies. Take your pick: Go fuck yourselfs, shit. And while your at it, try being fucking wrong for once, it might make you a little more human. Jackasses. or Wow, someone has a dick shoved up their bum. Chill out dick.

No, for the truly lazy, copypasta the .dll into the Ambitions/game/bin and leave everything else in Ye Olde Place.
Framework and Mods stay in base game file, .dll gets copied into EP/SP game/bins. I start the game from the base game shortcut which points to the .exe, not the launcher. AM insures I do not need a disc to play and this also serves as my test to see if everything is working (correctly or otherwise) after I patch or install an expansion.
Never have I once had a problem. I see no reason to change.

Claeric- I have noticed that too. The amount of time it takes for my CC to actualy show up in the game is VERY LITTLE to none and gameplay is fast and wonderful. Its very quick and looks beautiful in game- but shoud I be waiting 7 minutes to play my neighborhood? I think that is just a ridiculous amount of time.
What is this horseshit? Back in my day we had the "well hell, might as well make myself a sandwich...eternal damnation! Out of mayonnaise. Best run to the store and- MARY SUE! Is that you? Haven't seen you in ages! Sure, I'd love to get a cocktail and catch up. Who is that scrumptious boy at the end of the bar? I should probably chat him up and what's that? Bar close? After hours party at my place where- hey look, the game is rereREticulating its splines, we're halfway there!" load times of TS2. AND WE LIKED IT! Get off mah lawn, damn kids.

Would you kindly shut the fuck up, crackbaby? For two days now you have posted your rampant, unabetted drivel all over this board. Your play-by-play commentary citing your expansion pack experience is tedious at best.
Yes, as opposed to everyfuckingbody else who is commenting on their Ambitions experience non-stop. God forbid anyone discuss a Sims game in the Sims section of a Sims mod site. I have not noticed this "everyfuckingbody else" person repeatedly posting over and over and over, again and again. I will be on the look out, though. Yes, yes, Claeric, YOUR stupid shit, we get it.
