51  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: things are so much harder after OFB! on: 2007 January 08, 10:21:20
He's fixed it so I can't change my avatar. That suits me just fine. Tongue
52  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: things are so much harder after OFB! on: 2007 January 08, 06:57:39
Ah well, I didn't want to change it anyway. Cheesy
53  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: things are so much harder after OFB! on: 2007 January 07, 21:03:28
I remember when I first started using the avatar he said he'd lecture me if I changed it. Tongue
54  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: things are so much harder after OFB! on: 2007 January 07, 13:31:17
No. I guess not. What happens if I change my avatar? Tongue Not that it would make much difference to you...
55  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: things are so much harder after OFB! on: 2007 January 07, 13:22:38
I've had the graphical error with the Uni bar too, but that was only one sim, and I don't use no-cd cracks.

OFB changes nothing about telephones or conversation. Perhaps your sims have lost all their interests in an unrelated issue and are now pulling Lythdans.

You just won't let that go, will you? Tongue
56  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Just something I've always wondered about the fingerprint scanner... on: 2007 January 07, 11:26:27
If the object has never been used, it usually just throws up someone random from the hood. It could be someone who's long dead, or a townie.
57  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Userstartup cheat file on: 2007 January 07, 11:08:48
Here in Australia if you tried to drive on the right you'd not get very far, so from my perspective it's wrong.

Indeed. If you tried to drive on the right, you'd end up being smashed by someone going the other way. Although I never spend enough time in neighbourhood view to bother changing my userstartup cheat file. I don't even notice it.
58  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Floating Simkids on: 2006 November 23, 10:27:21
- it appears to happen only when the kid is interacting with an adult -

I've had it when they've been talking to other kids. I once had it when both kids were floating. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture.
59  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Floating Simkids on: 2006 November 23, 05:03:30
Yeah, mine are just when they're chatting with someone. They're still kids with kid interactions though.
60  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Floating Simkids on: 2006 November 22, 20:57:21
Ever since getting Pets, my simkids have recieved a magical power.  Roll Eyes When one of my sim kids interacts with another sim, old or young, doesn't matter, they tend to randomly float.

Anyone else having this problem?
61  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: no instant love more like no love EVER! on: 2006 November 21, 12:02:34
I used to use noinstantlove, but decided that it took too long... Undecided I did get to see some rather funny rejected couch makeout scenes while I was using it though. Cheesy The boy was in love with the girl and tried to makeout on the couch with her, but she didn't even have a crush on him, and kicked him in the stomach. Wink Resulted in a very funny set of pics.
62  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: NL bug with pets? on: 2006 November 20, 21:28:37
I think you're meant to wait until the taxi shows up, at least, that's what I do...and if it doesn't show up after a few minutes, I take the car and then every proceeds like it's supposed to.
63  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Lot Debugger and Macrotastics box - recolorable? on: 2006 November 20, 21:23:17
I usually keep them in a corner of the lot, next to the clothing tool and energizer. I tend to forget about the Lot Debugger/Clothing tool if I stick them in the foundation...
64  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Is this safe on: 2006 November 12, 11:41:38
hehe, the poor thing! Cheesy
65  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Zombie Cat? on: 2006 October 18, 21:57:28
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought you could ressurect sims that died of old age, but they just got shunted back to the start of the lifestage?
66  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: First Major Bug found with Pets on: 2006 October 18, 11:43:37
I guess this is the advantage of living in Australia where it's not freaking released yet!

Yup! We get to hear of all the bugs before we have to deal with them ourselves. Cheesy

*Lythdan slaps self

It's actually my mind's that broken, not anything of yours. Tongue I swear up and down that they were engaged...but apparently not. I checked their memories even. Those sims have better memories than me, apparently, because they were never engaged. I remembered building a flowerbed for the engagement shots...just never got round to the actually engagement bit. >.< Well, they certainly aren't going to get engaged now. Tongue I just love when my sims take their lives into their own hands. Cheesy

Heh, thanks for this. I have an rather old version (is bad about updating hacks) but a few days ago, one of my sims asked another sim to go steady with her, except the other sim was already engaged...and he accepted. (And his fiancee was in the same room...>.<) Would this bollock things up? I haven't cycled through his house yet. Would this have been fixed in a newer version? (Should really update her hacks more often)

*downloads the newest one*
69  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: i have a virgin goat i'll be willing to sacrifice for your help on: 2006 October 15, 12:03:20
You may as well just keep the virgin goat, Ness. Tongue
70  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Help w/ CC install... on: 2006 October 14, 01:12:39

*UPDATE*

I have Uni installed and I now have lipgloss!!!!!!  Let's see how things go after NL!

*2nd UPDATE*

I have NL installed and now sub-folders work!  Thanks for all the help guys!

Now I'm off to poke around the rest of the site!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I though that clothes and genetics couldn't go into subfolders before NL?
71  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: How do you manage your downloads? on: 2006 October 13, 14:59:06
Now I think back...I think that's what might have happened to me...
72  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: How do you manage your downloads? on: 2006 October 13, 14:49:33
I had the 'head being covered with digits' problem before, but that was due to a custom skin I was checking out. Needless to say I didn't use it. Tongue
73  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Maternity wear... argh! on: 2006 October 13, 14:47:27
It's not the difficulty that's the problem, it's the annoyingness.  I don't like wasting my Sims money on an object that provides only the cosmetic change of changing clothes, and I normally don't buy them unless a fortune sim wants them.

How about just dressing your sim in clothes that show the baby bump in the first place? As previously stated, lockers are cheap, and clothes aren't that expensive, unless you think your sims may be lawn living for a while, where my first piece of advice could come in useful.
74  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Game freezes when taking a photo on: 2006 August 29, 06:29:56
Mine freezes as well, about 50% of the time. The sound loops and loops, but it always stops after about half a minute.
75  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Yipes: no makeup and no new clothes? on: 2006 August 29, 06:28:05
I have all the EPs (not that family fun thing though) and all my hair is subfoldered.
