Hm...I'm still wondering why anyone would want to try and turn a neighbourhod into a BFBVFS.

Yeah, most children look alike. Alexander Goth...*shudders* I'd forgotten about him. Unfortunately, most of my sims have at least one extreme facial trait...and sometimes they get two...or three...

I've seen ugly kids turn a corner and get better looking with age but Ive never seen a good looking sim turn ugly at transitioning or funky looking

Oh, I have. For some reason, this guy who was rather handsome as a teen had his nose mutate when he became an adult. It got a huge bump in the middle, and a lump at the end, and I have no idea why. He passed this onto his kids, of course. The alternitive was to have a pushed up nose, small eyes, high eyebrows and no upper lip...

Hmm...I remember once I was suprised when this guy, (whose nose was pushed too far up his head) when he grew into an adult...it was the right size! I was so suprised, especially since his siblings never grew into their noses...

You can usually tell if a kid will get better growing up by looking at their parents back when they were young, especially if they take alot after one parent.

Wow, bangel, that toddler is gorgeous! Then again, what would I know about nice toddlers...So the Tricou's have nice kids, huh?
332  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Expensive games wants.. where to get'em? on: 2005 December 29, 00:49:23
A few of my older houses have bowling alleys. I stuck a whole room on the back, complete with bar.

Certainly wouldn't be a marriage made in heaven! Grin In fact, when they meet post NL, they don't exactly get loads of Lightning Bolts!

That's probably because Cass is a family sim and Don is a Romance sim...you could tinker a bit with the turn ons and try and get a bolt...
334  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Expensive games wants.. where to get'em? on: 2005 December 28, 23:32:00
Bowling doesn't seem to affect fitness.
335  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bad Kids? Bad People? on: 2005 December 28, 14:19:55
but isn't near as much fun.

But since when were sensible things fun?

I guess it takes two to tango, at sometimes the tango goes wrong?  Roll Eyes
337  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Woohoo'd to death on: 2005 December 28, 14:02:05
Maxis is lazy? I dunno. What I noticed is that one Micheal Bachelor is Popularity, and the one with character data is Knowledge.
338  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bad Kids? Bad People? on: 2005 December 28, 13:57:16
Well. That makes sense.
339  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Brandi Broke's Third Child?? on: 2005 December 28, 13:56:02
I've had a few alien babies with no nose, and you can tell, right from the birth. And the ones that do have noses, you can also tell from the birth.
340  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Live in maid? on: 2005 December 28, 11:11:15
p
Has anyone heard of a hack for a live in maid for the rich sims?

Not that I've heard of, but couldn't you just make a sim in CAS, merge them into the house, and use them to do all the cleaning?
341  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Brandi Broke's Third Child?? on: 2005 December 28, 10:04:34
Well, some alien babies are born without noses...matters on your definition of ugly, doesn't it. Some of those alien toddlers are freakish looking.

I remember back when I had the first-born effect, there were two boys, identical, looks and personality. One grew up badly nearly every time, the other grew up well all the time. They are both elders now, and they are still identical.
343  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Woohoo'd to death on: 2005 December 28, 09:52:45
I think one was made for pictures, and the other is refrenced for memories. One has character data, the other doesn't.
344  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Woohoo'd to death on: 2005 December 28, 09:39:14
Maxis probably couldn't be bothered giving Darleen memories. She probably just tried to cook a toaster pastry one morning and stuffed her face instead.

I saw the adopt a kid one in Andrea Hogan when she got joined to one of my sims. She was a fortune sim. But her spouse already had two kids...
346  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: agecons.pkg editing? on: 2005 December 27, 20:42:23
You could adopt. With adoptions and two sets of twins, you can actually have 10 kids rather easily.
347  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: Ethiopian Challenge! Because E-Mail Was Too Easy! on: 2005 December 27, 11:42:24
The smart milk dispenser is electrical.

Oh. I thought it was magical... Undecided
348  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: Ethiopian Challenge! Because E-Mail Was Too Easy! on: 2005 December 27, 10:12:09
I wonder why smartmilk dispensers are illegal if drink is not food. Milk is not food. Maybe smartmilk has illict food properties?
349  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: Ethiopian Challenge! Because E-Mail Was Too Easy! on: 2005 December 27, 10:03:34
I think earlier up the page JM said that 'drinks are not food'.
350  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Requests? on: 2005 December 27, 10:01:40
I had one sim that was attracted to a downtownie teen as a teenager, and now she's an elder and whenever she thinks about him, she still gets the lovey hearts floating around.

What I've noticed with elder family sims is that their wants are cluttered with encouraging their adult children, that don't actually livr at home anymore. Couldn't they be bothered when their kids were...children?
