26  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Continuous loops while on vacation. on: 2009 November 22, 22:33:10
It's been a while since I've played Sims 2 and when I left it it worked perfectly.  The things that have changed is I went from Windows XP to Windows 7 and I have almost all new hardware.  As much as I could tell, everything is as it should until I sent a couple on Honeymoon on a tropical vacation.  They had the map and went to the Witch Doctor.  Everything was fine until the male was fixing the tub.  It was looping at the beginning.  It would spray him (he doesn't have any mechanical skill) and he would stop, so I put him on macro, but she was all done and he was still on the same part.  I told him to mop up the puddles and told her to do it and I no longer had the option to fix it and it was still spraying water.  The Witch Doctor wasn't budging so it was definitely an error.  Then I sent them to learn the native massage, and they would pay, lay down and immediately stand up.  I have so many hacks and have the Megahood.  I would hate to have to go through it.  I haven't touched the folder, so I couldn't imagine what could be wrong.  I was wondering-by a miracle of miracles- if someone recognized the symptoms.

I decided I was going to get all the houses and the players including the dead from Pleasantview and hopefully someone will make a Pleasantview neighborhood in December with the new tool.  Someone probably will, if not, I'll have to give it a shot.  It looks hard though.  I don't see a purpose in making a pseudo neighborhood when a real one might be around the corner.

The story mod at Crazy Town by NRaas is a lot better than Indie and is supported.  It is set up like Indie and uses Awesome Mod core.

yeah, I used Ashkitty's hack but I uninstalled it. I even reinstalled the game but I'm still having this problem.
It will not fix with just removing the hack.  I started over because I wasn't too far into the game and I wasn't willing to kill this particular Sim.  I tried everthing and it wouldn't fix.  There might be something out there to fix it.

So your saying reinstalling the game didn't fix it for you either?
You don't have to reinstall, just scrap the current neighborhood and start over.

What's with the weird thumbnails for Mortimer etc.  I remade the Goths and it still had a boy thumbnail even though my Mortimer was never a boy.
32  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Pregnant but not pregnant on: 2009 November 05, 20:41:34
That happened to me when I used a pregnancy hack that wasn't compatible with Awesomemod.
33  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Exporting a neighborhood on: 2009 November 04, 23:24:41
No, it's the other.  I think I got it.  I was trying to make a Pleasantview, but I think I will make the families and houses, then wait for the town editor to try to make it acurrate as possible.  Thanks though.

What about zipping your save file then uploading it then download it from the other computer?
I don't seem to get what I need.  Do you save just the save file or do you also need the other file. I saved them both and it seems to depend on other files because I saved what I wanted and deleted the rest and the saved file didn't work.  I must have left something important out.

I don't know what I did differently, but I got it to work.  Thank you, for your help, tizerist.
35  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Exporting a neighborhood on: 2009 November 04, 17:10:23
I need help with exporting my neighborhood.  I want to package it for my own use.  I can't seem to transfer it to another computer without destroying it, so I am leery to try this without help.  Any help will be appreciated or maybe a point in the right direction.  Thank you.

I have a question is there anything that can help me force a female sim to give birth. I have one who is stuck very pregnant and she won't progress any farther. I had been using a prenancy hack and didn't realize I couldn't change to a different length hack (oops!) so now she is stuck. I tried resetting her but that doesn't seem to be helping. Any suggesting??
This is definately not helpful, but I tryed everything and nothing worked.  I started over.  It was Morgana Wolff, so I wasn't willing to let her die pregnant.
37  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: New AwesomeMod Request Thread on: 2009 September 27, 16:08:24
I am having a problem that has inspired my request.  My Sims have not been taking care of themselves and I need a cheat that will max motives on the entire community lot.  I have too many Sims that are close to death and I can't save them all.

Scratch that-You can accomplish this with the super-computer.
38  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Error codes 12 and 13 along with crashing. on: 2009 September 22, 18:18:14
I think the biggest problem with these errors is that the solution seems to be voodoo solutions.  I haven't had an error 12 for a month.  I can't tell you what fixed it.  I tryed everything and some combination of something worked.  I'm inclined to think that maybe my screwed up Sim died.  It has seemed to fix itself like the splash screen crashing.  I also went a week with my game crashing the moment I pressed play, Although, I do think that Prescado probably fixed that.  There is a lot of problems with corruption so don't get too creative with fixing.
39  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Crash on save on: 2009 September 07, 01:17:29
I didn't mean the computer graphics, I meant in the game under options, the game had all of them on high, so I lowered them to medium instead and my game stopped crashing.  As your game gets bigger, your computer graphic options may have to be lowered to compensate.
40  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Crash on save on: 2009 September 06, 16:10:13
If your game has gotten very large and your computer specs aren't the greatest, you might try lowering your graphic options.
41  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Error codes 12 and 13 along with crashing. on: 2009 September 04, 16:21:11
Well, I've gone a week without an Error 12. I've left my game on all day and proceeded to play two hours till saving.  You won't believe what ended up helping (after doing all the suggestions).  I never thought of checking my graphic options.  The game installed it on high and I changed it to medium.  I guess it will get to a point when I will have to change it to low.  Hopefully by then I will want to start a new neighborhood.

That was very interesting Jordi.
43  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomod discussion/questions/helpful tips thread on: 2009 September 03, 20:21:50
What I experienced with my computer is that the more Sims that I have on SC, the slower my game runs.  I don't think that there is anything wrong with the mod.  I just think that instead of the Sim standing still (like they would be doing otherwise), they are running around accomplishing.  I tend to have the families take turns with SC.  It did help a lot to lower my grahic options.  The game installed everything on high and it took a while to think to check them.

The wedding went off without a hitch.  Thanks
45  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Private Wedding Crash on: 2009 August 25, 02:42:56
Do you send it in a PM?  It's too big to attach.  I have it saved right before the crash.  I won't send it or less tms can't send it.
46  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Private Wedding Crash on: 2009 August 25, 02:00:11
This just happened to me also.  I'm using the newest build and it wasn't a NPC.
47  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Ok, I'm probably a horrible searcher but... on: 2009 August 25, 00:35:41
To get your changes to stick, you click on the seal at the bottom on your left.  You will now have a file that you put in the same folder as the Awesome mod.  I don't know if this is what you mean, if not ignore.
48  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesome Story Driver Beta-Testing reports on: 2009 August 24, 00:35:27
This last build makes my game run so much smoother--Thanks.  Now, if I can get rid of these dang Error 12's.
49  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: O why won't the marriage option show up? on: 2009 August 23, 01:19:37
I had this problem with two townies.  I got so fed up that I had them dump the townies and marry two playables.  I don't know why it wasn't working with the townies-they weren't miss matched.
