Veilchen, glad to know I wasn't alone there. I too feel/felt like this is someone pulling our collective legs, so to speak. It sounds very unplausible. Plus with a name like PF...well, let's just say alarm bells were ringing. I decided maybe I am getting too jaded and gave PF the benefit of the doubt; but the whole scenario feels "off" for many reasons.

I used to just stack the flower beds and trees, etc., on top of one another using the move objects cheat. That way the lawn didn't get all cluttered up. Same with furniture.

Feel like I'm pulling teeth here but did you try removing your downloads folder and then playing the game? If not, do so. If all is well, you are then faced with adding a bit of CC at a time back into your game until you find the offending file.

Me either, but I didn't object! I didn't check to see what she got, I was too surprised at the time, plus playing a vanilla game, there was a lot of clicking going on, to prevent the new mommy in the house from expiring. I'll check it out next game play and let you know.

Now that is odd. I just installed BV on a computer I have access to while out of town for a couple of months and look forward to finding some weirdness before I get home and install on my own computer. Sort of a test run, so to speak. One thing that I thought was funny while checking out the Traveler family was when little Tina came home from school a pop-up said: You just returned from vacation and have received a memento for the occasion! (Or something to that effect). I hoped that it would happen everyday, but no luck.

Right, that's how they are. But unfortunately the 'new' wave' is to juxtaposition sim faces over real faces. Why? God only knows. They look stupid and I can't even imagine what they look like in game. I would think there are a lot of bodiless heads floating around looking for completion. Maybe it's for contests or something? If so, they lose.

Which flower would never do. When a new EP comes out, I buy it and play it immediately after removing my old downloads folder. Once the mods are updated, I add those and the real fun begins. . New CC! As for stuff packs, I have a stack of unopened ones. I don't trust stuff packs.

TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: WCIF: A way to make Seasons last longer?

Maria's link and paladin's site are refusing to play nice (cursed frames!). If you go to sims 2, objects, then other objects... you'll be able to find the seasons and weather controller there.
Yes, it is all wonky isn't it? It is a vase, which is nice. Doesn't take up a lot of space at all. Short synopsis of what the weather controller can do: Seasons and Weather Controller The Seasons and Weather Controller allows you to change the current season and the season's length with just a couple of mouse clicks. There is also an option to make weather and even turn weather off altogether. Please see the extensive read-me file for complete details on the object's operation. I also attached the file for those of you having problems with Paladin's site.
