I had one do that to me once. Except she walked in the house, up the stairs, grabbed the shit bag from the potty, went to throw it out in the toilet but couldn't (apparently that bug started with uni, the nannies used to be able to flush them prior to that and my playable sims still can) then walked downstairs to the trash, threw it out and left and yes she did charge me. Wink

and here I thought that was because of the toilet roll throwing them out of the bathroom  Cheesy

I'm about ready to strangle the in-game nannies...I normally use the painting but this time I couldn't (challenge...not that I'm any good at them)

nanny arrives...walks all the way up the stairs...gets to the top...turns around...walks down the stairs...crosses the road...gets in her 'car' and drives off...and charges me 10 simoleans... Shocked

I have no idea whether the same skintone or eyes in someone else's game would have the same number assigned to it - I'm thinking probably not.

this has got me curious...one way to find out would be for two people to use the same custom content then check the 'strands' against each other.

I currently don't have any custom skin tones in my game, but a lot of custom eye colours and some custom hair...

Gah! Why didn't you say that in your first post? Damn you for making me have to re-open SimPE again... Fortunately, I knew a Maxis-made sim with light blue eyes off the top of my head (he's in my main storytelling family).

*winces* sorry about that...I know how long it takes to load...at least on my computer Smiley

Looks like it Smiley. The Maxis tones and the custom ones are all doing that.

Don't ask me why, I have no idea...

thanks, someone might want to double check the light blue eyes then...it's 9-4-4-4-12...any of the standard sims have light blue eyes? none of my created sims do, they tend to have custom eyes...

and no...I didn't sit here and count every single 'strand'  Smiley

for names I usually make a bee-line for http://www.kaeori.net/ mostly 'cause the names I get out of my head are unimaginative...think I had two Julian's or something in one family before I realised my mistake  Embarrassed

Can anyone tell us if indeed these DNA problems where fix with the Nightlife patch or Nightlife itself?

they weren't, as I just followed this now and I have both NL and the patch.
