Do it.  Why are you giving EA money for putting security software on your computer that hides itself and you did not agree to it in EAs EULA?
27  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Problem with an outing initiated autonomously by one of my playables on: 2009 January 27, 15:51:33

Is there a way to remove Mary's mother from the outing group so that she's not forced to go along?

This isn't helpful, but I would hope that Mary's mother insisted on joining an outing initiated by Mary's boyfriend's dad.  Ew.

I'd assume they have to make more of an effort with the base games, it wouldn't be good business to piss your community off before you got the franchise started.

The pregnant sim death was caused by taking her to a community lot, wasn't it?
29  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: I Have. Free Time Crash on Load - Error Log on: 2009 January 27, 10:14:10
Do you have any emulation software running?  Like Daemon tools without YASU or Alcohol 120?  I know that on my PC, TS2 running off a legal cd will crash if any of these programs are running at the same time.

Perhaps try downloading a less SuckuRom product, just see what happens.
30  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Apartment Life: Hey again on: 2009 January 14, 11:07:50
I had an experience similar to this  a few days ago. I had my sim guy ask a girl for a date at the home lot. She accepted and wanted to go to a community lot. Walk to lot was immediately followed by the sim girl saying, Thanks for the date, that sucked mpnkey balls. For a second I thought maybe the time had run out, but no, they must have had at least two sim hours of the date left. Apparently my sims can't go to community lots with their dates at all now. Oh, teh joy. I'll do the hack dance as soon as I get home from school.

Errr, my dates and outings work fine, it's just I have to greet everyone again.  So yea, pretty unrelated, but HEY sharing is caring, thanks for coming.

If no one else has noticed this since installing AL, then it must be my hax0rs.  Which is mostly Awesomeware, so I'll keep ya posted.
31  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Apartment Life: Hey again on: 2009 January 14, 10:09:23
Since installing Apartment life, if any sims go on a date or social outing, they must greet each other once again at a community lot before any other interactions will pop up.

This is not cool for dates and community lot weddings.  I've noticed that if I go between community lots for the dates, they must greet again at every new lot.

Anyone else experiencing this borkedness?  Is it the latest EAxis "feature"?  Or is it just me.

Just thought I'd step into say, good fight guys.  Good work.

Mean and non-retarded noobs make me happy.

Maybe they're trying to make themselves look like less of a failure, after that Maxoid posted that PMBD has store stuff.

I have taken this picture in build-mode with the gridlines intact to better show the contouring.

ROFLMAO

It would be weirder if all the objects actually worked correctly.

Yea, actually.  It would.
36  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Lord Darcy's Pet Interactions Enabler for Forgotten Objects on: 2008 November 18, 15:58:10
It's ok.  Good thing you have the FAQ Police monitoring your every move.

Technically, it isn't Tongue

Ahem.

how not to post part 6:  Necromancy is bad, m'kay?
Do not revive a dead thread (no posts in over a month) except under special circumstances, such as discovering a flaw in a hack, or if posting a new thread about a certain subject would get you banned.  If the post is especially useless (such as a "THANK YOU THIS IS GREAT" style post) it may even be deleted by a moderator (though this doesn't happen often).  Necromancy is best kept to hack threads, not social threads.

38  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Sim Adults Cannot Get Jobs!! on: 2008 November 18, 13:58:32
Gee whizz shalunyturns!  You had issues with adult / teen behaviour, like the game was mixing them up?  Oh lol!  And you had Kitten Killer but you didn't bother removing it, because you had done your reading and it's like, compatible?

Oh, and then it was the Kitten Killer all along! WHAT A SURPRISE.
39  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: I cannot get the game to run above a 800x600 resolution. on: 2008 November 14, 12:17:43
Yes, my shitbox is shit. I had no idea what hardware I needed to play games before I got the shitbox (which was way back in 2005, IIRC). When I discovered graphics cards were fundamental for people who actually want to play games, I asked about getting a graphics card. The solution was to buy or build a computer that doesn't suck.

Baa baa Vacantblue, everything seems to be going ok in 1024x768. Not much more lag than in 800x600.

For the love of God, woman.  Get a new PC.

My kids live of that little oven thingy that bakes bread.
41  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: I cannot get the game to run above a 800x600 resolution. on: 2008 November 13, 12:41:28
Dude.  Getting a nicer monitor doesn't mean jackshit if you don't have a graphics card to actually, you know, output graphics.  In theory, your computer shouldn't even be running Sims2, you don't meet the minimal requirements.
42  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Finding the serial code on the cd on: 2008 November 13, 10:18:50
Firstly, don't buy EA.  Have they removed their draconian SecuRom?  They have not.

Secondly, just download a keygen.  Go to piratebay, look for Sims 2 Teen Style Stuff keygen.
43  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Placeable watches and community lots - EP Update? on: 2008 November 09, 11:59:05
Sagana, you've been here long enough to know that asking for help for a MTS2 object, made by a random creator, on a completely unrelated site is a stupid idea.

Here's a thought, why don't you go ask on MTS2.

44  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Is it safe to delete the Sims2Launcher? on: 2008 October 31, 10:20:50
Why do you need the launcher to patch the game?  Just download it off the EA site.  Remember, when you patch, you need a new no cd.

Yes, delete it.
45  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Witches lost hats, changed hair colour on: 2008 October 30, 16:28:53
Yeap, no Squinge for me either.
46  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Witches lost hats, changed hair colour on: 2008 October 30, 13:35:24
The witches in my photos are Belladonna witches who did start out with hats in a clean game.
47  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Witches lost hats, changed hair colour on: 2008 October 29, 10:02:08
I'm not sure what the common factor is, but it's not skin overlays or patch.  I do not have skin overlays, and it doesn't look like Tigerlilley's witches in the first post have them either.  Interestingly, the evil NPC witch is red-haired in my game, too.

I was busy tracking down another issue so didn't have time to check whether the hats are available in CAS.  I'd assume they would be.  Tigerlilley, did that not fix your NPCs?

Nope, no custom skins.  And I swear, I swear when I very first loaded up AL, that the Evil Witch's hair was black to start with.  I  have no idea how to change the hair of NPCs.  Will google, report back.
48  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Second AL patch is out. on: 2008 October 23, 14:43:53
No clean template sadly...

Ugh.  Ugh! What were they thinking! Are they all retarded? I am beyond understanding of what the shit goes through EA's head.  Do you think anyone there has actually played the game before?
49  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Second AL patch is out. on: 2008 October 23, 13:21:13

Social Groups now generate significantly less NPCs

What on earth does that mean?  What is a social group?
50  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Familiars without zomgPets installed? on: 2008 October 23, 12:33:58
My sims dogs don't bark at night, plus you can teach them not to howl etc.  One of the things I do hate about Pets though, is that the speed won't automatically switch to Fast when the sims are in bed.  The animals have to be asleep too.
