Yes, my shitbox is shit. I had no idea what hardware I needed to play games before I got the shitbox (which was way back in 2005, IIRC). When I discovered graphics cards were fundamental for people who actually want to play games, I asked about getting a graphics card. The solution was to buy or build a computer that doesn't suck.
Baa baa Vacantblue, everything seems to be going ok in 1024x768. Not much more lag than in 800x600.

The options will not let me run the game above a 800x600 resolution, regardless if I'm playing in . I put up with 800x600 when I had a smaller monitor, but now that I have a 1440x900 monitor I'm fed up with it. I've tried searching for a solution to this, but to no avail. This is FABULOUS. This series should be called "They Came From AOL." It has a plane crash, murder, a sandwich break (while being chased) and plot holes.  Wow, that was some utterly pointless and illiterate crap. Amazing fluidity of that seamless transition, too. "ZOMG, RUN4urLIFE!!!11One!1ooh, dude. samiches." Here's one of my main inspirations for starting this thread: a pay hair from The Sims Connection called "Time After Time."

Upon putting it in the game one of the first noticable things is that the ponytail has something weird going on at the end.

It's skintone/pink and sort of weird. I call it 'the Butt.' Look for it in the following pictures.
Besides the Butt, the real problems with the hair begin when the Sim starts to move, because aside from sticking out at odd angles as seen above, the luxurious ponytail tends to...

I still remember the face I made first time I witnessed this years ago, when the hair was advertised enthusiastically on TSC as being by Fionn and having amazing animations.

Yeesh! How did I know it was going to be this one This lot isn't flat though, can anyone supply a flat one? Or; how do you make an existing lot flat? I'll do it if I know how. How to make a lot flat in a few easy steps: - Use the Lot Expander to make the lot bigger.
- Enter the lot, flatten it, and save the lot.
- Use the Lot Expander again to make the lot smaller again.
 ?- Profit!
Of course, there are a few issues with the lot expander (Vista, Apartment Life etc). Go bug someone (maybe Jfade) who actually knows about programing. |

My kindergarten had that book too. IIRC, somewhere it says "You can ask your mother of father or another adult you trust to read this book with you."
I think it scarred me for life to hear this book being read aloud SO MANY TIMES. I remember being scared by the picture where the mother gives birth "The baby comes out WHERE?!"
The book I was given was much more graphic. Everything was still cartoonized, but very much anatomically correct. I got to watch a video. |

That reminds me of this.Cho had written several lol plays for his English class which have been leaked onto the internet. They are entitled "Richard McBeef" and "Mr. Brownstone", respectively. Yes, that's right. Richard. Fucking. MCBEEF. In both of these plays Cho displays horrendous grammar and punctuation, which is certainly to be expected for a slant, but what is ironic is that Cho was an ENGLISH major. Keep this in mind when you read such wonderful lines as "Why am I so angry at you! Because you murdered my father so you can get into my mother's pant!--" and "I just said that his name sounds like kidney stone of the ass and that's why he is always gruffy and angry. His shit is so thick and so oddly shaped that he can't go and all his shit are piled up in his intestines all the way up to his chest. He probably rips his sphincter to relieve a single gram of turd after two hours of pushing, sweating, teeth clenching, screeming in frustration, and holding breath for a half gram of green mold shit." This masterful, artfully-constructed prose could truly only come from a senior English major. I think the amount of women and homosexuals in the Sims community is related to the design aspects of the game.</sterotyping> I found this urinal, though I have no idea what is called Sim Winchesters. Episode 1: Introduction, nothing to see here, move on. Episode 2: We are introduced to their band, then "in the middle of one of our practice sets" some guy, John, calls Dean and tells him the story of Jason and Jodie Larson (lol premades) and how close they were when Jodie got sick and eventually died and with the help of a gypsy, Jason brings her back as a zombie. Episode 2.5: Something actually happens! After a 2-pic recap and another story about why Dean doesn't like to drive, they go to the mall, have a bit of fun, and bump into Jason, and persuade him to come over for dinner the next night. We find out the whole point of this is "to decipher whether or not Jason had zombifyed his sister." They go to the Larson house and discover Zombie Jodie in a shed. Everyone has dinner. Really, why the fuck did Jason put Jodie in that shed? Episode 3: A gem. Intimacy, with a big, obnoxious, rude, in-your-face CENSORED. Pregnancy, then a baby. "Andie named him Paddywhack, and we have no objections. At all. None." And so on. Zomg a video!!!!!11one!The journey continues... |
