51  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Abandonated Mods Needing Updates for Free Time on: 2008 February 29, 15:25:44
Drat, I don't have it on me, as I'm at work. I'm rather sure that Squinge's mod to make Servos look like Sims and the like is borked by Free Time, though. Like the kitten killer, every expansion seems to bork it further.
52  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Enthusiasm Tracker Error on: 2008 February 29, 04:22:19
...color me utterly freaking mystified. None of my mods caused the problem. I put them all back in and noting went wrong at all.

...I need a drink.
53  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Enthusiasm Tracker Error on: 2008 February 29, 02:00:08
The problem isn't in the MATY mods. Which means... er, it must be the others I have in. I took them out and it works fine. I'll tell you what the actual problem is when I find it.
54  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bork List: Freetime Ed. on: 2008 February 29, 01:35:56
Uhhh. I have a little girl singing nursery rhymes. It keeps saying that she's gained body skill from working out. Er, what? Maybe it's talking about something about music? It has a little musical something over her head after she sings...

Sonova-

Okay, I'm also getting a LOT of "First BFF" spam on the Aspy granddad. A really lot. Seven BFFs and everyone seems to think it's the first.

These people will not quit stopping by. and ringing the damned doorbell. These are people who he apparently knew previously, but only when they stop by to incessantly ring the doorbell do they turn into BFFs.

...while I'm at it, MY GOD, there are too many bees! What love affair do they have with bees!? This needs a De-Beeificator or something.

Plus... um, does tinkering do anything other than make a Sim do something for days/hours and possibly get them electrocuted five times in ten minutes?
55  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Enthusiasm Tracker Error on: 2008 February 29, 01:35:00
Aha. I THINK I found the problem. Thanks anyway.
56  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Enthusiasm Tracker Error on: 2008 February 29, 00:14:58
Okay. The only hacks that I am running are Director's Cut. I have other objects and things in, but no hacks.

I tried to tinker with the base game weight machine. Good a target as any, you know? I was in the Mole house with John. He tinkered. ERROR! Then it broke. Then he tried to repair it, ERROR! Then it caught fire (? THe weight machine did this!?) and then he caught fire and this snowballed a bit.

The error was with the "Enthusiasm Tracker." Logs included. Uh, any ideas?
57  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bork List: Freetime Ed. on: 2008 February 28, 01:48:37
The Television Television from TSS is missing the Tinker interaction. However, confusingly, it HAS the watch movies interaction.

Also, I just saw a Sim with the green burglary icon. He was a popularity Sim, if that helps track this down any.

Hopped ingame after sillily forgetting his name. Mole. From the new neighborhood.
58  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bork List: Freetime Ed. on: 2008 February 27, 19:14:08
I have found a bork that... well, it's damn sure borken to me!

The Aspir house has a Genie. It is rather boring. However, I used it to bring the granddad's wife back from the dead.

ALL SHE HAS are Mystery Sim memories! FT Director's Cut was in, so I don't even know if they're still married or whatever normally. I'll have to check later, as I'm just on my lunch break.

Damn. The stupid story even pointed you to the lamp and appeared to suggest resurrection for her, but noooo. Broken ahoy.
59  TS2: Burnination / The War Room / Re: Free Time Facts And Learnings on: 2008 February 27, 19:12:33
What is "Wish Peace"? Is that something to do with the genie?

You can wish for peace of mind. I assume this is what that means.
60  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bork List: Freetime Ed. on: 2008 February 27, 16:14:52
*dies laughing*

So people are going "Yay, he cheated on me!" and "Yay, my beloved died!"

I admit, that wasn't quite the type of bork I expected. They always do come up with something new, don't they?

I didn't actually notice this problem, though I'll look when I get home. However, I can say that I haven't had the chair bug yet.

It really really does appear to be a Woot head. And it is for all ages
62  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: The Official TORTURE EMMA DAY Thread! on: 2008 February 26, 19:24:53
...is... does that child have the "head" of Lord Wootsayediditagyn?
63  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: More Awful Than You! February: SKINS on: 2008 February 25, 17:34:35
I'd love for someone to download that baby to see what it looks like as it ages.

I would but I'm to afraid.

I have this sick thought in my head that suggests combining it with an Anatomically Correct body/skin.

64  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: CS masks and clothes [UPDATED : Native career added] on: 2008 February 18, 15:09:50
What is the difference between the normal and sexy feet mesh?

Errrr... one is normal and one has sexy feet.
65  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: More Awful Than You! February: SKINS on: 2008 February 04, 06:31:17
What PURPOSE does it serve, other than to get caught on things? I mean, it doesn't even strangle your internal organs like the real thing does, so what's the point?

Oh, I totally agree. It looks very potentially destructive. Just sharing the brain pain of "Wow, people do this to themselves."

It's probably for people who wear backless stuff, I'd imagine.

Anyway. This will seem tame compared to the others, I suppose, but it still absolutely breaks my brain.

...YMCA, anyone?

Speaking of strange body mods... WHY!? You can at least see the corset ones from a distance more than five feet. And what you can see of this...

"Dude, you got something on your ne- What the!?"
66  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: More Awful Than You! February: SKINS on: 2008 February 03, 23:55:44

I imagined having a bunch of strings crisscrossing your back would be painful. Apparently, I was wrong.

It's called a corset piercing. No, really. It exists.

67  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Empty and Cleaned-up Templates. [UPDATED] on: 2008 January 31, 20:22:43
Okay, Argon did an empty Vacation neighborhood for Asian/Mountain/Island neighborhoods and the tourists/V neighborhood.

Has someone or would someone do cleaned/fixed ones? Someone did a cleaned for the V one only, but I've been having issues trying to make template NPCs with the Maxis ones after my amateur attempts to fix them.
68  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Empty and Cleaned-up Templates. [UPDATED] on: 2008 January 19, 22:14:03
I've been meaning to use the clean templates for ages, now, with a reinstall it's coming to pass. Since there were no Maxis-only templates for Seasons available, I made mine according to the tutorial, you can get them here: Riverblossom Hills, "stealth" template.

Thank you! I've been combing this thread for these. I'll be damned if it isn't a morass in here...

Supposedly there will be a remote controlled helicopter for them to fuck up as well.

Helicopters will have a chance of being stuck in the trees. Cars and boats will have a chance to strike obstructions. Either case will, instead of the intended behavior, make the object disappear immediately, leaving an invisible object and possibly sticking your Sim in the "retrieve" animation.
70  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: The bork pool for L&P Sims 2 "Free Time / Hobbies / Numpty Crap" EP7 on: 2008 January 18, 02:38:37
Thank you for reminding me, Morriganrant.

The koi will die very rapidly. In fact, you will be surprised if you ever manage to keep them alive.
71  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: The bork pool for L&P Sims 2 "Free Time / Hobbies / Numpty Crap" EP7 on: 2008 January 18, 02:07:48
There will obviously be no "Become highest level Oceanographer" LTW.

Wait, lifetime benefit? Like, you get your LTW and get a nice, shiny reward for it?

Which is apparently getting raped by aliens...

*THUD*
72  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: The bork pool for L&P Sims 2 "Free Time / Hobbies / Numpty Crap" EP7 on: 2008 January 17, 23:34:58
Well, it's rather obvious that not a damn thing will match. Not even the "sets" of new stuff they add. They've already proved themselves very good at doing that.
73  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: The bork pool for L&P Sims 2 "Free Time / Hobbies / Numpty Crap" EP7 on: 2008 January 14, 23:07:42
Specialized Instrument Repairmen will also spawn a new one every time you need them to repair an instrument, flooding your NPC pool. And don't forget the invisible "broken violin" objects everywhere!
74  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: The bork pool for L&P Sims 2 "Free Time / Hobbies / Numpty Crap" EP7 on: 2008 January 14, 22:20:21
The violins will break strings at the beginning of every playing session, if a Sim has no experience with them. This will make it impossible to learn to play the violin.
75  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: The bork pool for L&P Sims 2 "Free Time / Hobbies / Numpty Crap" EP7 on: 2008 January 12, 21:46:10
Second, coats don't do jack. All the snow interactions inflict cold damage independently of a sim's uniform, so it doesn't really matter whether they're building snowmen dressed in a coat vs. a bikini.

Which is WILDLY STUPID *augh*
