Thanx J.M. for the answer and for fixing my thing. Smiley

This is worse then AA. Hi, I'm SimMoon and I am a N00B once again. I took a mild 4 years off from The Sims of any kind and came back in recently. I have a question. I have everything but Barnacle Bay. Does it matter what order I put those in or is this better then the Sims 2, you can just do what you want?

Windows 7 PC

Thanks ahead of time. Smiley

.. and yes, if you want to tell me I'll listen. I'm not above cheating.

This does not bode well for my intelligence but I bought the game. Downloaded it. It had no executionable file to launch the game from the game launcher. EA worked on this (instead of giving me a copy of the file and letting me drop it in my folder) for a week. Nothing. So my bro buys it for me because I played the sims so much. HA .. installed from disc and NO EXE. It has to be a problem on my computer but I have no idea what it could be and after sending in everything but a computer autograph to EA, they STILL don't have a clue. I know, I know.. whats new? I'd love to play it. It looks "swell".
Still trying to figure out where the damn chest is when I get to the Computer Room to leave the bribe in Sims 3 World Adventures

SimMoon, missing and still alive.

Oh, old bugs came calling on me. I forgot about Lizzies Love Bed being in my game and suddenly I had the one, the only JUMP BUG! I almost fell out of the chair. I found the bed and deleted it pronto and it will stay gone. Especially since I like TJ's CR a lot more.

I'd say its either the inteen or the insim doing it. I have the latest version of the insim for GL just updated in Sept. and it still conflicts to some extent. Everytime my shelties pee in the floor, I have the microwave oven sitting in the piddle (the microwave is the reproductive component). I haven't made the jump between this and the piddle but I'm working on it. If conflict gets worse than this, I'll have to remove this again. I'm using it for the sims who haven't gotten Dr. Vu's Machine to do a face lift because you can use the blue part of the Insim to do a facelift when faces go a.w.o.l .

::ditto:: ow!
9  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: No Stray Respawns on: 2006 October 21, 15:58:03
The wolves had two pups in the pack that my sim is running with. ::rolls eyes:: He wants bit so he can become a werewolf and I only see him out when I'm on another lot during the night. Such a sad commentary on our Sims. LMAO!!! I don't want KILLER spawning though, so I downloaded this. (That dog gives me the creeps)
10  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: No Autonomous Pet Buying on: 2006 October 21, 15:55:07
They CAN and DO buy pets autonomously and then they can't coller the fuzzy crowd. Pescado, have  you found out where the collars go to after they buy them? They do NOT go on a dog or cat.
11  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Business Controller: Business Runs YOU! on: 2006 May 02, 19:45:02
Thanks JM. You have no idea how badly I needed this mod! Now if you could/would only make a hack that sets limits to how much an employee gets paid.... one employee at the bakery, an npc, has worked enough to get a few badges and is actively making a few dollars more a day then the bakery makes. Its a reason to sell. lol

Can you get something for Art or Ecology? I just get the usuals and nothing more.

I know that there is weather coding in the game, Carrigon uses it for a lot of the weather packages she uses. I think Maxis is planning on using the weather in a future ep.. the question is this: Are we all going to have to upgrade our computers to run the next ep or will weather take out our graphic cards anyway? Rain is a bit scarey on my screen and I have a GeForce FX 5500. It dents the land and takes a while to stop. Sometimes, it wont stop. And the Lightning storms are fun... just don't leave a Sim out in them.

HA HA HA Pescado! That picture is great!!

Okay, first, the plague carrier in the made neighborhoods... I can speak for Veronaville and it's Summerdream family. Delete them. They give the flu to everyone. OR.. give in and download the InSimenator and just go around healing everyone. Since I use the heck out of every mod I get, I don't mind a 'god mod'. http://www.insimenator.net

Second.. LOL!! Carrigon has a bed that gives your Sim an STD. LOL!! http://www.thesims2workshop.com/

gads.. I love the Sims 2 Community!!

17  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: ooh, a mystery hack! on: 2006 May 02, 18:08:41
I suspect it is called Live.package for a reason.

ummmm... it has cockroaches?

18  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Neighborhood History on: 2006 May 02, 18:05:51
hehehe

I nuke them all and make my own. I learnt this real good from JM. Dint I? LOL!!

Remember Overflowing neighborhoods? Hah! I had an entire population of Rhode Island living in Veronaville and I only had 3 Sim Familys (9 Sims) in Veronaville. The rest was "made by Maxis/EA". So I nuked it and started over.

Okay, I requested a few months ago from Barcelonista to make some contacts that could be used like makeup. She was quick to get these to me and they are in the "eyeshadow" catagory when you install them. Here is the link:

I hope you like them as much as I do.

Cheesy

Thanks JM. I'll pass that one on. I didn't know about that but it explains some wierd Vampiric behavior on OFB lots.

21  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Thinking about laundry on: 2006 May 02, 17:53:46

Attach the hygeniene score of every household member to whether or not "Do Laundry" is performed.  The score decays a bit the longer you go between loads.  At a certain point if no laundry action has been performed, the max possible hygeniene you can acheive starts going down. So basically it means you've got to perform the action at some point every once in awhile or else the whole household takes an ever-increasing permanent hygiene hit until its done.

It would be funnier if the "flies" anime shows up when they get "X" dirty along with the toxic green cloud and eventually the family gets roaches inside the house if they don't do the laundry. I think modders all over the .net would be making hacks for that one. LOL!!
