Thanks Misty for the tip, it certainly worked.  My sim is pacakged and ready to go  Cheesy

Simpe is great, wish I downloaded and used it earlier!

127  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Nightlife and Twins on: 2005 November 13, 06:03:21
Yes, I backed up my game Motoki Smiley  I never go to the BBS, only went there once after I registered and that was about it really.  That place is downright scary!

Ok I managed to do as Zeljka said, took me awhile to find the sim surgery bit but after I selected the sim and chose "clone" I saved him to desktop.  Now he looks something like N005*numbers*.package.

Now my question is *drumroll* what do I do with it? I tried putting him into one of the other nieghbourhoods files but he still doesn't show up in bodyshop.
128  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Nightlife and Twins on: 2005 November 13, 05:06:50
I've never actually used Simpe, been meaning to download it but I'm just paranoid I'll ruin the game somehow.

I know I should just do it and learn it, as it seems inevitable in order to do certain things.

Thanks for suggestions and input witch and Zeljka Smiley

*Skips off merrily to blow up the game*  Wink
129  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Nightlife and Twins on: 2005 November 12, 19:12:58
I don't mind sharing them virgali, thing is I have no clue how to upload a single sim.  These two are already in a family.

<--Newbie when it comes to packaging anything as I've never done it before.

If anyone knows a site or tutorial I'd be happy to try tho.

130  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Clothing equality mod - adult clothes for elders (updated 11-1-05) on: 2005 November 12, 02:53:00
Wow this is fantastic! I have alot of elders now in my game, since I'm on my third generation and this certainly helps a great deal.

Thanks for sharing this with us  Smiley

131  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Nightlife and Twins on: 2005 November 12, 00:51:05
I'd like to share pics of my third generation born twins, Hunter and Alex.  Usually twins don't look so similiar when they turn adult (at least none of mine ever has).

Hunter is on the left, Alex on the right.

Can you tell them apart at all? Anyone else ever have twins that look so alike?
132  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: clothing gone bad? on: 2005 November 12, 00:28:40
And don't they get through a lot of stuff!  That's the time for someone else to influence him to garden!

Off topic but I noticed that a couple of my sims always get the "Influence someone to garden" want almost everyday - weird thing is there is no plants at all  Huh

Bug perhaps? or do I need to plant something just to get rid of the silly want?
133  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Shared neighborhood - ground rules on: 2005 November 11, 22:50:43
Ancient Sim : That's the way I thought it would be, I just love the idea of playing sims that have been created by others, then sharing the different outcomes of every family.

Eventually my sims end up looking the same, and it gets monotonous playing the same way over and over.  Main reason why I haven't been playing for a couple of weeks, and this put some interest for me into the game.

I know I am new, as well as alot of other people I've noticed have recently shown an interest in this - so what I suggest is that you and Motoki and maybe a few others who know each other better and can work together decide, and the rest of us that wants to join will accept the rules as you all see fit.  This is just my humble opinion.
134  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: I have Simpotence on: 2005 November 11, 21:27:04
Sorry didnt't mean any disrespect for Missdoh.  I just think that maxis made sims look utterly horrible, so please feel free to throw those tomatoes my way if you feel the need to Tongue

I'm up for whatever you guys decide on Smiley
135  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Sharing neighborhoods - Simpotence thread on: 2005 November 11, 21:03:30
JadeElliott: I think ure Whimsy Valley is beautiful, I know it's not entirely up to me but you have my vote Smiley

I have original game, uni and NL, and I'm all for the idea's here.

136  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: I have Simpotence on: 2005 November 11, 20:31:20
Personally I don't think custom skins/eyes/hair would be a problem for most, is there really anyone out there that doesn't have custom skins etc for their sims?  I can understand houses perhaps cos you could accidently get a hack or two in if ure uploading a house.  That shouldn't be too much of  a problem if you use clean installer either. Just my humble opinion of course.

I certainly don't mind any custom content on any sims, and I can always change some of them after I get the families. I think it's actualy better to try and use the sims as is, cos everyone has different tastes, and I would actually prefer to play different looking sims etc.  I thought the main idea was for this to be different playing experience for all.

I agree with Motoki/Ancient being in charge somehow, I certainly don't mind, I'm in for whatever you guys decide on.(That's if you guys think it's OK for most of us lurkers just coming out of the blue like this Tongue ).

137  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Poor Baby! on: 2005 November 11, 02:34:20
I don't think I could handle any of my nannies walking around in the nude like that, it's just too wrong Tongue

There's a hack for naked nannies at the adult section of MTS2. Wink

I'm not the least suprised you'd know that Motoki Tongue

So tell us what's with the bizarre nanny obsession thingy?  Grin
138  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: is there a doctor in the house? on: 2005 November 10, 22:50:06
Eh, probably a tumor. Nothing serious. Get some more monitor radiation, you'll be fine. Don't use those damn newfangled LCD things, get a proper ion bombardment tube.

I think that 1 point you have in niceness is way overrated  Shocked

Good luck with you're appointment ness.
139  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Nightlife and Twins on: 2005 November 10, 21:15:52
I've had 5 sets of twins born since I installed nightlife.  Comparing to the two sets of twins I had previously during the whole time I played original/uni.

It's probably just a random thing tho.  My romance sim Rebeka had twins (risky woohoo), then managed to get pregnant again just 5 days before coming elder (again risky woohoo) which also resulted in twins.

The first set of twins she had (boy/boy) are so identical I can't tell them apart at all.  All my other twin sims usually just resemble each other but I can never tell these two apart.

140  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Poor Baby! on: 2005 November 10, 21:08:17
That's the funniest sim pic I've seen ever! Poor baby will be scared for life heh.

I don't think I could handle any of my nannies walking around in the nude like that, it's just too wrong Tongue

141  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: I have Simpotence on: 2005 November 10, 09:58:04
That sounds like a great idea ZephyrZodiac.  It shouldn't be too hard to create families/homes with just maxis content.

I'm looking forward to playing a new hood if this works, Yay!

142  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: I have Simpotence on: 2005 November 10, 08:50:58
I know exactly how you feel Motoki!  I go through my sims stages, which usually consists of playing only sims for a few weeks, then I will get bored and do something else with my spare time for another few weeks.

I haven't played for about 10 days now (even though I come to MATY almost everyday to read) which keeps me a lil occupied and sometimes I'll read something that will give me ideas to start playing again.  Brynne's sims stories anyone?  Cheesy

The last time which made me plays lots was when I downloaded Lizzlove's bed, I had so much fun with that it was way cool.

I really like the wildcard idea, would love to play/share any lots or families, count me in too please  Smiley

143  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: The Movies (the game) on: 2005 November 05, 19:20:31
Looks interesting.  I've been looking into some new games I can purchase, but haven't found anything I want to play.

Reminds me of superstar too, although when you move the simmies they yell like they are in pain or something, seems a tad annoying heh.

144  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: The Battle of the Aspirations on: 2005 November 05, 08:29:47
Most of my sims are knowledge/family and I have to admit it's gotten fairly boring playing them now.  I have noticed a change in family sims since I've installed NL.  Most of my family sims don't even get the "Teach wants" once the baby turns toddler.  I even tested it with 4-5 families I have and only 1 sim rolled the want.

Fortune sims are not too bad to play.  I've only gotten the shubbery want on one sim, all my other fortune sims have never rolled that want, and I have at least 7-8 of them, half of them elders already.  So depends on star-sign maybe?

Romance sims can be fun to play, I always have a few of them stirring things up now and then  Wink

Pleasure sims....I have to say is the worst aspiration ever.  I've played about 6 sims who are about a few days away from turning elder, and 2 that have turned elder.  They dont mind being married but sheesh, have some wants towards the wife/hubby/kids. Never got a want for teaching toddlers anything (even some of my romance sims get the want)  Rarely get a want for flirt/gossip etc.  If they go on a date well diff story, but that doesnt make them unique cos all aspirations get the same wants when on a date.

How many times can you constantly use the bubble-blower, play SSX, play chess and then it goes back to the same thing over and over.  My elder wants to jump on that silly couch every morning when she wakes up  Undecided I can go on and on but I think I've said enough  Wink

Cheese Asp doesn't appeal to me much but I guess I'll get around to it sometime.

145  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: LTR on: 2005 November 05, 06:45:24
Np Smiley

I downloaded an abduction one myself few days ago.  I'll take it out tonight to see if that is the problem.

I'd appreciate if you let me know the cause if you find it. Good luck  Smiley

146  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Why should I clean a dirty bathtub? on: 2005 November 05, 06:08:16
Yes, I've noticed that this has changed, at least in my game it is.  I checked over a few days and even tho the maid just left, my sim still has the option to clean the toilet, or sometimes the shower.  Mine was fine before NL too.

No idea if it is a neat/sloppy sim thing but I'll take a look into it tonight.

Oh and I don't know about you guys but the "Influence someone to Clean" and "Influence someone to cook a meal" comes up as a want on almost all my sims every single day :/  Almost makes me think why I take them to college to get the extra want slots.  Mind you it doesn't seem to matter if the house is clean and the hunger meter is full.

147  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: LTR on: 2005 November 04, 23:58:05
I seem to have the same problem.  I only have J.M's and T.J's mods and the inseminator. Oh and Inge's doors (can't live without those!) so not quite sure what could be causing it.

Don't think it's the insem tho, as I've had that installed since I did a clean install and was no problem then.  Unless its conflicting I have no idea what can be causing it.

Just checked I have like 15 mods, I can list them for you if you like.  It can help narrow down you're list if you have more than me.

148  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Welcome, TwoJeffs! on: 2005 November 04, 23:46:43
Hi Everyone Smiley

Not really new here as I'm always reading this section but decided it was time to register and quit being lazy and all to say hello Smiley

Really glad to see T.J here, I have almost all you're mods and don't know how I could play without them.

Thanks and Welcome  Smiley
