1  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Unofficial OFB Patch - Merge Of Several Older Fixes + New Stuff on: 2010 October 06, 01:04:14
Not sure if these mods are being updated but I thought I'd let you know that with this mod in it isn't possible to assign an employee to a chef stove.  Owner/household members can but when you try to assign an employee they just stand there and do nothing.  I can assign one just fine without the mod in so definately something within the mod that is causing the problem.
2  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Apocalypse! How many are left? on: 2009 July 10, 19:13:49
I wasn't too impressed with the gameplay in Sims 3 the first day I got it.  I stuck with it a few days to give it a fair chance and found it to be enjoyable for short periods of time.  Now after playing it on and off for a few weeks I still can't get used to the look of the Sims.  The toddlers and children still freak me out, they remind me of the Chucky dolls.  No matter how different I make them look in CAS they seem to have that hollow scary look ingame.  Anyhow, after getting to the top of a few careers with a few sims I'm really bored of it now.  The animations are also something I can't seem to enjoy. Having to stick to just romantic actions in one tree and losing it after making some other action in another tree makes socialising somwhat of a chore for me.

I installed my Sims 2 again about a week ago (with only the expanions that I enjoy most) and will be rebuilding my medieval neighbourhood.  I uninstalled my Sims 3 and most likely wont be going back to it anytime soon.
3  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Community Lot Skilling and Enthusiasm on: 2009 July 03, 20:47:46
I reinstalled my game to only allow Base+OFB+Seasons and AL.  Can I still use this if I don't have Freetime installed?  I could live without it if I had to but I really like community lot skilling.

Aye, not working for me either.
5  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Using a Crack with AnyGameStarter on: 2008 October 23, 19:13:09

Mootilda - That is good to know.  I'm fairly certain I bought them way before then but it doesn't hurt to double check.

BastDawn - Good thing is that the only stuff pack I have is Glamour Life.  Baa for the tip Smiley

Does that mean all the games up to Seasons is safe from Securom?

I was planning on installing up to OFB on my other computer.  If I patch I wont be able to use the no-cd correct? (I'm quite sure I can't but I hate having to use the CD, I could always not patch the last EP if that is so).

I tried a wide variety of face templates about a year ago and really liked the ones made by terramoskos.  They have been modified to look somewhat more realistic.

You can get it here http://hideki.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=135121
8  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: [Work in progress] Polygamy or marriage of convenience on: 2008 July 04, 00:25:45
Just tested this and it seems to be working great.  I didn't encounter any problems at all.  Ty for updating this Inge, much appreciated Smiley

Woot! Just in time for my new medieval hood that I'll be starting today or tommorrow.  Will test and let you know if anything blows up Smiley
10  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Pet stuck in permanent pregnancy. on: 2007 July 27, 07:16:59
I've taken out all of my mods (with the exception of notownieregen), moved the family into another lot and still no change.  Oh well, guess I'll just have to live with it.  I did a fresh install a few days after the last patch came out for Seasons so I'm not doing that again.
11  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Pet stuck in permanent pregnancy. on: 2007 July 27, 05:29:36
Simpe didn't show anything, none of the body flags were ticked.  I made another couple like I mentioned earlier in another nieghbourhood.  I'm having the same problem and Simpe isn't showing any flags for her either /sigh

Seems like I need to take out all my mods and see if one of those is the culprit.
12  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Pet stuck in permanent pregnancy. on: 2007 July 27, 00:29:42
B, I just tried all those options and none of them worked Sad  I think I'll make another pet couple tonight and see if I have the same problem with them.  That way I can isolate the problem better.

I don't think its a hack conflict since I only use the mods by Pes, TJ and Inge.  I've also run the hack conflict tool, everything seems fine.

Anyhow, I appreciate the guide/pics B, seemed so easy Smiley
13  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Pet stuck in permanent pregnancy. on: 2007 July 26, 19:40:06
I do have Simpe, but I've only ever used it for genetics (custom eyes/skins) which I used a guide to do.  I have no idea how I could fix this problem via Simpe.  If there is a guide someone could point me to, I'll gladly give it a go.

I never play with aging off, I double checked it anyway and that isn't the problem.  Ty for the replies.

14  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Pet stuck in permanent pregnancy. on: 2007 July 26, 09:13:26
I've had Pets for awhile now but just haven't really created any until a few days ago.  I made a couple of dogs in CAS and moved them in with a single sim.  I'm not sure how long the pregnancy lasts (I'm guessing 3 days maybe at most?) but its been like 11 days already and no puppies.  I know she is pregnant cos I get the "I should stay home in this condition" whenever the carpool arrives for her to go to work.  I don't get the option to breed them either.

I've tried deleting her and that hasn't worked.  Any help would be appreciated.

I think he is kinda cute too.  Wouldn't call him ugly at all.  Everyone has different views on looks I guess.
16  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Looking for sims on: 2007 January 06, 06:35:30
I managed to find some good ones at insem, and quite a few spunks on the Rockchick site Smiley

Will download a few of those you mentioned at MTS2 Sagana, thanks for the links.

Cywkes, I'd be delighted to test out sims.  Army of 8 guys sounds great.  I have plenty of female sims so they wont get lonely  Wink
17  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Looking for sims on: 2007 January 04, 23:34:12
Made-up sims is a good idea, been awhile since I checked there.  Last I looked there was a shortage of males though, will have to look again.

I'll have to check insem later as well.  Ty for the tips  Smiley
18  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Looking for sims on: 2007 January 03, 23:44:46
I've decided to make a new neighbourhood and been looking for some decent sims I can download.  I spent all day yesterday downloading various sims and almost all of them have the painted faces (not sure exactly how to describe it but even the eyebrows are on the skin itself).  If you try to change the gender or make it a child it looks nothing like the original sim.

If anyone knows of any sites that have some sims (especially male, as mine all tend to look the same when I make them), I'd really appreciate it.

Also I'm not really into the anime type looking sims.  I have a few but I really need some variety  Wink
19  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Big nose problem on: 2006 November 18, 23:57:58
This is really weird.  I recently re-installed my game because all the sims turn out with big noses.  I took out all my downloads and still have the same problem.  I couldn't get rid of it so I re-installed my full game - no downloads and I am still experiencing this.

I put the smallest nose on a sim in Cas, but as soon I play the sim the nose changes into a big nose.  This is by far the weirdest bug I've ever encountered.  I have all expansions except the family fun pack.  My game is also patched.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
20  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Lot Sync Timer: All BlueSoups Suck Edition on: 2006 September 20, 05:50:12
I never lot jump anyway, just not used to it I guess.  Thanks for replies, putting in the new shiny now Smiley
21  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Lot Sync Timer: All BlueSoups Suck Edition on: 2006 September 20, 02:58:41
I kinda skimmed through this whole thread and I'm so confused Sad

So just a simple question I guess - Does this currently work with OFB?  I already went through the hack directory for OFB but can't see it listed there.
22  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Earn 100K Lifetime Want on: 2006 September 19, 18:31:58
I moved in the Diva a few days ago, she bought in about 70k.  If you add up all the other items which come in the inventory (telescopes, dj booth etc) then you could easily say it's over the 80k mark.
23  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: How close may I be to impending doom? on: 2006 September 18, 04:02:31
You know the same thing has bee happening to me since installing Glamour. My Sims keep crossing the aspiration lines. Family sims wanting to break up. Business sims wanting slacker jobs and to stay home. Knowledge sims nearly addicted to partying.

A want to Break Up? I've never seen it. Should one have rolled up, I would have done it. My cheaters just make up and forget.

In all the time I've played my sims I've never seen this want either.  I've had several sim couples who hated each other but never seen it.
24  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Sim unable to clear plates.... on: 2006 September 15, 17:53:36
This happens to me frequently in some of my households.  I already replied to one of the other threads methinks but I'll post what I do anyways.

The sim that can't pick up the plate I just delete with moveobjects on and re-enter the household.  This fixes it everytime.  It can be a hassle but I don't think there is a fix for it yet.

I'm quite sure the reason it happens is when a sim is saved on a community lot while still eating it gets stuck somehow.  I'm no expert but at least that's what seems to be the cause with stuck plates.
25  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Made food for family / Guests on: 2006 September 15, 17:37:31
Since we can put food in our inventories, that's what i usually do.  I also limit the kitchen to 1 person in the household, that way I don't get too many sims in there preparing food.

Works well enough for me anyways.
