Use Custard to remove the files you don't want and then save it as a new Sims3pack before installing through the launcher.
I realize I should ask the creator this question, but because the opportunity presented itself here (and I generally forget the issue unless I am using the program) I am going to proceed with my question to you. The process to remove the unwanted files is to uncheck those specific files, correct? Then go to 'File' and select 'Save'. However, I invariably get an error every time I try to open the "new" Sims3pack. Obviously, I am DOING IT WRONG. Stupid Pebcak. Please to enlighten.

I heard somewhere that Pescado has a kick-ass recipe for some-type of incendiary device which includes some special, not-for-the-plebian-masses, vodka. A pixelated version of that could be some interesting gaming! A non-pixelated version of that could be some interesting times, especially around the holidays when mixed with volatile fambly members.

Are there any royal robes in TSM that could be/have been converted? Thanks!
You were incredibly, but kindly directed here from another thread in order to find what you requested. I believe every item in this thread is included in a post just a few above yours. It is incumbent upon YOU to search and find what you want. eta a but.

Thanks for the up, jmtmom. Do you know if the clothes work, or have they been wonkified from Pets-patching snafu? If the clothes files managed to make it past the pets-patching problem, great, but if not, will the Granthification method work on clothes? I'm asking because I haven't heard of any issues with borked clothing rigs, but I haven't searched for the information yet, either, since I haven't gotten around to checking how the cc works in the pets patched game.

Perhaps it was cloned from a strore object. If you have a lot of cc installed via the launcher you may need to play around with the dbc cache files to make them all appear, there's a tutorial around here somewhere for that. Also my arr'd store stuff does show up as store stuff.
I only install store stuff and worlds via the launcher. I convert all other cc to packages. Also, if content is showing up as being installed by the launcher, you'd think the stuff would show up in it. The content being cloned from a store object makes sense for the icon showing up in game, but any ideas of how to track down the offending crap if it's not showing up in the launcher? Is it possible for the cc to have a store icon in game, yet be installed as a package if it's cloned from store content?

Can you please make it less attractive for sims to stop what they are doing and watch other sims pass out, or piss themselves? I am trying to do an Asylum challenge and all my uncontrolled sims just stand around pissing and passing out. My controlled sim will stop what he is doing, if he is in the same room and fricken basically starve to watch.
Or is there an option in aweconfig that I am missing?
That's hilarious! Isn't it a feature? If not, I think it should be.

As the title says, I have TSR cc showing up in game as store content. Not only did I NOT download this stuff, let alone install it, but I always "custardarize" any lot I download and convert to a package before dropping it into the library folder. Obviously, I missed something, somewhere. That is irritating enough, but the fact that TSR shit has an icon indicating that it's store stuff demands an explanation! WTF? Aaaared store shit doesn't even show up as store content. Even more frustrating, when I go to delete the offending shit via the launcher, none of the unwanted crap shows up there. I would really like to know how to nuke that shit outta my game (hopefully without having to delete the dcdb files and reinstall all my store crap) and why on Earth it shows as store stuff.

any links to where i can find what exactly is required to "manually" fix said fucked up beds? It seems that ever since I ran all my shit thru the decrapifyer and fixed all my CC, my game runs slower than hell. I'd like to try the compressorizer to compress my package files but one step at a time....
You really should read this thread again and try comprehending what the posters have written. After reading the interchange between Moryrie and jeromycraig, I google searched, and voila - a linky-poo to the information appeared!

I've found missing strings to mostly happen when I have a second copy of an item installed. Such as instances where I had individual sets and also compilation packs installed because I hadn't picked through them properly. Same when I have the full sets installed as well as the separated counters.
I was wondering if installing the separated counters with the full sets installed would overwrite or duplicate the files. So, if I am understanding correctly, installing separated counters doesn't duplicate, yet causes missing strings in buy mode - but they work. Hopefully, the same is true for the fences. It seems I spend more time trying to get content to work properly than playing the game.

The original owner of the brothel was caught doing all kinds of illegal stuff (imagine that), and govco took over. I imagine once Govt. began managing, health concerns for both buyers and sellers became more important. However, govt. didn't manage too well, and ended up auctioning the brothel. It seems to me that govt. is more experienced at screwing. Hurr

Thanks for the files. I don't know if it will even work, but there's (probably) no harm in trying. Wait a minute. Are you watching me through mah cameraz?
Edited to add:
Well, It seems that when you open the launcher and get the 'there is a patch available' message, the magical launcher will install a contentPatch folder for you, even if you don't select an option to install. The folder is empty, but just in case you're gonna want to install the patch later, most of the work is already done. Ta Da!

There's a fixed spellbook on this site, and if you search there are a few posts explaining what to do with it. I don't use the 3viewer to install content, so I don't know if it decrapifies or not, but a quick search will give you specific information on how to do so, so that your store stuff will show up in your game.
I don't use the woohooer, but do you even need it with AM?

Weird, I decrapify all sims3packs (to date), then install in one hit. Works fine for me, though it can take a while. for /R %%i in (*.sims3pack) do s3rc.exe -fD "%%i" for /R %%i in (*.package) do s3rc.exe -fD "%%i" for /R %%i in (*.nhd) do s3rc.exe -fD "%%i" for /R %%i in (*.sim) do s3rc.exe -fD "%%i" for /R %%i in (*.dbc) do s3rc.exe -fD "%%i" @pause This is my batch file, saved as s3cBatch.cmd. I have decrapify.exe and s3rc.exe in the same folder, along with all the sims3packs. If you make sure both executables are up to date, then just double-click the .cmd file and voilą. This is what I used to do, then as the amount of sims3packs grew some of the packs didn't seem to install right using the launcher, now I use the Compressorizer Redux and use the launcher to install all Sims3packs to date to get one or two giant .dbcs, and everything is installed fine. I then remove them to my packages folders and make sure my .package fixes are overriding the .dbcs. I have no idea why it works with the Compressorizer instead of the plain .exes, as it's the same damn thing either way, probably something I'm doing. Voodoo, fucking game runs on Voodoo. What is the benefit of moving the dbc's to the package folder? I'm assuming installed this way, they show up with the custom content stars? I'm really curious.
