Just to say that beosboxboy at the insimenator site has just converted the uni curly hair for men, and i think it looks better than the female version.

Have you heard of paypal.com? That's what we use to transfer money back and forth from Norway to the US. Of course, you do need two paypal accounts. One that has a foreign bank account connected to it and one that has a US one. Works great! And no fees either.

I've got a paypal account, and come to think of it, i think my mums got one too. It just never occurred to me to use it for something other than ebay. Im such an idiot. (<- Feel free to mock me)

Any buffy fans out there? How soon do you think someone might be able to hack a sexbot? Wink I think it'd be a funny alternative to danny's Woohoo npcs. Lol.

I dont know that you would be able to tell the difference in the game. I mean, didnt the sexbot just look like a normal human. (and i didnt think she was all that odd- ive met girls like that)
33  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Zombies on: 2006 January 19, 10:51:09
Thats actually a really good idea. You would save money on nannies if you played a family for several generations, and you wouldnt have to waste elixir on them.

Numenor made the no turn off tv mod. It was xptl297 at variousimmers that made the no change channel one. Hope that helps  Smiley
35  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Neighborhood apocalypse - on purpose? on: 2006 January 19, 09:01:49
One of my sims may have died of disease, im not sure, It was either that or starving to death. I put her She got trapped inside a fence with only a shower and an easel. And i havnt seen her ghost because her tombstone mysteriously disappeared from the lot. I think her husbands ghost may have smashed it.

Emma, I like her hair.  Smiley

Me too, where did you get it?  Smiley

Its working for me too with IE.
38  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Mushie TV on: 2006 January 17, 12:12:22
It looks pretty cool, but unfortunately is far too big for most of my sims houses. Is it a 3 square piece?

And im not allowed to download anything else- my computer wont let me until i get rid of some.
39  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: S.O.S. Save our Sims on: 2006 January 11, 15:05:51
I think Nectere actually just meant to move your Neighbourhoods folder to your desktop- found in EAGames-Sims 2-Neighbourhoods (i think), then replace the new ones with the old after you reinstall, not to package the lots and replace those.
40  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Categorizing all my downloaded hair... Any advice on how to keep my sanity? on: 2006 January 11, 13:35:34
Thats what happens to me, except, it seems to actually be after its searched all the files, when its loading them into Datgen. I have the latest release too, as I redownloaded it after it crashed the first time.
41  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Wondering How This Would Work on: 2006 January 10, 15:44:52
Thats actually quite a good idea, if it works. Saves all the messy break-up stuff, and as you will only be playing one house at a time, it shouldnt cause problems that way. You may have to use elixir or aging off though, or he will age excessively
42  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Strange furious situation on: 2006 January 10, 12:11:05
I did the same thing. Recently changed my game language to german, and lots of the townies names have changed, which i didnt know at this point. Two of my sims were getting married, and i needed some extra guests, so i invited a girl in off the street, didnt recognise the name, so didnt think to check relationships. I get everyone out to the wedding deck, except the bride, who is bringing the toddler.

Suddenly, she puts the toddler down and runs to the deck. I scrolled there just in time to see her slap her groom to be, for flirting with the girl i'd invited in, as they were in love with each other. Used the insim to make them best friends and crushes again, but i have a nice wedding pic of the bride stood under the arch with a furious thought bubble of her new husband.
43  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Yey!!! My brother is now a newly-converted TS2 freak! on: 2006 January 09, 09:58:48
I have no real life friends either  Wink ( That play Sims 2, I mean- obviously). My boyfriend made me and him in a house back when i only had the sims 2, but tried to play again after i installed my expansion packs, and complained for 10 mins how slow it was before shutting down the computer. I forgot that last time i played that lot, it was 10 to 7.
44  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Family Allowance/Child Benefit for sim parents? on: 2006 January 06, 16:06:07
The labour government is a joke (sorry to anyone who supports them), as of next year, its 3000 pounds (sorry, no pound sign on my german keyboard) fees per year of your course. For someone on a language course, like me, thats 12000 just from fees, and at the end of my course i will owe over 16000 from my loan. Add 2 grand in your overdraft (maximum after a 4 year course), and you owe nearly 30000 pounds just from trying to improve your career prospects.

You can still get flats and small houses for that much in some parts of the uk. Its totally ridiculous.
45  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Categorizing all my downloaded hair... Any advice on how to keep my sanity? on: 2006 January 06, 16:01:15
Do you actually mean the hairtoner, or the skin manager? Thats what ive been using in the newer version, and it crashes for me too. Not helpful, but it might help to know you're not alone in that frustration.
46  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Family Allowance/Child Benefit for sim parents? on: 2006 January 06, 15:29:23
I couldn't agree more, anyeone, and in the UK birth control for women is free if you are on Income Support.

Actually, birth control in the uk is free to all women, and for men too in certain health centres.
And sleepycat, comments arent aimed at people like you, who have a child because they want one and are going to love it and take care of it. They are aimed at people who have children for the sole aim of getting cash benefits from the government, then leave their children to run wild, doing whatever they want, even if that means skipping school and attacking old ladies in the street.
47  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Request: Object to add family ties in game on: 2005 December 13, 12:33:33
I dont know, im having a problem with inteen right now (sims cant propose engagement/marriage), and he keeps asking me questions that ive already answered. He doesnt seem to read the posts you make, just posts standard responses until he finds out whats wrong.
48  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: Ethiopian Challenge! Because E-Mail Was Too Easy! on: 2005 December 13, 11:32:29
I dont believe this is actually possible. I think JM just wants to sit and laugh at us all until we realise this. So i refuse to do it. Im going to finish my legacy challenge (only on 2nd gen- might take a while), then try the email challenge. And i might move on to this if someone has finished it by then.
49  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Request: Object to add family ties in game on: 2005 December 13, 10:57:00
Isnt that just because it does so many different things though?
50  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: OT - You know you're an internet geek when.... on: 2005 December 13, 10:53:51
I do all my banking online and find it a huge inconvenience when I have to write a cheque.  In fact, I usually have to turn the house upside them looking for them!

Imagine having to get your mum to post your cheque book to Germany, so you can write her a cheque back, because your internet banking wont send money from another country.

And i was introduced to my boyfriend by a friend, who later admitted she was trying to hook us up. Hes is majorly technically challenged, can barely write emails and send them. Although i managed to get him hooked on Sims last time he visited.
