But then you have to do extra mouse maneuvers to get the popup off your screen. That was my experience with it, until I figured out where to turn it off. I didn't know it existed until I got a computer with Vista. It was on by default. And it screamed at me about permissions when I tried to make it stop with the unwanted popups.

I'm pretty sure that it wasn't anything to do with your Apartment though as I moved him back in and all is well this time around.
I like how, after going to the trouble of resurrecting him, you had him repeat the exact steps that led to him getting zapped into oblivion in the first place. I bet you even had him clean that dirty terlet again, too, didn't you?

Nuts. I have that, and it's so damn useful. I'm hoping your tight pants were not purchased at Paladin's Place, and you have someone else's tight pants conflicting with the only-slightly-tight pants you picked up there.

I played with it in the early days. It was fun to twist sims into interesting poses. But it was useless. The photo-editing people still use it, I believe.
Don't know why. With so many pose hacks, it seems like too much trouble.

Try going to C:\Program Files\EA Games\ and doing a search for groups.cache. Depending on your EPs, one of them may be getting copied over to the My Documents directory when you run the game after deleting the file. It's possible it's naturally bloated, or that it has gotten corrupt. I just deleted all that crap.

I have found that some EP has caused certain things to be copied over from the Program Files directory every time you make changes to your neighborhoods (such as swapping neighborhoods, etc.). These include camera settings and Thumbnail/Cache files. So it's possible that when you delete your Thumbnails, the game helpfully copies them over from Program Files directory the next time you start the game. This doesn't matter when the thumbnails you want to update are associated with custom content, but since you want to update EAxis content... crap happens. I have deleted all the Thumbnails and Cache files from the Program Files directory to stop the annoyance, and also replaced all the camera files with my preferred version.
