Are you people all incontinent at the mouth?
I always wonder that as well. I have, many times, snorted a drink up my nose when something unexpectedly funny popped up on my screen, but never have I spewed it. I did, however, once pee myself while laughing hard at a failblog video. I'm sure that peeing yourself while on failblog means you've failed twice as hard as if you pee yourself anywhere else.

I have SC4 installed, but I suck so much at it that every time I have attempted to play the result has been me rolling around on the floor in a fit while the city burns under an acrid cloud of pollution, the screen turns red with traffic jams, and my advisers have heart attacks. Even more amusingly, every few weeks it will suddenly hit me what the solution is, and I will go back into the game to start a new city with a most sincere expectation that this time all will work out. Rinse and repeat.

hanging their hopes on Cities XL, a game currently in development by Monte Cristo, the same company who produced City Life. Oh, yes. I can see how this makes sense. Pin all your hopes on Monte Cristo, in case their third stab at the genre is miraculously less fail than their previous attempts. Come to think of it, has Monte Cristo produced any game that wasn't wtf and stupid and lose and utter fail, EVER? Their list of games reads like a bad joke.

What confuses me is that there isn't really a good replacement for SC4 out there. Where did all those people who like city building go? We had the god-awful Sim City Societies, which we know failed very hard, and we had the god-awful City Life, which I haven't bothered to check on lately but assume also failed very hard... so what did the rats abandon the SC4 ship for? It may have been derelict, but there was nothing else in the water to cling to.

Does something actually break that can't be fixed with either an in-game tool or SimPE? DNA data isn't something that we can't access, after all.
I use a couple of custom eyes and skins, but I'm not worried since I haven't found a reason to remove them in several years.

So Sims 3 is like Sims 2's inbred cousin. This will be helpful when the family you aren't currently playing decides to hold a marriage between the uncle and the newly-adult daughter in your absence. Rather than hollering WTF!?, you'll have expected it to happen.

TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: No Option to Go Jogging

You need at least 3 fitness interest points before the option appears. Check your sim's info under interests. If jogging has been unlocked, it will tell you so. It is possible to be fit without having an interest in fitness, but it's unlikely that many of your sims would have managed it, since almost everything that can make sims fit will also build interest in fitness. It probably is a bad hack though, especially since a sim rolled a want for it. Mine rarely roll a want to do an unlockable unless they've unlocked it or are very close to unlocking it.

I am sure there will still be FIRE.
No there won't be. Haven't you been paying attention? The sims are now smart and take care of their needs. They do not need to be babysat or rescued from their own stupidity. Therefore, locking them in a closet with nothing but a bbq is not going to work anymore. They'll probably whip an axe out of their butt and knock a hole in the wall to escape.

That diagonal wall and door are troubling me. My experience with such has definitely been on the not so good side.
I'll have to see what the builders come up with. So far I've downloaded just about every house that's been renovated.

You mean the ones in the SC4Terrains folder?
Safe.
However, at random times, the game may decide to copy them back over from the C:\Program Files\EA Games\ directory, so if you want them gone permanently, as opposed to having to delete them every time the game decides to copy them over again, you'll need to delete them from there, too.

Picture doesn't do them justice. The Singles have the exact same vacant, glassy-eyed expressions that sims in Sims 3 have, and their faces are waxy. Plus, like the sims in Sims 3, their heads are too small for their oddly-shaped bodies. That whole "I'm melting! I'm melting!" thing is just awful. I think the similarity is why I can't stand the look of Sims 3. The Singles looked so bad... there are no words for how bad they looked.

Here's a picture for you all to ponder. Sims 3? No, it's not. But it sure looks like it, doesn't it? It's the Sims 2 clone, The Singles. So, basically, this is where the hideous sims in Sims 3 are coming from. Rofflecopterbuscuitsbbqmylittleponies!!1!!!! Except the joke is on anyone stupid enough to buy this crap.
