TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Harvester Issues?

I can't speak for the pool thing, but I actually did notice a problem tonight with my Sim's harvester in that he couldn't move it out of his inventory, and he has been opting for a taxi when he has a very expensive vehicle in his inventory....but I didn't put that down to the harvester also in his inventory.
ETA: Once I restarted the game, having installed the latest AM, it works fine again.

TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Photography Wants Borked?
|

My Sim keeps rolling wants to make certain amounts (2500, 5000, 10000) in selling photographs, but no matter how much money she makes by selling photographs, these wants never get fulfilled, and the want doesn't seem to register any money she makes selling the photos at all. Is there some sort of special trick to fulfilling these wants, or is it just borked? Clarity: These wants:

I can't seem to get the Shower in a Can photographed, the only thing that ever pops up is Object (Still Life). Is this broken, and can it be added to your mod?
I remember seeing this somewhere on here before, but I don't remember where (maybe it's in this thread, but I really don't know). Anyway, apparently that's an "action shot", so it needs to be someone USING the shower in a can. I looked through this thread but didn't see it. Why would it be under travel if it's an action shot? Thanks for the info though.

TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Stupid Sims 3 patch

I've read that steps, it hasn't worked for me... I prefer "blunt" but working. This is like my problem with Riverview, It's just that my IQ has a negative value or I'm cursed.
The steps work. If they are not working for you, it is because you are not following them. It isn't our job to hand-hold you or spend hours making up for your stupidity. I had to uninstall an expansion pack and reinstall due to a changed file with this patch. I managed to do so without coming here to whine about it, nor did I even need to check some guide. It's a rather elementary process. Oh... haven't find it out...good for you... so why are you posting? Duh, she posted to call you a dumbass. Maybe you should uninstall the game and call it a day?

Has anyone been able to photograph the Shower in a Can and have it register properly under the Travel photo collection? That's the only thing missing for me in that collection, but no matter how much I fiddle with the camera and zooming, positioning, etc., all I can get to come up is object (still life)

Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Sims starving to death

The second my Sim arrived at the Academy, two Sims that were perfectly happy and playing on the Sim Fu training dummies suddenly stopped and died. I had already been focused on the lot waiting for her to get there and nothing seemed out of the ordinary until she arrived, and then it all happened all at once. Like Trubble, I took the opportunity to get a few photos that I was missing.

Any chance the inventables & sculptables are available separately for those who don't want the crap bloated hair and other files in their game? Otherwise, I'm just going to live with the occasional red boxes and sell them when they come up.
Never mind, I'll separate them myself.

I've gotten that three times now, I think, all in various sculpted forms (like stone, ice and wood). I just let her continue and then sell it. The only thing it seems to go through is the block of material itself - it's not a graphical error.

Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AWESOMEMOD 4.0.87 (AMB) TEST THREAD
|

Okay so I am getting the random deaths while on vacation. Was at China with my fambly and about 3 different sims from the area died, no reason at all they were just using the martial arts training board and dropped dead randomly, it looked liked they starved to death. I tried to play chess for their lives, but the Grim Reaper ignored me.
That's a WA problem. Not long after I installed WA I had a holiday end prematurely because one of the sims who died at the Academy was apparently important in some quest (even though none of the sims in my game had any unfinished opportunities at the time). My daughter suggested adding some way for non-playable sims to eat, so I added a fridge and table & chairs to the Academy lot (I put them in a corner of the lot that I was unlikely to focus the camera on, so they wouldn't distract from the atmosphere), and the Academy deaths stopped happening in my game. I did the same thing, but the deaths are still happening for me. I have a fridge, grill & a picnic table. No go. They're still dying from starvation.
