The owners of Sims 2 Artists and TSR have history of the not-good variety.  I wouldn't be surprised.

Little behind the times, Erry.  Check the page right before this one.

Simsample made Sanctuary, which is actually really nice, but very large. He also includes custom lots.

This thread just got a tiny bit creepy.

Only a tiny bit?

Turn on testingcheats if it's not already on, and then shift-click on it, and choose Object > Delete.  I had the same thing happen and it worked for me fine.
57  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Harvester Issues? on: 2010 July 30, 10:58:37
I can't speak for the pool thing, but I actually did notice a problem tonight with my Sim's harvester in that he couldn't move it out of his inventory, and he has been opting for a taxi when he has a very expensive vehicle in his inventory....but I didn't put that down to the harvester also in his inventory.

ETA: Once I restarted the game, having installed the latest AM, it works fine again.
58  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Can't replace with newer version of AM on: 2010 July 28, 03:26:21
If you have it still in the old file place (in Program Files), try putting it in the new one, in My Docs.
59  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Egypt: Morucorp/Vaughan basement - where's the boss's door gone? on: 2010 July 24, 18:27:45
The one you're describing is the one with all the floor switches like a telephone.  In that one, all you have to do is hack the computer.  The Black Bag job is the one with the bribe in the first room, and then the computer to hack in the second room.

Your memory is fading.  The one with two doors is the Black Bag job.   That one you're describing is a different one.
61  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Photography Wants Borked? on: 2010 July 24, 09:43:20
My Sim keeps rolling wants to make certain amounts (2500, 5000, 10000) in selling photographs, but no matter how much money she makes by selling photographs, these wants never get fulfilled, and the want doesn't seem to register any money she makes selling the photos at all.  Is there some sort of special trick to fulfilling these wants, or is it just borked?

Clarity: These wants:

Nope, it's valid.  I confirmed it, so thanks for the info.  Now I just need to figure out how to capture lovers in the various vacation worlds, because I never see them.

I can't seem to get the Shower in a Can photographed, the only thing that ever pops up is Object (Still Life).  Is this broken, and can it be added to your mod?

I remember seeing this somewhere on here before, but I don't remember where (maybe it's in this thread, but I really don't know). Anyway, apparently that's an "action shot", so it needs to be someone USING the shower in a can.

I looked through this thread but didn't see it.  Why would it be under travel if it's an action shot?  Thanks for the info though.

66  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Stupid Sims 3 patch on: 2010 July 18, 04:01:12
I've read that steps, it hasn't worked for me... I prefer "blunt" but working. This is like my problem with Riverview, It's just that my IQ has a negative value or I'm cursed.
The steps work. If they are not working for you, it is because you are not following them. It isn't our job to hand-hold you or spend hours making up for your stupidity.

I had to uninstall an expansion pack and reinstall due to a changed file with this patch. I managed to do so without coming here to whine about it, nor did I even need to check some guide. It's a rather elementary process.

Oh... haven't find it out...
good for you... so why are you posting?

Duh, she posted to call  you a dumbass.

Maybe you should uninstall the game and call it a day?
67  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Ambitions: What's borked on: 2010 July 14, 21:50:52
Has anyone been able to photograph the Shower in a Can and have it register properly under the Travel photo collection? That's the only thing missing for me in that collection, but no matter how much I fiddle with the camera and zooming, positioning, etc., all I can get to come up is object (still life)

The second my Sim arrived at the Academy, two Sims that were perfectly happy and playing on the Sim Fu training dummies suddenly stopped and died.  I had already been focused on the lot waiting for her to get there and nothing seemed out of the ordinary until she arrived, and then it all happened all at once.  Like Trubble, I took the opportunity to get a few photos that I was missing.

70  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Sims starving to death on: 2010 July 06, 10:09:10
I did that but it didn't stop anything for me.  Next time I visited, two Sims died one after the other of starvation.  They had a grill and a fridge.
71  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Ambitions: What's borked on: 2010 July 04, 07:30:53
Any chance the inventables & sculptables are available separately for those who don't want the crap bloated hair and other files in their game? Otherwise, I'm just going to live with the occasional red boxes and sell them when they come up.

Never mind, I'll separate them myself.
72  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Ambitions: What's borked on: 2010 July 03, 06:46:34
I've gotten that three times now, I think, all in various sculpted forms (like stone, ice and wood).  I just let her continue and then sell it.  The only thing it seems to go through is the block of material itself - it's not a graphical error.
73  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2010 July 01, 19:40:15
Well, I know it's only a freebie, but if anyone wants it, this is the untouched Sims3Pack.

Did you fix the no-cars-parked-at-homes thing?  I still see none with the new Awesomemod of 2010-Jun-29 04:53:04.
75  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AWESOMEMOD 4.0.87 (AMB) TEST THREAD on: 2010 June 27, 06:13:50
Okay so I am getting the random deaths while on vacation. Was at China with my fambly and about 3 different sims from the area died, no reason at all they were just using the martial arts training board and dropped dead randomly, it looked liked they starved to death. I tried to play chess for their lives, but the Grim Reaper ignored me.

That's a WA problem.

Not long after I installed WA I had a holiday end prematurely because one of the sims who died at the Academy was apparently important in some quest (even though none of the sims in my game had any unfinished opportunities at the time).   My daughter suggested adding some way for non-playable sims to eat, so I added a fridge and table & chairs to the Academy lot (I put them in a corner of the lot that I was unlikely to focus the camera on, so they wouldn't distract from the atmosphere), and the Academy deaths stopped happening in my game.

I did the same thing, but the deaths are still happening for me.  I have a fridge, grill & a picnic table.  No go.  They're still dying from starvation.
