Looks like me being stupid combined with the prebuilt houseboats being hideous then.

I like the idea of houseboats, it's just a bit crap that they're all big square lumps with no effort to make them a bit more boat shaped.

I was having the same thing, sounds would shut off or one of the background noises would get stuck looping, the game would also lag terribly while it was happening. It seemed to be related to sims using bicycles. I deleted all the bicycles my sims owned and it hasn't happened since.

So from the patch notes "The "Intrigued by Great Lecture" moodlet now has an icon" Does this mean that the great lecture repeating forever and borking romance and funny socials is also fixed? I see no mention of it but it seems odd to only fix the icon.

She doesn't have a moodlet. Resetsim and fixall do not fix it and neither does quitting the job. She does have a friendly interaction "give great lecture" which disappears when she quits work. I presume the moodlet the other sims have is supposed to be associated with this and something is making it fire all the time.

My level 10 education sim appears to have a great lecture aura. Whenever she's in the room all other sims get an "intrigued by great lecture" moodlet with no icon. This wouldn't be so bad but it prevents her from doing any non friendly interactions. eg she'll be joking with somebody but it won't let her advance past being amusing because the great lecture keeps flicking back to "x thinks x is okay"

I don't know if this is an ambitions bork or something related to awesomemod. I'm not using any other mods except for the photography fix.

Neat sims get an option to clean the house by clicking on the floor, this seems to work exactly as macrotastics.
Vegetarian sims are able to cook fish dishes which make them sick, although they can also cook ambrosia which doesn't. And since meat apparently grows on trees now vegetarianism seems rather obsolete.
Slobs appear to flood the bathroom after bathing/showering 100% of the time, they can lick plates clean but these don't magically vanish as in sims 2.
Evil sims can steal candy from babies, and keep getting wants to donate money to undermine charities which seems largely cosmetic as it works the same as good sims donating to charity.

My neat/green thumb sim appears to have some options similar to macro > clean and macro > garden. She has a "clean house" action by clicking on the floor indoors and "tend to plants" will apparently deal with all of them that need any kind of attention. I don't know if these are trait specific or if anybody gets them but it's a nice improvement over unmodded TS2.

The reloaded iso is the digital download version, as can be seen in the EULA that everybody clicks past without reading:

So that would explain the phoning home, no idea why it's on an iso though.

I am having a problem where a family/knowledge sim is getting the negative memory for engagement, her partner who is knowledge/family gets the positive one and they've both rolled wants to get engaged. Wondering if this is related to the freetime bug with secondary aspirations that I believe one of the patches fixed.

edit: I tried removing my downloads folder and it still happens so presumably not a hack causing it. It's also happening after I reset her LTA points.

I am using the latest version and still getting an adjust menu with the sole option of "threshold +100". All the other settings including those for threshold are under nudist options but this one appears to have been missed. I'm Using the UK english version of the game with all expansions if that's relevant.
