Msalwaysright already covered Madonna on page two here. Oh, geez, sorry Denimjo..Thank you for pointing that out.. I'll remember to run my posts things by you in future. Flower, I really don't mean this as a poke, but the thing is that the exact same sim Madonna was already posted. I could be totally wrong, but it didn't seem to me as if Denimjo was trying to make fun of you. I thought that she was just letting you know. And considering MATY mean-ness I think that she could have probably gotten away with really mocking you in a pretty mean way without much anger from the masses. I mean, when someone does something foolish like not read the thread before posting in it they are liable to get much worse harassment than Denimjo's simple poke at you. And like I said, I am not picking on you, I am trying to explain what I think is a misunderstanding. Think of me as a peace negotiator.

TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Number of sims on community lots

I use that code in my userstartup. My videocard is on the lower end of supported for nightlife, I believe. Way below specs for seasons or for what BV claims to require. Yet via magic and the power of my love for my laptop she manages to play the sims with all EPs almost flawlessly with all graphics settings on high. No reflections, no fish because I'm not trying to push it. The point is that the game feels that I should have no more than 2 visitors on com lots or at parties. I raised that to 10 and its all working beautifully. So, I do see a wide variation in how many sims go to each lot as compared to other comm lots and it varies from visit to visit on the same lot. An example: I created a community lot that contains 2 bowling alleys, a chess set, 2 videogame machines, a stereo, a pool table, a photobooth, and some shopping. According to a previous poster the high number of group/comm lot activities this lot should usually run towards the 10 sim limit. But sometimes I will only get 5 or 6. I always thought that is was partially dependant on what time the sim arrives, but that could just be coincidence and totally L&P. If my sim arrives at 5 am it seems that fewer sims arrive on the lot than if the sim arrives at 10 pm. On a related note, I wonder if the sims that you bring with you count towards that upper limit. When I bring the whole family for a saturday evening outing it sems that fewer other sims arrive. When I bring the teenager out for a night on the town more sims seem to arrive. Does anyone know if this is sadorandom or acurate? Maybe I should do some testing. Oh yeah, my point! Ahem. In conclusion, adding the maxnum code to the user startup works to raise the number of sims able to come to parties and the number allowed to visit comm lots. I experimented and found a number that worked well on my individual machine before adding it to my userstartup.cheat. obviously picking a number that's too high will have lagging consequences. There will be variations per lot and possibly per visit.

Strawberry limonade (2 strawberries + 2 lemons) gives your sim platinum mood, it is strawberry juice (2 strawberries) that clears furiousness.
Oops! My mistake. I always get those two confused because I never use them. I like fury! And typically making a sim go platinum requires minimal effort. During the hostel challenge I was supised by how often my non-fortune sims managed platinum without help from me.

Strawberry lemonade will fix furiousness. You're not going to find much help for an anti furious hack here, though. This is the home of the enemies accumulate hack, which basicaly does the opposite (it keeps them enemies by not allowing the slide back towards 0 to happen and encourages the already enemy sims to harass each other more). Pescado is not likely to make a lets be best friends!!!1 type hack. That said I am sure that you could find something like that using the search bar on MTS2 or insim. Or figure out how to get some strawberry lemonade. The following your sim around thing annoys me, too. You're right, why bother with gather casual group if they all stalk you? That sounds more like Pescado's style, but it is not one that I've seen on this site or anywhere. I don't know what to tell you for a workaround...maybe see if you can ask one or to to join an activity and then go on to the next thing. They might continue with the activity. I usually just ignore the stupid follower sims and do whatever activity my sim wants to do. After awhile ACR kicks in and the group starts wandering off towards photobooths and hottubs.

This last one made me think of Waiting For Godot. I think that a lot of people think that if they write something disjointed where nothing actually happens then it will seem really deep and intense. Possibly because they missed the point of Godot. Or maybe they've never heard of Godot and I'm giving this writer way too much credit. It felt like it was trying to be riddled with significance, though.

Mama : she went ghost Everyone : HA HA HA HA But this one was so funny and original! And OH NOES! I can't take the cliffhanger ending! When will there be a part two!?! They've got a murdress in their midst! ::panics and loots the forum:: You managed to read the entire thing? I'm impressed. My brain went OW after the "interviews". So far the only one I haven't been able to finish was the Columbine one. I think that for the purposes of the actual contest that one was the clear winner. But let's just keep doing this forever anyway. It's fun! They make me giggle and then I can rate the story as "horrible" and pull down the four or five star rating that they all seem to have.

Oops...Silly me, I always RTFM, but I guess I missed the clearly marked bright red lettering. After the first few hacks I downloaded from you I started skipping over the directions and warning of potential impending doom type stuff, so I must have figured that it was part of that. ::blush:: Anyway, I don't care if they are hanging out with the lowly mail guy when they are the CEO so I'd like a version that doesn't include the nofrat if possible (pretty please), but I know you have a million things going on right now so it's not terribly important. I know I could use monique's version but I prefer your hacks so I'd rather keep this one in as is than download hers. Plus, for some reason I get walkbys about 10 times a day instead of the usual 4 so my sims don't really have trouble meeting new people.

Actually, ste, I was wondering if this was just sadorandom or a problem with the hack...Since downloading it NO ONE has brought a friend home. I think I downloaded this within a week of you posting it. I don't use no frat. The weird thing is that schoolbus bring friend works fine and so does the welcome wagon dialog. I know those aren't your hacks, but you mentioned that you borrowed the school bus code, so I thought that maybe it would be helpful to mention that that one is working normally.

I saw a tutorial somewhere once that showed in pictures step by step how to get all of the deaths. I can't remember where, though. The way they got death by flies to work was to use some fences (walls would work to) to make a one square wide and about 10 square long tunnel. They ordered a pizza and then had the sim try to dispose of the pizza, then cancelled it and repeated until 9 of the squares had a garbage pile in it. Then they closed the opening in the fence so that the sim couldn't get out and told the sim to go sit in the chair (walking through all of the piles). They said that it might take two or three times walking back and forth like that. I imagine that you could use the same method with dirty plates. The important thing was that it was only one tile wide so the sim had a higher chance of stepping on top of the fly covered objects rather than around them.

i realize i'm late, but has anyone looked at this guy's website? LOL. he has pornographic pictures of himself scattered about and looks suspiciously like openhousejack. YIKES! I wish I hadn't gone to that website. Couldn't finish watching the video either, because the song was making my head implode. I realize I could have turned off my speakers, but the agony made me reach for the quickest fix. Exit. Okay...It's time for a heart wrenching, tear jerker of a confession... I can't be the only one who remember this song, right? It's the Spice Girls. I know this because I was 12 at the time (real actual 12) and.....and....I can't say it! I may have gone to one of their concerts and been a huge fan...But I swear it was nothing more than my burgenoning lesbianism being fueled by the promise of skantily clad women dancing!::hysterical sobs::

STRAIGHTEN THEM UP! You should say things like, 1. "What are you selling?" 2. "Is it dangerous?" 3. "Is it illegal?" 4. Even if they say it will not hurt you, don't ever take ANYTHING from strangers. 5. "How much does it cost?" The students were students, but since I cannot take care of more then 7 sims, I used them for the drug sellers. They were acting for the drug selling, and they are REALLY students. Phew! I thought they were really drug dealers! It makes me feel a lot better to know that they were just acting! Especially that Jason kid, he seemed to know a little *too* much about drugs... Also, why can't she take care of more than 7 sims for long enough to write a story? Is the lot filled with those things that shoot flames from the ground?

Well, apparently on the crazy planet that these "writers" come from there is no such thing as spell check. And periods are only things that you miss after being raped until you give birth to twins. I definitely feel that making fun of bad exchange stories needs to become a staple of MATY culture. We could do this forever, I suspect.

Zeljka, I always play with boolprop on (which around here we usually refer to as debug mode, I am explaining this for the OP's benefit). I would be worried if every time you go to a community lot you're getting errors nonstop. That may indicate a VBT. The first thing that I would do would be to open up some of those error logs and read them. Some of it might be unintelligible, but some of it might say something like unexpected end of array and an object name. Remove any objects mentioned in the log and try again. If you can't understand the logs or there are no helpful keywords run a hack conflict detection utility like Paladins found at www.simwardrobe.com. If that's a no go post the error logs in the podium. Turning off debug mode isn't stoping those millions of comm lot errors from occuring, its just making them invisible to you.

The pot object by katy on mts2 was a disaster for me. It threw errors the minute I popped it down on the lot, it flashed and disappeared when it felt like it, and then it got stuck so I had to use stuck object burnination box to kill it. Fortunately it was in my test hood. There is another pot object out there, can't remember who makes it, but as far as I know its the only other one. I'm pretty sure its on mts2 as well, but with all this pixelated pot I'm trying its hard to recall. Anyway, that one didn't glitch or act funky but the drop the sims get in their hunger bar from smoking it could be lethal in about 10 to 20 sim minutes. It doesn't boost fun enough to be worth the whole death trap thing. Plus you have to grow it yourself from garden plots that can only be removed with moveobjects on.

I never bothered with MM or SS because I figured TS2 was coming out so soon the last two EPs were just going to be thrown together garbage or a last ditch attempt to get 40 more dollars out of me before I spent another 40 on TS2 and never use any of the TS1 games again. I'm kind of happy with that choice because once I got TS2 I couldn't go back and I haven't played TS1 again since. I'm sure I still have the CDs around somewhere, but I don't know where. I don't know if I'll buy the last few EPs for TS2 or no. I'll probably get Bon Voyage because I really did like Vacation a lot. I guess it depends on how excited I am by the prospect of TS3. So far there isn't any solid information about it, and if it's not mod-friendly I doubt I'll buy it until someone figures out how to mod it. But it sounds like most of you really enjoyed the last two EPs for TS1, so maybe I did miss out on something. I'd love some opinions!

Kathy: Look i know this may come as a shock, but me and my girls had to move in with Justice since we got evicted, but i have always been in the picture. now i am tellin you to step off.
Kaliak: Who do you think you are? I have never heard anything about any kids, or any other women at all. I have been with J for almost over 4 months, and i have been to his house a number of times and never did i hear about you or see anything to even hint you existed. This reads like a Jerry Springer episode. Evadentally. Kathy: Dont try to get all lovey dovey wit my child, SHE AINT YOURS. Raven: Ignore her she gets like this at times. Kaliak: Thank you, but trust me i can handle anything she throws at me I WILL be marring your father in a matter of months. Raven: Kool Kathy: Yeah right HAHAHA Finally some realistic dialouge! 16 years later Randy still has not changed and rapes me every time my mom goes to work He came and took me to the bed. When we got there he ripped off my clothes and thrust me under the covers. He raped me for a wholr hour before he let me go... My life sucks.. It turns out that I am right and that I am pregnant. I can not let Randy know about this baby. I have decided that tonightI will run away and get my own house for my baby. After all if it stays here who know's what will happen to it. So let's review EA policy...You can't talk about sim's toilet behaviors, inteen, "adult" mods or objects, or rape mods or anything even remotely related on the BBS. But you can use as many of them as you'd like to create your story which you can share on their exchange. Discussion of these topics would apparently raise the almighty T-Rating of the game, but taking photographs and depicting incestual rape that leads to teen pregnancy is ok and won't raise said rating? And if it's graphic you might even get a 4 star rating!!!11!!!!one

My memory must be fuzzy, I don't recall ever getting a monkey looking stripper. I always got a pretty one in a little black teddy type outfit. But it was so long ago now... Ah, simpler days when sim children were pointless and creepy.
