My legacy spares, who were both about to be killed off due to old age, got a lamp. Bah. The Aspirs also got a second lamp, but that was because of the borked gypsy when their kid wanted a date. I would like to humbly direct you to this fine fellow's fix. TwoJeffs is definitely one of the best when it comes to making fixes.

Nah, just going by the more visible 'OMG! We've already HAD a thread about that in the long past!' histrionics I've seen here. Necromancy seems to be considered less evil than making a 'useless' thread that would likely have gotten directed to this one anyways.

Hey, Ailias, a tip. Before you CARRY ON POSTING, have a look at the time stamp of the threads. It's now MARCH. This thread stopped discussion in OCTOBER. Generally, don't post in a thread older than three months.
*jemjie waits for the pointy sticks to come out*
I think it's generally preferred for people to post in an already existing thread than to start a new one, so I think this is fine. 1. Because unless you use default replacement facial templates, they're generated from the Maxis-provided templates. Hence, ugly. 2. ... what? If I understand what you're saying, simply X out of the action or else look for a No Autonomous mod for the pirate game. 3. Try canceling the action.

Well, now that I've thought about it, perhaps she meant that there was to be no sleeping their way to the top. You know, seducing the boss and whatnot. I've seen a popup where a Sim has 'pulled some strings' to get another Sim promoted. Maybe that's what the restriction was meant to have you avoid. Not likely, but there's a tiny chance.
And maybe by EAxis-created Sim she actually meant a townie/NPC and not a playable (which would mean you could still keep your semi-attractive Sims to marry).

I hope you don't mind my doing this, Havelock, but I thought that some people might want to know which outfit was which so I took screenshots in BodyShop and have posted pics to help people figure out what file is what in case they only want certain sets. I'm only posting sample pics of the adult sets, but I'd imagine the teens, children and elder sets would be labeled the same way (I haven't checked yet). Bear in mind I am not posting every single recolor, just a sample of what each set looks like. If you want just a certain set, make sure you use the proper mesh. Female clothesEveryday wear: afbodynativecasualeightafbodynativecasualsixafbodyshamanafbodynativecasualten. Formal wear afbodynativeformal and afbodynativeformalthree. Undies afbodynativeunderwearPajamas afbodynativepajamas. Swimwear afBodyNativeSwimwear_suit. This is the part where people might get confused: the athletic wear is also labeled as afbodynativeswimwear. The difference? The swimwear version has none of the white skin markings. Also, the swimwear has different caps in the file name. Look closely at the name of these links to distinguish. Male clothes:Casual ambodynativecasualnineambodynativecasualsixambodyshamanambodynativecasualten. Formal wear ambodynativeformalambodynativeformaltwo. Underwear ambodynativeunderwearPajamas ambodynativepajamas. Swimwear ambodynativeswimwear. Athletic wear ambodynativeactivewear~~~~~~~~~ For anyone not in the know, af = adult female and am = adult male, so finding the proper set for the other age groups will likely be as easy as replacing the first two letters with the age group: cm = child male cf = child female tm = teen male tf = teen female em = elder male ef = elder female.

Pleasure Sim with a LTW of 50 First Dates strikes me as possibly the best for this challenge.
Yeah, but remember that when a Sim goes onto a date, their wants get rerolled so you wouldn't be allowed to fulfill ANY of the wants rolled up for the date. Hmm, on second thought, maybe that would make it a real challenge.

I haven't read this entire thread, so I don't know if this has been posted yet or not. I sent my plat aspiration sim into the energizer and he came out with all his bars red! Try reading backwards through this thread. A fix was implemented by TwoJeffs AND Crammyboy (but choose only one).

And what's with the penalties for "premarital woohoo?" Seems rather pointless. Also, what do you have against kissing? So woohoo within marriage is fine, but kissing (whether premarital or not) is not? You're a weirdo, you know that?

Excellent, thanks! Might I assume that the outfit that the teen girl is wearing is also available in the adult form?
What do the 21/16/14 Kb sizes indicate? Thus far I see that the adult clothing is 20.8 MB in size.

Crash: to change a skin tone, here's what you do:
1). Open the Neighborhood. 2). Select Sim Browser and then select a Sim that has any other skin tone (preferably one with a Maxis skin tone). 3). When their info comes up, click on the More button and select SimDNA. 4). Copy one of the lines of code from the Skin tone line (doesn't matter if it's recessive or dominant) and paste it into a notepad document. 5). Go back to Sim Browser and select the problem Sim. 6). Click on the More button and then Sim Dna. 7). Paste the skin tone line of code you copied earlier over both the Dominand AND recessive codes. Save.
Enter the game again and (just for good measure) have that Sim go to a mirror to officially change their appearance. The new skin tone should show up. Then try aging them up again.

Easy enough to check (in a manner of speaking). Get the Beta SimPE for Free time and alter the skintone of the Sim in question and then try it again. Some questions, though:
1). Do you have access to the QA version of SimPE? 2). Do you know how to alter the skintone of the Sim?
#2 is easy to help you with, but you require SimPE to do it. If you need SimPE and are willing to try this, I can offer you a link to download it.

I'm terribly sorry. I did read the description but *thought* that it referred to indoor (as in a house grown with grow lights) plants. I have a few lots with that feature. So, I guess I thought wrong. Again, sorry for the trouble.
I thought the same thing. I wouldn't apologize; yelling at people for failing to read the manuals is a competitive sport around here. I agree. Also, you were yelled at by someone who is supposed to have souped a while back. Just continue ignoring her and maybe she'll go away.

I had sim twins age from child to teen the other day. One has a LTW and the other does not.......Weird
Most of the time, teens' LTWs don't show up until you fulfill a want for them. I expect the one teen had a Grow Up Well want that was fulfilled right away and the other one didn't.

Well i just deleted 4,000 of the little sucker file from this temp file there was a copy of like every down load I ever looked at
I assume temp files refers to your Temporary Internet Files. These are files such as images and whatnot that are stored on your computer to ease the speed of loading web pages you've previously visited. Deleting Temporary Internet Files is no big deal; it just means the pages you've previously visited will take a bit longer to load.
