I agree with Khaki. go to nvidia's website and get the drivers. I too have nvidia geforce 7950 GT, and it runs perfectly. Also, remember to check in your graphical settings that vertical sync is on.

The snow and temperature are actually entirely decoupled from each other. It is entirely possible to have snow, even snow accumulation, during the SUMMER when it's ROASTING HOT. This is actually amazingly funny to do with the weather machine. Personally, I think the weather machine should have only had the option for precipitation, and what you'd actually get would have depended on the temperature. As it stands, I have to change it MANUALLY, as I leave the thing on something most of the time to banish that Accursed Sun.
A usual charming eaxian solution then. I guessed as much. You're a force of nature, but not even an apocalypse can block out the sun Wink Thanks anyway.

I would also like to have sims actually change to outerwear when there's actual snow outside. It just looks bad when they flaunter around in the snow with only flipflops on. But hey, maybe thre's nothing anyone can do about it. Although I have a hard time believing Pescado couldn't do anything about it.  Tongue

Ah, it probably is the roof then. I know I used to cover with tiles in another lot when it snowed inside when I used the cone roof. I didn't think that the same could happen with other toofs aswell. How non-awesome of me.
It's pretty annoying how eaxis made those roofs then, how hard could it be to make that right? The roof are based on how many tiles it's placed on, right? The other stuff is just graphics, right? Or not.

I installed the hack and so far I've been most pleased by it. I even got a sim 'sunburned' which haven't happened that much before. I don't know why I was worried, maybe because I was non-awesomely ignorant of how the hack works. I did notice though, that my sims seem to be able to reach the blue level indoors in the winter - plus he did the 'ooh it's cold reaction' - I checked the roof, and it was intact. Not that I complain, I thought it was very realistic. My sims did get warm when she went to bed. Smiley The other sim got warm when she was napping on the sofa.

Is it normal to have a sim only roll one ltw? Even if I cycle the darn thing, only one comes up. The adult sims has fulfilled his former ltw before I installed the hack, so he's constant platinum. What is the lowest number of ltw that can be available in the roll cycle? I no longer have any non-awesome hacks in my hacks folder. I used to have squinge's college adjuster, but I figured it borked the FFS debugger, so I go rid of it.

So does this mean, theoretically, that if you let a sim read magazines to get their interest up in a particular area, they would eventually be able to roll new ltws?

Thanks very much for the answer. I'll try it out.  Tongue

I apologize for being non-awesome, I read the thread, but I am wondering if I should use hack when I happen to get invisible sims on the lot? And how? I have no clue - I don't even know if it's dangerous to have invisible sims on the lot.

I don't know if I should install this or not, since the new seasons patch. Although, maybe it's a good idea for my undead sims? Can someone please enlighten me about the differnce between this fix and the newest patch? Thanks.

I take it this hack is compatible with Seasons?

Dudes, do you know of any improvements with Vista?

---Vista HP
---Core 2Duo 6400
---2 gb RAM
---Nvidia GF 7950GT

I have all the expansions and SP's running. The performance coughs a bit sometimes - more lately - I don't think I need to whine, but I want to be sure I haven't missed anything I could do to improve performance. Smiley
