lol.  Nope not getting butthurt, sorry to disappoint you.

Oh yes, you are. I've seen some butthurt in my time, and this, my friend, looks like butthurt.
27  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: How do i know if awesome mod works? on: 2010 September 08, 16:05:26
Like i said, i did search for it. Fine if you don't want to give me a hint but can you at least (please!) tell me what to search for? Because i've been typing: Check function awesomemod, does awesomemod work etc. It keeps coming up with : no results.
Tried google too.

Send one dollar to PO Box 140306, Dallas, TX 75214. Then light candle and wait.

Okay, THIS and your handle is making me laugh.

Oh, well done! Witch gets the crown and a bag of slightly-fuzzy silly bands, and the scorn of all the blue hairs who have been playing Bingo in this hall for years.  Cheesy

"I thought we weren't supposed to talk about your personal life? Are you an ISFJ?"  I didn't come in here to talk about my life.  The conversation was started by someone else.  I've just been trying to finish it.  Would be nice if a MOD would show their face and take care of some of these jerks.

You realize that everything we know about you--your age, your genius or whatever, your living situation, your disability, you being a beta tester...this has all been voluntarily offered by you, right?
31  TS2: Burnination / The War Room / Re: NPC Santa in Sims 2 on: 2010 August 26, 22:25:00
Yeah, sure....you expect everyone to believe that you have NEVER asked for help a day in your life for ANYTHING?  Homework?  A job task?  Something around the house?  Sorry, I don't buy that at all.
I don't ask for help. It's not in my nature.

And yes, there is a difference between not being able to take care of yourself at all and needing help taking care of yourself.  I do most things just fine...I only need help with a few things.
Well, which is it? Are you completely dependent on your caregivers like you said before, or are you almost independent? You can't have both.
Quote
So stop saying I'm totally helpless and treating me like I'm a piece of shit.
Again, make me stop. If you think you can force me to stop, go ahead. As long as you can't, I'll say what I like.

I NEVER said I was completely dependent on my caregivers.  Those are YOUR words.  I never said that sentence.  I said my mother was my caregiver.  She helps me with things I can't do myself.  If you're going to quote me, you could at least get it right.

I thought we weren't supposed to talk about your personal life? Are you an ISFJ?

Oh, FirstofMay. Maybe you should go toddle around iVillage for a while before you come back here.

33  TS2: Burnination / The War Room / Re: NPC Santa in Sims 2 on: 2010 August 26, 15:42:49
Because it's just polite, that's why.  I wouldn't insult someone who just came to a forum to ask a question and posted in a section that clearly looked appropriate.  And I expect to be treated with the same respect.

Mire, is that you again? You are such a goose.
34  TS2: Burnination / The War Room / Re: NPC Santa in Sims 2 on: 2010 August 26, 15:25:45
And exactly what FAQ?  All I see is a Help button that explains about posting and such.  And I've looked at all the other threads here.  They seem very helpful, so why are you all attacking me instead of answering my original question about TS2?

Search moar. Typing "FAQ" into the search box in the top left corner of your screen yields pretty good results - all links found there thoroughly introduce you to the atmosphere of this place. And if you really had looked at all the other threads of this sub-forum, you'd have noticed that stupid, probably CC-related glitches like yours don't belong here.

Edit: Darn, typing too slow.

FYI, I DON'T HAVE any CC.  And if you had asked nicely instead of assuming, I would've told you that.  And if my type of post didn't belong here, all someone had to do is NICELY tell me where to post it or move it like someone did to another post of mine.  There was NO reason to be rude to someone, especially a newbie.

Why should we have to ask you anything, or speak to you nicely? Are you shitting golden eggs or something and feel like sharing? We don't know you, and we don't like you. And there is ALWAYS a reason to be rude. You have no clue where you are, do you? Turn tail and run, poppet.

If you have looked at every other thread here, then you would have seen the FAQ. I am on to you. You are like a low-budget version of the Sicilian, but possibly more of an asshat. I assume you are going back to school soon and then we won't have to worry about you anymore.

ETA: THIS IS THE WOAR ROOM, YOU CAN'T FIGHT IN HERE.
36  TS2: Burnination / The War Room / Re: NPC Santa in Sims 2 on: 2010 August 26, 14:49:54
I could do without the name calling, asshole!  How do you like it?

Uh, you know you're not addressing someone who goes by Kittens4Eva, right? You're funny.
37  TS2: Burnination / The War Room / Re: NPC Santa in Sims 2 on: 2010 August 26, 14:30:20
Why are you insulting me?  Seriously...I find neither of your posts necessary or remotely funny.  What does either have to do with my question?  Is this forum just to make fun of people?  If so, than it should be reported.  It was highly recommended to me by two people who have told me that there are smart people here who could help me.  But all I ever get are insults.  So sorry I bothered everyone with my silly little problem about TS2 (which this section of the forum is supposed to be about).  How about renaming the forum "We're Just Here to Insult and Make Fun of Everyone"? Bye. I'll post someplace else where people might actually be around to help.

OMG, it's onto us, everyone turn off the lights and be quiet!

FirstofMay, whoever recommended this place to you is either a great deal smarter and savvier than you are, or they were yanking your chain, which I can only assume has a fob shaped like a snowflake at the end. Read the FAQ, retard.
38  Serious Business / Spore Discussions / Re: I realize this forum is dead and buried....but I'm looking for mods. on: 2010 August 14, 06:39:10
Part of research is asking around. So there.

Part of research is understanding what sources are authoritative/useful to you. Is MATY authoritative? As I see it, yes. Are you despised here? It is decidedly so.

Totally the best part of this thread.

geeze guys I was just trying to show my inappropriate affection which developed as a result of him fixing my game.

Please read the FAQ, HAMTARD.

Do summer intern donkeys have any actual other use?

Yes, you can seduce them, make them run errands, or you can lead them around the office with a twenty on a fishing line.

Optional soundtrack. Or anything wacky from the 60s.
42  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: New Ambitions Shelf - Homage to MATY or Declaration of War? on: 2010 July 12, 00:54:51
Whether it is about MATY or not, they need to stop letting their drunken summer intern donkeys write their copy.

is probably why he souped after I "betrayed" him and yoinked the channel. Which actually just gave me a massive retroactive schadenfreude boost. The idiot was probably crying emo tears and cutting for weeks. Cheesy

45  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Paysites must be destoryed - been destroyed? on: 2010 June 30, 20:21:49
I thought the aim was to destroy paysites, not destory them? We don't care what their story is.

Getting pwned by pretty much everyone lately. You'd think is would discourage Claeric posting, but it would seem he's thicker skinned than an obese rhino.

47  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Still planing with TS2 anyone ? on: 2010 June 08, 17:36:51
ETA: Assmitten, IIRC you need to patch every single EP.  Supposedly it's better to have the original exe (and not the crack) in the relevant place when you do so, but I overwrote the original exe with the crack and I didn't have any trouble.

Thanks mang. I will give this a try. I was running off the FT crack, but left the original one in place and renamed it.
48  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Still planing with TS2 anyone ? on: 2010 June 08, 15:45:16
Hey, since this thread is open, and I mentioned earlier I am hella rusty, can anyone please tell me what the best tack to take with patching is? I got almost the whole shebang from Pirate Bay (most EPs and SPs) and I started playing and realized I probably need patches? Or should these versions be patched already? If so it looks like I have bigger problems, because I have the "sims cannot go to work" issue (action drops out of queue). I may need to reinstall, I dunno.

I got this one: http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/5524635/The_Sims_2__The_Complete_Collection_%5BFULL%5D___Games4theworld__

Thanks. I haven't done anything with TS2 for 18 months so it's fuzzy.

I was lucky enough to have a friend which borrowed me TS3

Well, Mr. Jolrei beat me to the...well, beatings, but I did want to say that I am installing ALL of TS2 right NOW. I have never had all of them before. I have not played in 18+ months. This is like Christmas but without Uncle Fritz passing out in a ditch somewhere.
