1  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Late Night Arr on: 2010 October 27, 12:47:01
I deleted the other torrent from Piratebay and went with the one with the BTArena tracker, and there was a slight difference in speed, but not by much.  I haven't broken 60 kps.  Only 4 are seeding.

ONLY ONE DAY TO GO THOUGH ZOMG.
2  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Late Night Arr on: 2010 October 26, 22:57:19
It does seem as if the reloaded release is out, I saw one on piratebay.
Anyone downloading?

I'm downloading.  If all checks out safely (and it finishes before someone else reports back first), I'll let people here know.
3  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Getting CC to work post Ambitions and 1.12 patch on: 2010 June 18, 23:56:14
My problem with loading hang ending up being a damn DEP problem.  Turned that off, and now the game loads no matter how many mods.  I don't know if that's the solution for others having the same problem, but there's another trick to try if you are.
4  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Getting CC to work post Ambitions and 1.12 patch on: 2010 June 10, 19:00:54
Yeah, I just noticed that.  Apparently, the information about there being a removal button for CAS and build custom content is misinformation?
5  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Getting CC to work post Ambitions and 1.12 patch on: 2010 June 10, 16:56:05
I've heard of others having the same problem, so I'm guessing that's borked until another patch.
6  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Getting CC to work post Ambitions and 1.12 patch on: 2010 June 07, 22:31:42
I guess I'll try doing that.  I'd removed them after reading posts that we don't need them anymore (and I thought they were the reason the game was hanging anyway).

Edit:  So far, so good.  All of Twallan's mods are working together again.  Now I'm putting Anach's back in there.  Here's hoping it goes well.

New edit:  Well, no luck.  Adding Anach's stuff (or any other updated mod) caused it to hang again.  I'm still wondering if I should just give up and use the old way of putting mods in the game because this is ridiculous.
7  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Getting CC to work post Ambitions and 1.12 patch on: 2010 June 07, 19:27:34
So it's Supercomputer that's causing trouble?  The latest version (that's what I'm running)?  Twallan said they all work fine in his game.  This is puzzling.
8  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Getting CC to work post Ambitions and 1.12 patch on: 2010 June 07, 12:27:39
Well, damn.  I don't understand why I'm the only one having these problems.
9  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Getting CC to work post Ambitions and 1.12 patch on: 2010 June 07, 00:13:05
A question for you all.  Is anyone having issues with global/core mods and never-ending game loading?  I'm only running mods that are supposed to be updated or working with Ambitions and the latest patch, and it seems that all I can get to work (as in, finish loading the game) are Twallan's Supercomputer, Career, DebugEnabler, and StoryProgressionExpanded, and then nointro from MTS and Rothchild's updated NoMosiac.  Of course, hairs, clothes, skins, and objects work fine, too.  If I try to add some of my other updated mods (like Anach's mods from the Pudding Factory or HP's No Zzzs and No Musical Notes from MTS), the loading bar goes all of the way and then hangs.

This is the first time I've ever encountered a problem like this with TS3 (yes, it's very reminiscent of the old days of Sim gaming).  I'd updated to run from MyDocs, and I'm wondering if I'd have less problems if I went back to the old way via Program Files.
10  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Lag due to (possible) sound file? on: 2009 December 22, 00:50:06
You don't have a generic (Realtek) HD Audio chipset/sound card by any chance, do you?  Mine does the exact same thing you described.

I hope this isn't another damn issue with Realtek HD Audio.  When I first set up this computer, I had to find a fix just to hear internet audio, so I wouldn't be surprised if the game hates this card, too.
11  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: WA Bug? on: 2009 November 22, 03:16:34
My mistake on that part.  However, are they still supposed to gain even whilst in a bad/dropping mood?  I thought it stopped then?
12  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: WA Bug? on: 2009 November 22, 02:37:08
That's just it -- they ARE still gaining even when their moods are low.  This is definitely different than what I've experienced with the base game.
13  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: WA Bug? on: 2009 November 22, 00:51:45
Nope, no candles lit.  Sim just married someone from China, and I noticed he's doing it, too, for whatever reason.
14  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: World Adventures Mods folder setup, and What works and what does not on: 2009 November 21, 17:20:17
Yeah, working on that currently.  Loading still hangs, either before the main menu or after loading a new game.  Weird.  I should also point out that custom hairs that are sims3packs run fine, but package files are a no-go.

And divalbw, NoMosiac works in that it still gets rid of the pixels, but it's affecting other things like fireworks and this damn sparkly shit that constantly hangs on my sim now.

15  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: World Adventures Mods folder setup, and What works and what does not on: 2009 November 21, 16:50:49
Hm, I've already moved my folders over to the WA section as was advised elsewhere on here (even though over at MTS they're telling people to leave them where they're meant to stay, so I'm not sure which information is correct now), and I already tried the delete caches method, but nothing.  It's not like my custom hairs are coming from some remote village in Turkmenistan (I'm sure the hairs I've got are the same ones others use), so I'm not sure why they aren't working for me.
16  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: WA Bug? on: 2009 November 21, 14:37:29
Uh, no, not in my game.  Yes, points went up as they were earned, but not 1 point per second of doing absolutely nothing in the game for fulfilling wishes (just standing idly).  And while things (like Observant) used to be 5000 points in the base game, they are now only 1 point.  This is still happening when the few mods I have (like NRaa supercomputer and nointro) are taken out.
17  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: WA Bug? on: 2009 November 21, 13:28:37
Speaking of bugs, does anyone else have Lifetime Happiness points going crazy?  Mine just keep going up by one every second and the price of the rewards have changed drastically.  Not sure if this is a glitch or a new feature.
18  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: World Adventures Mods folder setup, and What works and what does not on: 2009 November 20, 23:46:12
I'd like to know how anyone is getting custom hairs to load.  I put them in and bam!  Game will not load even after letting it go for a few hours to the main menu.

I've got Bloom's sexy feet, robokitty's face replacements and some patterns, HP's skins, and patterns by 2sims3.  All seem to work just fine.  I've not attempted any hacks yet other than the ones listed here because of the problems I'm having with custom hair crashing/stuffing up the game, so I'm trying to figure out what else (non-major hack) will bork it.

EDIT:  Spoke too soon, it appears.  Bloom's sexy feet loaded earlier, but crashed the game this time around.

Eh, it came from Delphy that his sliders shouldn't have a problem with the patch or WA, but who knows for sure.

Hey Zaphod - hope your not Blonde! As you would be twice as dumb. Just joking.  Smiley Wink

Any answers please?  Its probably right in front of my face (the answer), I can't find it though, I am blonde, j/k, no I really am blonde.

Please do not assume that all blonds are as dumb as you.

As others have pointed out, you're using core mods that aren't compatible...or perhaps you have some old mods that need to be updated.

It has animations.  Not sure if crying on command is one of them.  Anyone else know?
23  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Share pix / vidz of THE HORROR here on: 2009 October 03, 14:09:52
I was taking pictures for this dysfunctional family story I'm making, and without any help whatsoever, the little girl's creepy older brother got up in the middle of the night and just...stared...at her while she slept.  Did it for a while, too.

24  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Traits on: 2009 September 29, 18:32:19
Do those sims get a bunch of Hollywood celebs petitioning for their release, too?  Perhaps this should be the Polanski trait.
25  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Long pauses on: 2009 September 18, 16:57:45
Wow, GTA4 doesn't tax my dual core as bad as that, and yes, TS3 is taking 99% of processes (Sweet Jeebus) around the time of the pause, but the bastard is still responding, of course (even though you can't do jack in the game).
