Good then Im not the only one to have that call to dinner scenario. I panic when it is time to give a room tour.  One time the old goat didnt even give me a chance to show the room he picked up the guitar and started jamming and there was nothing I could do.
352  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Never date a waiter, and other things I've learned ... on: 2005 October 27, 20:09:10
I have had adults get teens as dates...I find it hard to believe there isnt at least one adult that he was more compatible with...I love newspaper stealing...I dont need them anyway...I have also done the find a new date before the old one is gone...The jilted date is in permanent furious state since I dont play her I guess.

um...ewww... is there a hack in there?  teens?
353  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Roses PLUS a hot tub?? on: 2005 October 26, 19:59:44
IM not sure if it matters but my sim had a date with that townie River in downtown.  Could the neighborhood make a difference?
354  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Roses PLUS a hot tub?? on: 2005 October 26, 18:04:13
I love the roses. I put them on the table and it looks so nice.

Honey, I've got 'em on the mantelpiece (you can fit 3), the coffee table, on end tables, the desk, the floor, the porch, the yard ... I've started leaving 'em where they're left, they've got so many. Three people living in the house (two sisters, one sister's fiance) and they're still in college ... at last count there were 20 dozen roses and one single rose in a vase (off night).

That's what happens when a romance sim shares a house with a couple. The house is a buzzin with love.  Wink

Yes, they're pretty, I agree ... but it's going to be a nightmare figuring out whose are whose when they graduate.

Oh my goodness...that is too many flowers. If they just died then you could throw them out. Deletion?
355  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Roses PLUS a hot tub?? on: 2005 October 26, 16:59:58
I love the roses. I put them on the table and it looks so nice. They like to sit near them too.  I just wish I could center them in the middle. I have always hated that about the sims- no centering.
356  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Roses PLUS a hot tub?? on: 2005 October 26, 16:37:23
My alien sim got the dj dance booth plus a dozen roses on her dream date. It must have been real good.  Maybe thats a teen thing. Anybody else get the dj booth?

358  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Things We've Learned From The BBS on: 2005 October 25, 03:01:44
In the beginning, I found the BBS pretty useful and helpful. I realised it all was going downhill when the "What should I name my sim" posts started to spread out like a virus. Roll Eyes I mean the best thing I learned from the BBS is that it makes a BIG deal for gameplay if you name your sim Cynthia instead of Cindy! Shocked

So of course you need to consult other simmers about this huge dilemma since your game will explode into a big fiery ball visible from space if God forbid! you give your sim the "wrong" name. And of course you need to give the fellow simmers lot's of "benes" cause they helped you save your game from ultimate doom! Roll Eyes

Ah..so glad we have the BBS to help us out with these important issues.... So what do you guys think is the BESTEST namo for my female simo? I was thinking Betty but maybe it would trigger the jump bug to appear... BTW..I already tried "boolprop" to fix this... And I don't use hacks, they are evil..possesed by satan himself! Roll Eyes

hee..hee  you forgot the name my baby threads..... *love your avatar -I love it when they stare right into your soul*
359  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: save the trees? on: 2005 October 24, 04:46:42

360  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: save the trees? on: 2005 October 24, 04:07:26

361  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Trogdor on: 2005 October 23, 12:46:36
Thank you for clearing that up. Guess I hit a spam site or some other crap site. Any thoughts on msn?  I dont use mine but its there.
362  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Trogdor on: 2005 October 23, 01:34:03
I was checking into firefox because everyone is crazy about and that want me to pay for it. Sorry but IE is good enough and its free. IF I have to pay it better come to my house and do my laundry and clean.
363  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: My alien teen has no face...is there a fix? on: 2005 October 22, 23:03:45
I wish I had now...auggh!!!
364  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: My alien teen has no face...is there a fix? on: 2005 October 22, 20:55:46
I created an alien family in CAS! and loaded them into a house.  As you can see from the pic, the teenage son now has no face. All other members are fine. I tried deleting him and re-entering the lot but that didn't fix it. I tried 'change appearance' with a mirror but can't get the alien head to show up, just hair etc. of course. Any solution, or must Lobong die an untimely death? Thanks

I had that happen as well. I had been playing my alienitis family for awhile and I went back into it and it was a blue space where their faces were. Tried to exit and come back no dice so I had them look in the mirror and change appearance but they werent quite the same.. but no more blue screen faces.

369  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Awww ... So Sweet! on: 2005 October 21, 18:59:08
The new slow dancing is very sweet esp. when one puts his or her head on the others shoulder. I love these interactions.
370  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Sim can't go to work on: 2005 October 21, 03:59:22
When I first played the sims I had a problem after awhile where the kids were qued to go to school and the other sims to work but when they were almost to the bus and car the icons went away and no matter how hard I tried they would not get on the bus or car.  I thought the original patch had addressed this issue. I havent had it since I got Uni.
371  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Flaming Toilet on: 2005 October 20, 23:07:16

373  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Sim can't go to work on: 2005 October 20, 20:12:46
Im not sure can you still see them when you are in the cheat mode and are moving near the area (maybe Im still thinking sims one) it used to say pedestrian portal...I would think if you could screw up your mail and garbage then you could theorectically screw the others up if you are in that mode too long. But maybe Im wrong. That reading thing  that could happen-there have been many weird things happening.
374  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Awww ... So Sweet! on: 2005 October 20, 19:30:57
He is the biggest grouch but he is a good parent. He loves to encourage grouchiness. But get him around a female he likes and he flirts like a little girl. Circe would be good.
375  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Sim can't go to work on: 2005 October 20, 19:28:18
I think some people have actually deleted portals using the move objects cheat..I know for sure the mailbox, and pedestrian. This used to happen all the time in sims1 and I think they do now as well.
