The 'ears' are part of the headdress.
2  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Base hood University: Lion's Uni-GoldRecord and Unitest (Based on Argon's) on: 2008 June 13, 00:16:09
I need some sort of 'teens move out' hack for this, don't I?
3  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: More Awful Than You! March: Fugly Models on: 2008 March 25, 15:20:16

This should have been entered in the WTF contest. Seriously, WTF?
4  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Crammy's Penis and FreeTime on: 2008 March 16, 02:40:44
My sims NEED Crammy's Penis!

I've never downloaded this, but I love reading the relevant threads. Maybe I should try it out to see what all the fuss is about.
5  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: More Awful Than You! March: Fugly Models on: 2008 March 15, 18:41:11
I was looking for one specific model on MTS2, but I can't take it anymore. My eyes feel like they're going to bleed from sifting through so much makeup. So here's one I found along the way:

I don't think that Peggy model is so bad... the hair is, though.

Count Four, that is one hell of a mouth!  Shocked

I keep hearing about how great Oepu's stuff is, but I could never get past the models.
8  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Crash on resized lots at 7PM -- any ideas? on: 2007 October 28, 14:21:58
Oh, yes, my lot crashed at 7. I mention the neighbors because that's all she did all day. I haven't tried again yet, since I was in a bit of shock when the game crashed! Believe it or not that was my first time.
9  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Crash on resized lots at 7PM -- any ideas? on: 2007 October 28, 01:16:47
My game crashed while I was testing the last Backdoor Lane lot, just as described here. I moved in a CAS sim and let her greet her neighbors. I think she made them sandwiches. I'm sorry if this sounds like gibberish! I can't think of anything meaningful to attribute the crash to. Hope this helps.
10  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bon Voyage Woohoo Memories on: 2007 October 23, 00:40:33
Or get struck by lightning! What knowledge sim wouldn't want that? And if they die, that means they can be either saved from death or resurrected as zombies. It's win-win.
11  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: What are the advantages of a Vacation hood over a regular subhood? on: 2007 October 20, 05:42:45
I don't think sims would get memories of traveling to a subhood, even with hotels. I guess you could run a shopping district as a resort town and pretend townies are on holiday there and sell them touristy stuffs. (I love your stories, by the way! I know you can come up with some crazy stuff to sell townies Smiley)

There a fix on the inTeen forum.

That makes sense. You'd think I'd know better than to plop such a massive mod in my game so haphazardly.
13  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Uni weirdness on: 2007 October 12, 22:03:36
Doesn't ACR have teen whoohoo? I've never actually had a teen pregnancy. I guess I don't mind playing without InTeen, but it was nice to have an excuse for some sims to drop out of school.
14  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Uni weirdness on: 2007 October 12, 20:29:10
I checked the dates on my downloads. It was the Kitten Killer. Embarrassed *hangs head in shame* I'm terribly embarrassed. Everything worked fine when I took it out.

I tested the frat on campus. When the founding senior graduated, all but one of his roommates hopped in the cab. They were freshmen and sophomores. They had nothing in their queue and I couldn't stop them. I exited without saving. Oh, and changing Todd's age did nothing. I think the last thing I put in the game was the kitten killer (ducks cat macros), but I installed it after I had the initial problem.

Okay. Updated hacks and checked his inventory and memories. He remembers graduating with honors and has his diploma. No relevant fixes on the lot debugger. Turned debug mode on, nothing unusual. Tried shift-clicking the newspaper and getting him the job he wants. "Don't you have homework to do?" No! He doesn't have any fracking homework! He just graduated with a 4.0! I even deleted him and reloaded the lot. I think I'm going to try to age him up and then back down. If that doesn't work, he's giving his Family asp. wife some kids and going for a swim in a ladderless pool.

I had a sim and her fiancee living in a dorm and graduate together. When I had her call the cab to go back to the neighborhood, they both got in the cab. Fine, I thought, he just graduated too and he would have called a cab anyway. He's an adult, but when I try to get him a job I get a popup saying he should work on his grades before he thinks about working. Huh? This is a shiny new neighborhood with only 7 playable characters. Is it fucked up already? Or am I doing something retarded?
18  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: More Awful Than You! October: Fugly Tops on: 2007 October 08, 18:46:48
It looks like the first cat is on the hood and the second half-a-cat is on the back. But that means that if you put the hood on, you'd have an upside down cat on your forehead.  Huh

I noticed she's also afraid of him dying. Smiley "I'm scared of being a widow, but on the other hand..."

This is why I never post.  Wink

Just as WTF as simmerizing is distorted posing for contests... or maybe just beauty contest photos in general.
22  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Play Style / Rules, by request: Tuesday Island + Baskerville on: 2007 September 16, 19:52:41

If it's just about the aging, I've found the easiest way (for me) is dump them all on an empty lot, go in there every couple of days, and age them up. That way, I can also dress them in somehting less silly when they transition into somehting completely ridiculous .. or in general, dress them in a way that's appropriate (in my game, since they're tourists, they wear a lot of hawaii shirts, shorts, sunglasses, and silly hats).

Hotel is nice as well, but once they're there, everything they spend will be paid for by the family running the hotel .. not sure if that's what you want?

I basically wanted to do the empty lot thing using a hotel-like shell of a building just for appearances. The factory idea makes more sense for employing locals than the hotel does, though. And with the factory, you wouldn't really need townies to pump money into the economy. Once the town gets going, the factory owner's family is sure to be the richest and most powerful politically. I'm thinking of starting this up as a Downtown and eventually moving families to a shopping district (the suburbs), and the main hood (posh gated communities and mansions).  Grin I think too big. This is why I never get past the second rotation before I'm starting a new hood.

How does uni work out? I'd like it to be 'payed for' by the richer families or the community.
23  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Play Style / Rules, by request: Tuesday Island + Baskerville on: 2007 September 14, 15:03:19
I have been wanting to try something like this but failing miserably. In the spirit of "nothing comes from the ether", I didn't have any 'tourists' and so no money was coming in from the outside. Duh. I was thinking of having a carpenter open a furniture store with only the country stuff from Seasons and sell mostly to tourists. I guess I wouldn't mind the whole neighborhood decorated in the same theme... hmm...

Would it make a huge difference if the tourists were unplayed playables instead of proper townies? I would like more control over their aging. What if I have them live in a residential lot that looks like a hotel? And start a home business on it so it can employ locals?  Cheesy I have to go play now.

"The Special People" should be renamed "Every Romance Sim Ever Plus Crappy Dialog". I loved the warning on the front page of "The Polite Family".

*WARNING: LESBIANS*

It seems that all of these people have really bad graphics cards.

I know lots of people got sick of Tai Chi already, but it's a really really quick way of maxing their body skill.
