Seasons helps alot. I play each household for an entire season then move on. That way, from neighborhood view I can see who is behind by what season they're at.

This is exactly how I play too.

Keeping everyone in rotation is easy, but my problem is university. The advantage of playing every family for one season is that it's easier to have children of different ages throughout the hood (kids, teens, etc.), but then I think, when do I send them to college? How long do they stay here? I use the college adjuster so I can speed them through, but then I'm not sure when to bring them back to their families. Currently I'm just sort of waiting until each child has reached teen, and then sending them in batches, and I'm kind of thinking that I'll play the households back in the main hood for a season and then bring the kids back. What does everyone else do?

(And sorry for the hijacking!)

This may be a total noob question, but I need some clarification on binning hairs. I have all the hairstyles on the left, and then on the bottom right of the window I can scroll to the right to get to the other files included in that hairstyle. In the ones that are properly binned, I can see that the second-to-last file is binned in grey and the rest are brown (for example). So what I'm understanding is that those 6 files are the different age groups for that hairstyle. Does that mean that when I bin hairs the second-to-last file needs to be put in grey, and the rest in the right colour? What about those hairstyles which don't include all age groups? Is there a way to tell which one should go in grey?

Well, looks like all I needed to do was reboot, or wait awhile, or something, because when I went to try again later it worked without a hitch.  I guess I'll just let this thread sink into obscurity!

Hi everyone, I've searched the forums but haven't really found a helpful thread for my problem.

I followed your "How to play a "legally backed-up" EP" section in the FAQ, and have acquired the images of OFB, Pets, and Seasons, as well as a couple of SPs.  I used PowerISO to mount the Holiday Stuff Pack and the installation ran right away on its own, but when I mounted OFB, nothing happened.  Can anyone help?  I might have missed something small somewhere... this is the first time I've tried to do this.  Thanks!
