lol, I thought I was going to get a slap for that comment. I got engaged in real life at uni, only to be dumped 3 months before finals. That was a very bizarre time for me. Thanks for correcting the post. I was thinking 'term paper', that's one hell of a typo

There's another cheat for getting the grade up that lies in between 2J's adjuster and Rampage, and this one is by Maxis. Influence a sim to do your assignment. Put your sim on another PC to write it themselves. The bar fills up *twice* as fast, as expected. But when they finish it adds *double* the credit. If you have the influence to get 2 sims to help, *triple* credit, job done. Either this is a bug, or a design feature. I think it's family sims that get the want to write their own assignment directly after influencing another to do it. So they end up in Platignum, and they can use their remaining semester time to seduce their future spouse. Kind of like the girls I met at Uni

It does actually make sense that a fertilizer company should display it. You can create some interesting things if you know what to mix. A schoolfriend used to make smoke effects with them. Note: I deliberately didn't use the B-word, as I don't want Pescado' bunker being raided by the EnEssEye I don't think we have any kind of public alert system here in the UK. I used to be in the military, and never did understand the securty alert status. Yeah, I understood the range of colours 'black, black alpha, amber....', but I just didn't get why it was called the "BIKINI STATE". I don't remember being issued an amber bikini Of course, we all had black ones for personal use.

I don't trust "automatic updates" because they'll install godknowswhat with no oversight. And the manual updates are increasingly incooperative.
Exactly why I don't have it enabled too. The thought of 'MY' machine wanting to call the mothership to install patches that are likely fix one thing and break others at the same times gives me the shivers. Incoorperative you say? I spent the hour between my first two posts in this thread being told my browser was no good, then it needs to update IE to read this 'special' webpage, then I need to reboot because I farted, then my registration fails as I've upgraded my machine too much. Bah, I'm gonna remove the wmf stuff from the handlers. Rainbow: There a Techie saying; "Never attribute to malice what could be explained by ignorance." So along the same lines; "Never attribute to ignorance what could be explained by an Englishman trying to be witty" I'm getting out of here now before I make any more a fool of myself.

. Sorry, that was funny. It was meant to be funny I suppose I should have put some smilies in there for the Americans Seriously though, I am absolutely gobsmacked today having found out that the MS bug in WMF files can give you a virus from just opening an image, such as when browsing. You've got to laugh, or else you'll cry. So those out there (like me) who don't have the automatic update feature turned on should follow the MS link I posted to get this fixed. Of Course, Pescado's GIF images above are fine, and a brilliant idea for the site.

I didn't know about that either. My daughter showed me last week that hitting the space bar also stops the neighborhood flyby movie. That I was glad to know.
I don't know if it's common knowledge but you can get rid of the flyby's altogether by adding this line to your userStartup.cheat # Value found in a debug file boolprop CameraNeighborhoodFlythroughEnabled false There were other values in the debug file that I could not find menu items for but that was the only one that looked interesting to me. If you like that, you may also like getting rid of the startup movies too. Someone here pointed out this site below. Thanks to whoever that was http://www.sims2techguide.net/index.phpNow, if there was only a way to automatically load a neighbourhood at game startup?

TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / HOWTO Get a listing of your Installed Mods

I've seen many posts here and on other boards where people have typed by hand the contents of their 'Downloads' folder.
With the attached batch file, you can save yourself the typing, and have a neat list printed to a text file in milliseconds. The list shows your newest installs at the top, and also lists the content of sub-folders.
Less time typing means more time Simming, Jason.

I have a house that was built like this and no it doesn't, it sort of drives onto air and then drops lol, but it's all very fast...
Hey Motoki, how do you get that effect? Did you cover the slope with an invisible driveway?

Hi, I got this idea after looking at Pescado's Bunker in the 'Fit for a King' http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php?topic=1428.0 thread. I'm sure I've also seen an updated bunker with a normal driveway to park on somewhere round here. On seeing that I thought to myself that there's no way JMP would leave his car there! So here's how to make an underground one. Much more secure:) It'd also be useful for Vampires too, as there's no reason not to connect this to the basement of the house. It's slightly tricky to build as you need to mess with the floor elevation, and therefore build things in a certain order. There's a text file and 6 jpg's in the zip. If others find this useful and works, I'll update this page so it's as pretty as JadeElliott's Street Parking Tutorial, so all feedback welcome. -Jason. [404'ed!]

I had the same problem. Removing Inges ijNoCommunityPlateClearing patch appears to have solved it for me. It started in a secret society lot, the breakfast bowl could not be moved, even with move_objects on. I eventually found that forcing an error on the bowl and then deleting it (twice) would get rid of it. It was as though there was a bowl inside the bowl The problem also happened at the dorm, I didn't check other lot types. I don't recall it happening to plates, but it may be that there weren't any "plate meals" when I had the problem. Jason.
