26  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Store Stuff on: 2008 November 05, 07:19:07
I have added an updated file for you all to download. I've experienced much the same problems have you have. For some reason the SCSKINS package file isn't being updated. I had to delete it  several times to allow the EA downloader to re update.  I have the same problem with the corrupt black knight skin (no clue what the deal is with that) but now all the hair files and all the female outfits are now showing up in CAS.
27  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Store Stuff on: 2008 November 04, 22:14:33
New Medieval Stuff added to the store. Sorry I could only get 3 of the Male outfits. I only had $5 bucks to spend. I am missing the 4th selection. I haven't even seen all the new additions so I hope some of the rest of you  can also "spread the wealth around."  Roll Eyes

Ok, I'm greedy I went back for more. They haven't finished updating the store yet but there is this really neat castle set for 325 points. Here are some of the new Hair styles.
28  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Get Some Native CS Clothings here. Updatet for Elder Clotings. on: 2008 September 17, 01:10:56
Do you know if anyone has converted the native headdresses?
29  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: disabled diagonals on: 2008 September 09, 02:27:18
I've noticed that I can place curtains diagonally in the all of the buildings except those that are zoned apartments.
30  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: TS2 Store Stuff on: 2008 September 09, 02:10:26
I solved the problem of the Spooky skin stuff not showing up in the game by extracting files to both C:\Documents\Eagames\The Sims 2 Store Edition\skins and to another folder I created C:\Documents\Eagames\the Sims2\Dowloads\Store Stuff.   Also do the same thing for the first set of downloads from the Store as some of that stuff may go missing or get corrupted too.
31  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: TS2 Store Stuff on: 2008 September 05, 07:23:14
Would it be possible for some incredibly talented MATY person to modify the Frankenstein hair meshes to remove the electrode thingys?

34  Darcyland / Lord Darcy Investigates / Re: Stuff Pack Objects Fix Collection for Apartment Life on: 2008 September 01, 18:41:20
I am so wrong sorry about that...it is the Hula Feast Table from Seasons.  Thanks about those curtains I'll try removing all my custom stuff from Bins to see if that corrects the problem.
35  Darcyland / Lord Darcy Investigates / Re: Stuff Pack Objects Fix Collection for Apartment Life on: 2008 September 01, 15:57:30
Will you investigate the case of the missing FFS 1x2 Luau Table. I thought it was a conflict with the CS downloads but that wasn't the case. It is missing from Buy Mode but can be found in the FFS Collection where it can be used to place in the game.

Also has anyone else tested the Curtains? Could not get any of them placed diagonally not even the new Sim Store curtains which were modified to allow diagonal placement.
36  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Apartment Life Borkiness, or how i ended the world in 1 hour. on: 2008 September 01, 09:43:06
FT caused the FFS Laua Table to go missing. Now with this AL mess none of the curtains are able to be place diagonally. While playing the Goth house I had to save every 5 minutes or the game would crash.  Everytime my sims visits a Downtown lot the game crashes upon saving.

EA needs to rethink the whole business of reducing the expansion packs down to the last common denominator. It sucks and it really is unfair of them to stick it to the sheeple who have bought all the expansion packs.  They should at least test their crap with all the expansion and stuff packs loaded before they release it for sale.
37  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: CS Items and Replacements - Now with More Stories Items on Second Page on: 2008 August 10, 19:09:52
I didn't intentionally mean to sabotage anybody's game. I deleted them when I realized that I extracted them from Pet Stories last year prior to both getting a new computer and also moving all my custom stuff out of downloads and into Tsdata\Res\Catalog\Bins. I didn't post the pictures because I don't know how to. If someone would be so kind as to tell me how to do so I will try to repackage the lots and repost them with pictures.

Thanks for posting the pic's Hellyes and your vote of confidence. I think the Mesa Flats lots are some of the best of Maxis by far.
38  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: CS Items and Replacements - Now with More Stories Items on Second Page on: 2008 August 10, 12:53:00
Sorry this was a bad idea. I did try to post pictures but all that showed was a bunch of red x's.  If one of the moderators could delete all the posts pertaining to this I would appreciate it. I am truly sorry.
39  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: CS Items and Replacements - Testers Wanted and Help Needed! on: 2008 August 08, 22:33:48
Why do some of the lots have loads of custom content?
These are Maxis lots some of them come with some of the custom items that came with Pet Stories.  I don't have any custom content loaded in my download folders other than the stuff that has been extracted from LS, PS, and CS and a few MATY enhancements.

I tried to take pictures but I am too old and too ignorant to figure out how to post them here. If you have Pets Stories, The Show Park, and Best of Show from the Alice and Sam scenario are included.
40  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: CS Items and Replacements - Testers Wanted and Help Needed! on: 2008 August 08, 05:16:09
Sorry but they are all the residential and community lots from Pet Stories. Perhaps someone else with PS could post a few pictures as examples.
41  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: CS Items and Replacements - Testers Wanted and Help Needed! on: 2008 August 08, 04:41:24
My thank you for all the MATY LS and Castaways playthings and goodies. The Lots from Pet Stories

42  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: CS Items and Replacements - Testers Wanted and Help Needed! on: 2008 August 07, 05:29:44
Many thanks for the wonderful CS additons. They look and work great in my native suburb.  Smiley

I know that there has been a lot of debate here about the stoves not being extractable but could the fruit salad food item  and the buffet table be extracted?
43  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: A Question to anyone with BV that hasn't updated to FT on: 2008 July 21, 21:49:12
Thank you!!!
44  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / A Question to anyone with BV that hasn't updated to FT on: 2008 July 21, 19:50:49
Did EA provide soft neutral recolors to the RestiStall Astro Divider toilets in the BV expansion? I seem to recall some of the vacation lots with the recolors. However since installing Freetime and K&B the recolors seem to have disappeared.  I've checked my downloads folder and don't have recolors for the public toilets. I just need to know if I am frakking crazy.... thanks.

Also, many of the small plants are missing pieces, like the dead state or overgrown bits, since stories plants don't grow like TS2 plants do. That stuff may be beyond me, and I'd end up posting them as non-interactive.

EA used a few of these plants in BV ie. Hesper and Spidery Palm.  They used them in the Island and Far East locations which don't have Fall or Winter seasons so the plants don't have the dead state and don't need tending so my guess is that they are probably meant to be non interactive.
46  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: More CS stuff on: 2008 May 18, 19:58:29
Many thanks. I think Pescado and Havelock have extracted the Fruit trees Plopable trees but I was wondering if you or anyone else reading this has extracted the Build Mode flowers (PheoPlast Grass , Jelly Bean Palms, and the Nepeta Cataria) shrubs (Shrub of the Night, the Crawler Shrubs, and Spidery Palms) or trees (Coconut, Captains Bounty or Sticky Mango).
47  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Uniforms for Top of Career : Slacker and Show Biz on: 2008 April 28, 09:00:28
I realize this is a rather old topic but has the fact that EA slacked off and stuck some ole dingy original Sims2 outfits to some of the new lawyers in Free Time occurred to anyone else but me? Was the missing hidden H&M outfit that reappeared hidden yet again in Free Time (see Lord Darcy's post)intended for the law career?
48  Awesomeware / Playsets & Toys / Re: Salvaged Stories Crap on: 2008 March 26, 23:45:06
The last graphic on the top row isn't in the bedding package file. The only customs in my game are LS, PS and CS.
49  Awesomeware / Playsets & Toys / Re: Salvaged Stories Crap on: 2008 February 20, 01:21:58
Many thanks Havelock, the animal skin rugs were definitely on my prayer list.
50  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Life Stories - Get the Stuffeths here! on: 2007 April 18, 04:36:12
I was wondering if anyone else has noticed that the "Crockery Hall Dining Chair" in LS is designable (with 3 or 4 wood finishes and 3-4 seat pad colors) but the cloned version is not?  How can I make it designable in Simpe? Embarrassed
